Following the success of Spectre LED Fan Series, Spectre Pro LED ups the ante with an all-new design and enhanced performance. The high pressure and CFM design produces wicked cooling and is also perfect for watercooling setups. Its dual frame construction not only looks great, but also helps to dampen vibrations that cause unnecessary noise. Reinforced fan blades prevent warping at high RPM levels, while focused airflow ensures cool air can reach all of your installed components. With FDB technology for low noise and long life, multiple color options, and on-the-fly light switching, Spectre Pro LED is the new gold standard in performance case fans.

Harness the fury with the Spectre Pro LED Fan Series.

  • newegg High Pressure/CFM Design Engineered for maximum pressure and airflow, Spectre Pro LED delivers a torrent of air that will keep your system cool even when the action heats up. Performance freaks and water cooling enthusiasts are going to love Spectre Pro.
  • newegg Dual Frame Construction Using a dual frame construction, Spectre Pro LED fans not only offer aggressive looks, but also vibration dampening properties, helping to keep noise levels in check. In short, Spectre Pro LED Fan Series looks different because it is.
  • newegg Reinforced Fan Blades High rotation speeds can actually warp fan blades while in motion, resulting in more turbulence and noise. Spectre Pro LED features reinforced fan blades that resist warping even when spinning at high speeds for maximum cooling performance.
  • newegg Focused Airflow All the airflow in the world won't do you any good if it can't reach your system's hotspots. The special curved design of Spectre Pro LED fan blades and cage directs airflow in a focused column, minimizing diffusion and allowing cool air to reach your components.
  • newegg Silent Operation and Long Life Like Spectre LED Silent Fan Series, the Spectre Pro LED features the very same fluid dynamic bearing technology for minimum noise and maximum operating life. Moreover, included with each Spectre Pro LED Fan are some thoughtful extras that help you keep noise levels as low as possible. Four Anti-Vibration Rivets help further deaden noise-making vibrations, and for even more noise control, install the included Low-Noise 7V Adapter. Get more with Spectre Pro LED.
  • newegg On-the-Fly Light Switching Spectre Pro LED borrows the on-the-fly light switching technology from the original Spectre LED Series, which allows you to turn the fan lights on and off with the push of a button using compatible BitFenix chassis and accessories.

2 out of 5 eggsBitFenix Spectre Pro Blue LED 120 MM review

Pros: Works to specifications, quiet, nice design and construction. LED's look nice too, but see CONS.

Cons: One LED died after 3 months, this is unacceptable as the blue LED's were one of my main reasons for buying this fan.

Other Thoughts: Bought this case fan to replace my non-led rear case fan on my Antec 300 Illusion. I have had the case for 3 1/2 years now and the original blue led case fans all still work. I am very disappointed with the quality of the LED's on this Spectre fan and will not be buying any more Bitfenix fans.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome

Pros: Quiet. I put in 5 new fans in my haf 932, the case is quiet. Even less noise than with 4 stock fans running at lower rpms.

Looks sweet awsome. The leds in these fans are top notch.
bright, but not too powerful.
solid color and shine in the pattern in the picture on the moving blades.
they also provide just the amount of illumination i wanted in my case. everything has this nice blue glow all over.

moves air. some people complain it dosent. I have no way to test the CFM or pressure scientificaly, but i do have hands and thermal monitors.
when running the CM 932 stock 230mm fan and the bitfenix at full tilt you can feel the difference with your hand, the fenix moves the air.
also after replacing all my stock fans. running everything in silent mode, temps are down, 3~6c
stock fans ran on standard profile and well temps were warmer and rpms higher.

has the ability to turn off the leds with a jumper and comes with a extension cable to attach to the bitfenix hyrdo or something to have remote control of the leds.
I ll never turn them off. i bought them for thier looks, but the ability of control is always nice.

comes with great mounting options, screws, rubber studs and washers.

has a nice long cable to reach through you case to either the powersupply or motherboard plugs.

Cons: mounting. lets talk.

it mounts to the 932 haf just fine, everything lines up and bolts in tightly.

its the process to get the mounting done which is kinda mickey mouse.

first off, the mounting holes are not threaded so its up to you to place the threads if you want to use the screws for mounting.

if you use regular, not self tapping, screws your going to have to be prepared with several backup screws. because, first, phillips style just strips out easily. keep a vice grips handy to get stripped screws our of the fan.

next, the plastic is tough and you really have to muscle the screw in and out.
it can be done, but i warn you, as you muscle the screw in you will smell buring plastic from all the friction. Because of this you must turn in the screw and then back it out right away other wise the plastic will "set" in the threads and when you go to remove the screw, it will be incredibly tough and then snap really loudy making you think you broke the fan but really you just freed the screw from the melted plastic. i also advise to skip the mechanical drills for screwing in the screws, if i can melt plastic by turing them in by hand a drill will liquify the plastic.
you need to support the surrounding plastic. when your threading, you will see if flex, and it flexes far. support it with your finger or something and all will be fine. I didnt break anything.

to make your life easier, run to lowes, home depot ace ect and pick up some #10 self tapping screws and then they will just turn in and out with ease. the scraping noise will make you worried though, dont, its just the screw cutting away at the plastic.

those of you who own a HAF 932 will have this luxary, your top and side mount screws are self tapping. just grab one of those and thread all your fans before mount in your case.

i have found that the rubber sunnbers are to small for my CM 932 case's mount holes. while installing the fans i was able to easily pull the snubbers through the fan and the case. plus i had a fan fall while mounting it, so for me i skipped the rubber mounts. its fine and quiet anyways.
maybe your experience will be differnt but just wanted to throw that out there.

Also watch the included options in the packaging. i bought 5 fans and only 2 of them came with everything advertised. not to worry, a quick note to the fine folks at bitfenix and everything will be hunky dorey.

Other Thoughts: although i took a year and a day to explain the mounting process, once you do it the first time, your set.

or just learn from my pain and get set before you work and these fans will pop in easily and tighten up real nice.

i have no idea how people are complaining that these fans dont move air, i can feel it and my temps are down.
it might not feel like a hurricane but they work great for me.

they look great, if your lookin for led fans that are pretty, these are it. i love thier looks. completed my "blue theme" in my case matching my zalman cnps9900max blue.

fans are so quiet, i had to put my case up on some vibration asorbing material because the vibrations were transfering to the table and driving me nuts. with stock fans i never noticed that.

5 out of 5 eggsBitfenix!

Pros: Nice colored blue, highly pressurized, very quiet fans even at 100%.

Cons: A bit expensive, but you really do get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: To point out to the other guy, these fans are meant for static pressure. the fact that they can push so much air through rads and dense heatsinks with little to no noise is incredible.

They're not meant to blow your face off, and they will keep your cpu cooler than the average fan that comes with your heatsink.

If you have the money and want quiet, powerful performance, then get these.

Pros: Quiet Fan
Great looking Frame and coloration
Great Airflow for the speed.

2 out of 5 eggsAwesome Looking Thats It

Pros: Very nice and durable. Looks awesome.

Cons: HORRIBLE air flow..I really cant believe it...The money you pay for this fan, it should be very quiet but blow the skin off your face. Going with the Prolimatech 120mm Blue led fan. I bought 1 of each before i placed my order for 10 to go in my new SWITCH 810 Case. The prolimatech ROCKS and looks better to. Feels like twice as much air flow.

Other Thoughts: Not worth it to me at all. Newegg rocks though!!
