  • newegg Excellent long-term stability The non-corrosive thermal compound features low dry-out. Having no conductive material, the Prolimatech PK-1 will not result in any damage even when it contacts to electrical traces, pins and leads.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: Seems to work great. This was my first build since Artic Silver 5 was all the rage. I cant really say with the new cooling system that this stuff is better or worse since its a new rig, but I am quite happy with the CPU temps for an air-cooled system. Impressive.

Cons: None noticed. I found application to be just as easy as any other compound I have used.

Other Thoughts: Read up on application, there are a number of great videos on Youtube regarding which application methods work best and why.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than I thought.

Pros: This simple paste alone, made my Megahalem work better at bringing down temps. It lowered my cpu temps by 4 degrees!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Good consistency. Spreads well. Non conductive, corrosive.

Cons: Kind of pricey for 1 gram. The package isn't great....but it is fine.

Other Thoughts: I have a stock cooler so no drastic drops in temp. My old paste was stock and was over 5 years old so it was dry and needed to be replaced. This seems to be a good choice. I'm getting 50-55c on a x2 6000+ amd with stock cooler. I think this processor is known to run a tad hot anyways. I've never had problems with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: -Great difference in heat
-Doesn't need a ton

Cons: -Only 1 gram :'(

Other Thoughts: 965 Black edition @3.4ghz
Stock Heatsink and Thermal compound - 40 'C on idle, 59'C on load
Gammaxx 300 with their stock TC - 31 'C idle, 50 'C Load
Gammaxx 300 with this TC - 26'C idle, 42'C load

Dang, 14'C from idle compared to stock, and 16'C cooler from load.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Performed measurably better than the stock thermal paste. Dropped processor temperatures by 15+ F. Cheap price and comes with enough to do 2 or more cpus if applied properly

Cons: The container sucks for application, compared to the syringe. Its truly a one use deal, but what do you expect at this price.
