3 out of 5 eggsGreat CFM to Noise ratio, Very slim, wrong mounting!

Pros: Pushes more air than I thought it would, awesome for bringing in air to CPU fan.
Very quite at full tilt
Very Slim

Cons: Although this is a 140mm fan (the blades are 140mm) the mounting screws are for 120mm and because of my case build this messed up the way I planned on mounting it somewhat. This happens because of the slim design they are able to mount inside a little (120mm) instead of the edges. Watch out for this if you plan on using this above a motherboard as a back plate fan, you may run into issues with this hitting the IO panel (like I did on my bitfenix prodigy m case) I resolved this by mounting in the airflow holes on my case instead of the intended fan screw holes.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had known this ahead of time I would have gone with the full size 140mm version from the same company. Overall top notch quality fan and would still recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsupdate after install

Pros: The Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 140 is very quiet, has pwm control, moves decent air through filtered bottom grill with minimal/no vibration, and it fits in restricted 20mm space below graphics card. This two ball bearing fan is suitable for horizontal mounting, while the many many dishonestly mislabeled sleeve bearing fans are not reccomended for horizontal mount.

Cons: blows air sideways

4 out of 5 eggsthe only one that fit

Pros: The ultra sleek vortex 140 is a very quiet and15cm thin long lasting two ball bearing 140mm pwm case fan with 120mm mounting holes.
Fan comes with both an unsleeved 4 pin extention, a molex adapter, and 4 black screws.

Cons: a bit pricey. As a filtered intake fan it mainly blows air siseways off the blade tips instead of straight air flow.
For my purposes this is actually a benefit, driving hot stale air up from under graphics card.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite and Sleek

Pros: Very sleek looking fan was very quite as stated in specs. Works nice with any computer used for gaming due to high CFM. No problems so far with this product.

Cons: Price is a little high but as they say you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Overall very happy with this product. $20 price tag is a little steep for the low budget builder/gamer but it is worth the money if you can afford it.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty cut and dry.

Pros: -Its all The Last Airbender up inside this case, Fight off the entire Fire Nation by pointing your PC at them.
-Win the fight, Get the girl.
-Very Quiet.
-Skinnier than my anorexic cousin.
-Seriously. It moves air...pretty quietly... GOT IT?

Cons: -Looks cheapish. Pretty Woman style; Cheap and rough with a heart of gold, could clean up well or be hidden away.
-Not the "thinnest" fan at 15mm.
-Not the cheapest fan
-Not the sexiest fan
-Not the final answer
-Not the droid you are looking for

Other Thoughts: If you're counting millimeters to get something in your case there are thinner fans. If you are bulding a case that showcases its fans, there are sexier fans. But honestly, This fan fulfills my every desire that a fan can fulfill.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Moves lots of air...

Cons: ...at the expense of lots of noise. I was under the impression this fan would be really nice. I was looking for a shallow 140mm to fit in a 120mm space, be quiet and move some air. It sure failed at the noise part. I thought perhaps it was because of moving air thru the grill, but I held the fan up in open air, no obstructions and at full speed, 12v, was just as loud.

Very disappointed in this fan. I have it in my pc parts boneyard box. Basically these will eventually be thrown away or reused as spacers for other fans in my cases.

Other Thoughts: Don't know if I received a defective one, but I have tried using it in several scenarios, just doesn't work. I would not recommend this fan.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good fan

Pros: Low profile fan that moves a lot of air. I am using this fan as an exhaust in the top of my case and it pushes a ton of air while being nearly silent!

Cons: Would have been nice to have an arrow indicating air flow direction. Fortunately I got lucky and mounted it correctly the first time.

4 out of 5 eggsGood thin fans, could be faster

Pros: Two of these fans fit my Armageddon heat sink perfectly in a push/pull configuration, using the add-on clips (purchased separately) from the manufacturer.

The temps are nice and steady under heavy load.

Cons: Peak RPM between 1,100 and 1,200. I wish I had picked up faster fans in a small profile like this.

Other Thoughts: Antec 902 case
Rampage 2 Gene motherboard
Armageddon heat sink
