1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't fit properly on my 1100T

Pros: Decent size. Thought it would be larger.

Cons: Didnt fit on my AMD Phenom II x6 processor, yet they say its compatible with the AM3 socket.

Other Thoughts: Yes, the box says its only compatible up to the x4 but it didnt say anywhere in the details on the newegg page. How can i buy a product when such a big detail is not given?
Geez, just saying its compatible with AM3 socket doesnt mean ALL cpu's that are AM3 will work!

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product, Good Price

Pros: This fan has done a phenomenal job at keeping my CPU cool. My Phenom II x4 has never peaked 60c even though my room is at times without AC.

Cons: At full speed this fan could rival a jumbo jet, when browsing the web it remains quieter than my previous Dell. Although when it revs high it is loud I would prefer that to a blue screen.

Other Thoughts: The fan ships with several brackets to mount it on Intel socket boards but it is manufactured to fit AMD fan mounts.

5 out of 5 eggsGood fan; keeps things very cool

Pros: Keeps things very cool
Pretty quiet, considering the temps

Cons: Had to tweak in BIOS to make quieter.

Other Thoughts: A very good fan - cooling a AMD X6 1055t processor which I believe usually runs pretty hot.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: Didn't expect to get the quality for the price, was pleasantly surprised. 15% O.C. on i3 didn't even make it think twice. Very quiet too

Cons: Somewhat large but definitely not the biggest I've worked with make sure it can fit your case before you buy.

Other Thoughts: The Rubber mounts for the fan are effective and prevent vibration sounds, but can be quite annoying if you want to change the side the fan is on more than once.

4 out of 5 eggsSooo Quiet

Pros: This baby is just so quiet, it's almost scary. Really. You think that it isn't running at all. In fact, while I was doing a bunch of work with the PC sitting on a table 2' from my head with the cover off, it wasn't running. I had to adjust the settings so it would kick on just so I knew it was going.

Cons: Big. Really big. No, I mean it. This beast is tall and heavy. I had to get a wider case, which is the ONLY reason I bumped it down an egg. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Other Thoughts: I've got it on an AMD Phenom II X3 720 chip.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Running my Intel 250k chip 17deg C cooler under full load vs the stock cooler.

Great price.

Cons: -Hard to install on the Asus P64 Sabertooth MOBO because of the thermal armor taking up space

-Loud under full load (but what 92mm fan wouldnt be?)

4 out of 5 eggsNot Compatible With Xeon 5600 Series

Pros: Looks like a quality product, Larger than I expected.

Cons: Unfortunately this did not work for my application with a Xeon 5600 series property. For these processors the thermal solution mounts with screws rather the plastic clips/pins.

Other Thoughts: Due to my inability to use I can't speak to any performance related issues.

5 out of 5 eggsFinally a heatsink from reality

Pros: It isn't as big as a breadbox. Like some that left me scratching my head, will it fit the case, clear the memory, MB parts, or hit the top case exhaust fans. Then theres the price that is a welcome back to reality for this product category. With so many reviews of people useing shoe horns to get other coolers in or not being able to access all thier memory slots because the cooler covered them. It took me a lot of looking for a cooler that would be better than stock and not a freak of an item when installed. This unit is a perfect fit and doesn't look out of place installed. With the fan installed to the memory slot side there is clearance for circulation between fan and memory and the fan does not cover any slots. On an AMD installation looking down on the cooler, for an example of the coolers foot print, the square plastic retaining piece that holds the coolers on the MB can be seen on all four sides without the fan installed. I've noticed average 10+ degree difference from stock.

Cons: None, but a led fan option would be nice.

Other Thoughts: If your looking for better than stock but have been put off by the shear size, price, or the lack of a pwm fan of some coolers, this is the one for you. It has a 4 prong MB adjusted pwm fan just like a stock cooler. The fan isn't any louder than my case fans that are not at all noisey. A second fan can be added and mounts are supplied. I would say that there isn't an ATX or MATX or motherboard that this cooler wouldn't fit, a nice stock replacment item. I only wish they would state the weight of these coolers as there is a MB limit. I am sure it's pushing the limit, but my guess is that this one is lighter than a lot of the others. This is not a top heavy one and that's another plus and something to keep in mind.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Colorful, nice size, well engineered copper pipes and aluminum fins; goes on quickly and without much effort; moves a lot of air.

Cons: The fan on this particular unit vibrated and was very noisy. In fact, I have a five fan Lian Li case and all five of these fans (4-120s and 1-140) are quiter than this cpu fan.

Other Thoughts: Since I like the design, I'm going to purchase a decent 90mm fan for this unit and try it again.
