It also comes with other features such as FDB technology for low noise and long life, multiple color options, and on-the-fly light switching. Improve cooling and airflow to your case/system with this BitFenix 200mm red LED fan.

  • newegg High Pressure/CFM Design Engineered for maximum pressure and airflow, Spectre Pro LED delivers a torrent of air that will keep your system cool even when the action heats up.
  • newegg Dual Frame Construction Using a dual frame construction, Spectre Pro LED fans not only offer aggressive looks, but also vibration dampening properties, helping to keep noise levels in check.
  • newegg Reinforced Fan Blades Spectre Pro LED features reinforced fan blades that resist warping even when spinning at high speeds for maximum cooling performance.
  • newegg Focused Airflow The special curved design of Spectre Pro LED fan blades and cage directs airflow in a focused column, minimizing diffusion and allowing cool air to reach your components.
  • newegg Silent Operation and Long Life Spectre Pro LED features the very same fluid dynamic bearing technology of Spectre LED Silent Fan series for minimum noise and maximum operating life.
  • newegg Multiple Colors Available Spectre Pro LED comes in a variety of LED colors for your choice; its inner ring is also color matched to the LED color for a unique look.

5 out of 5 eggsSiren whine no more

Pros: LOTS of airflow.
Quiet, you can hear it, but what you are hearing is airflow.
Solid build, well made plastics, connectors and motor.
Comes with a low speed molex adapter.
perfect amount of LED bling.

Cons: Slightly thicker than some other 200mm's
Fan blades at front are very close to mounting surface.
Not PWM
No instructions

Other Thoughts: When I first installed this thing as a front intake I HATED the noise it made, it sounded just like a tornado siren, I noted the miniscule distance between the blades and the grate, I put 2 and 2 together, the noise was caused by the grate harmonizing with the blades (just like a real siren) I put the fan in front of the mounting plate but still behind the front mesh, it JUST fit, flipped it on and no more tornado siren. I think DIY cases flubbed initial setup as I can see this happening with other fans.

In short, if you mount it as an intake make sure the back sits on the mounting surface or shim the heck out of it.

3 out of 5 eggsNoisy as Hell!

Pros: ~ pushes a lot of air
~ bright red LEDs

Cons: ~ intermittent loud clicking and/or brushing sound

Other Thoughts: This fan is noisy. Even when the clicking isn't happening, this fan is appreciably louder than the Cooler Master Megaflow 200 that I will be using to replace this.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Beautiful. Airflow to noise ratio is good.

Cons: Was unable to lower fan speeds to my liking. At lower voltages, the fan would not start.

Other Thoughts: I wish this fan were 500 RPM.

5 out of 5 eggsGood fan, great price

Pros: Great air movement, fairly silent, cheap price...nuff said

Cons: Mounting bracket is odd. I have to get longer screws to install it on the place of the original case fan due to the shape of the shroud but it was doable with a little work.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great choice, I should have looked closer at my case before ordering it to be better prepared.

5 out of 5 eggsReally big fan

Pros: This is a big fan. As in, the housing is a good bit thicker than your standard 200mm fan. The led's are just bright enough to put out a good bit of light without being over-bearing. Move plenty of air as well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Perfect replacement fan for the DEEPCOOL Steam Castle which is what I got it for.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent fan

Pros: Not as loud as other fans out there.
Great CFM.
Sturdy Construction.

Cons: Little louder than other fans.

Other Thoughts: A great fan. Replaced my front fan on my Cougar case.
Bit of a fitment issue with the case, but that would be fixed by measuring the old fan.
Great packaging, excellent Item. Definitely would buy another.

3 out of 5 eggsUpdated review

Pros: Reduced the sound of my pc significantly. Loving the quiet and it does not tick.

Cons: The mounting brackets on the frame are too big. I had to cut a few chunks out of the frame to make it fit, but it was so worth. Be sure to have a very spacey case if you want this fan.

Other Thoughts: This fan was quite the project to install because I had to MAKE it fit. Overall, I am happy with the fan since it did what I wanted. Higher airflow, and much quieter. I would not buy again due to space constraints.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't fit

Pros: None yet

Cons: It doesn't fit in the top of my cooler master enforcer case at all, and the extra fan mounting holes block me from replacing the front cover. I will probably just mod the frame of the fan to make it fit as my intake fan.

4 out of 5 eggsTick Tick Tick

Pros: Direct fit replacement for my HAF-X Tower.
Good strong design/build.
Good airflow.

Cons: Under load it ticks. Constant ticks, as if a piece op paper was just touching the fan blades as it spins. Constant ticking.

Other Thoughts: It's a relatively cheap fan, so I had to order a second one since this one has noise issues. The constant ticking under load. Not a fan of that. If it didn't tick, the fan would be great. Probably should take more than one egg off for a malfunctioning product but I'm going to assume my problem is isolated and the new fan I buy to replace this one will not have the constant ticking noise. Lets up. On a side note, I also ordered the 230mm version of this fan for the front of my HAF-X and it has been running perfectly and quietly. Satisfied with that one and that one is the reason why I am only taking 1 egg off, because I know this should be a quality product and I got a bad one. Hopefully new one ordered will be good.
