4 out of 5 eggsBit of a pain, but it works well (help with installing in Cons)

Pros: It does a great job of keeping the cpu cool at the expense of noise (its not that bad).

Cons: The pins are hard to get in because the manual is just absolute trash. You have to push the arrow`s in, then push them through. After this you gotta push the arrows the other way than the one shown to lock them in. Also you can sway the fan slightly to get at the pins covered by the fan, which is nice

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Cooler

Pros: The temp hasn't gone over 50C when gaming and it fits perfectly in my Hadron case.

Cons: The mounting clips are a bit tricky to figure out and it takes a little bit of patience to get them secured. The clips feel kind of cheap. The directions were useless.

Other Thoughts: Idle temps are about 45C and about 48C when gaming (I was gaming @1080P/Lowest settings on BF4 while I'm waiting on my GPU to come in).

1 out of 5 eggsRandall P.

Pros: Fits LGA1150, Puys out good airflow.

Cons: I don't care what anybody says the installation is hard and cheap like a lot of the fans out there.
Corsair Dominator memory is too tall for clearance of the Noctua 14S. If you have that memory don't buy this fan.
I threw the EVGA in the trash along with intels' fan.

Other Thoughts: Get a Noctua 14S. Face it toward the bottom of the board /case. The mounting is ultra secure and easy as is possible. Highly recommended. The absolute best. I love this setup. The packaging is the best in the field.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Randall P,

We do appreciate the feedback and concerns in terms of our mITX CPU cooler. Our mITX CPU cooler was designed with the mITX builds in mind. It is a smaller cooler compared to its bigger counterpart the ACX CPU Cooler. EVGA does offer 24 hour Presales Support by phone 1.888.881.3842 and pressing option 3 or by email to assist with any questions or concerns, before purchasing a product

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb black mini cooler

Pros: It cools very well for a 92mm compact CPU Cooler and allows a small overclock while only staying around the low 60C's at load.

Cons: The price is a tad bit too high for the slight performance increase it has over the Hyper TX3....The mounting clips require a bit of patience to snap on, no big deal.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's A Good Cooler

Pros: All black
Fan cable is sleeved
Mounting couldn't be easier
It's exactly the same as the stock Intel cooler with its mounting mechanism, just push down on the clip in opposite corners of each other and it clips right in
Keeps an i3-4340 3.5GHz at 65C on full load using Prime95

Cons: Fan color doesn't match heatsink color, it's more of a faded black where the heatsink is glossy black
Can be very loud at full speed

Other Thoughts: Not sure how Pedro managed to mess up so badly, but the mounting mechanism on this heatsink was absolutely a breeze to mount

2 out of 5 eggsOK at best

Pros: Small Profile when compared to the alternatives and it looks great in all black. It works better than stock CPU cooler.
However, temperatures are average not a super cool.

Cons: Its a pain to install the Clips kept coming out,
even after you twist them in to place due to pressure on opposite side. a 2 min job turned in to 10 min and another 10 when i was doing some Wire straightening and it decided to come unhooked from the motherboard.
Its also Not as quiet as others I have used.

Other Thoughts: Clips should be better made, maybe a little a little longer or the top button stop wider.
looks elsewhere if your looking for max air cool and quietness

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for ITX gaming rig.

Pros: Intended for EVGA's Hadron ITX Air case, this 92mm CPU cooler is quiet and meant for ITX Gaming builds with 150mm-200mm of headroom. I'm using the Corsair Obsidian 250D case. Build your own or by a AIO water cooler if your more hardcore beyond gaming.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I was searching for a 3rd party air cooler for my new ITX Gaming build:
Asus Maximus VI Impact ROG
i7 4770k
16gb Kingston 2133mhz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 oc
Corsair Obsidian 250D case
I saw someone post a review that they didn't give specs of their rig and I almost followed their advice. The EVGA mITX ACX cooler works quietly and efficiently in my build. If this unit did not suit your needs Christian B. then give those reading your rant YOUR build specs so if they have your type of setup they can make an intelligent decision on buying it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Fits!!

Pros: All black with EVGA logo, excellent design allows it to clear the RAM with room to spare. Using this with an AZZA Solano 1000 case with the side fan that obstructs coolers until this one! i5 4670k and ASRock Z87 Extreme4 with G.Skill Sniper RAM. Temps are low, this cooler works, and it fits.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Fan gets mounted on the back and sucks air out of the cooler and blows it to the cases exahaust. I inverted the cooler so the logo is upside down and the fan blows air into it, but I had to load the RAM into the A2 B2 slots to make room. Don't know if theres any difference but it works anyway. Sort of wished I mounted this like it's suppose to but I don't really look into my case anyway. I just really like that it fits since my case has such clearance issues for taller coolers, not to mention it is doing an excellent job of cooling.

1 out of 5 eggsLoud fan, poor machining, just dumb

Pros: Black... running prime 95 for a short time (long enough to just watch that the temp was steady for about 5 minutes), it didn't go over 40C and that is exaggerating. It was sitting at more like 36 +/-1C, so at least it does what it should.

Cons: Just installed this and I have to say, I wasn't impressed with the quality.

First off, the fan clips are a pain, and if you have to take the fan on and off a bunch of times (you have to if you install your RAM so that you can reach two of the push connectors to attach it to the motherboard) you're going to wind up with bloody fingers and most likely mess up that all black paint job. I took it off 3 times and the edges where it clips over are showing a bit of silver.

The bottom contact that contacts the CPU had a groove in it about 1/4" further than it should have, from the curvature of the heat pipes. That means that about a 0.5 x 5mm area of my CPU will not be in direct contact with the heat sink, so I made sure to compensate with arctic silver. Contact was not as smooth as others I have used. Usually it's like a nice copper mirror you can see yourself in, this was not the case here.

For a 92 mm fan, the heat sink is still pretty tall, and it almost didn't clear the side fan on my case, so check the dimensions and your case if you consider this.

The fan is incredibly loud, and I have case fans that are utterly silent, so this fan basically ruins my nice quiet rig. I essentially have to use headphones when gaming now, especially if it hits around 70% duty cycle and higher on auto mode.

When mounted so that it pulls air from front to the rear exhaust fan, the printed EVGA on the top is upside down. If EVGA would have tested this at all, they would have realized that. Now I get to look at it through my side panel upside down, and it makes me mad.

Other Thoughts: I will definitely be finding a replacement fan.

I expected better quality from EVGA, then again I don't know what I was thinking buying a CPU cooler from them.

4 out of 5 eggsEVGA 100-FS-C901-KR 92mm

Pros: An all black heatsink with an all black fan with different speeds. Fits just right in ATX towers. Not too big but not whimpy either. Has enough cooling power and very good airflow. I faced mine so it would blow through the heatsink and right into the PC Fan and out the back of the case with the top fans blowing in fresh air into it.

Cons: The metal clips that hold the fan onto the heatsink can be annoying if not snug. It will make a loud vibrating noise at times when the fan is going at it. Wish there was some kind of cap or grommet on the ends where it goes into the fan screw holes to keep it tight. Looks cool but poor design on that part.
