My mobo has a 3 and 4pin header but this doesn't have a 4pin connector. If you have the Hydra Pro fan controller by Bitfenix you are able to turn of the leds and also dim them as you turn the speed down. Cons: Screws are a pain to get through the fan holes. No indicators of intake/exhaust side for the noobies. Other Thoughts: Great looking fan to combine with Bitfenix tower and other Bitfenix fans. Did you find this review helpful? HeavyMetalSamurai 8/17/2012 8:08:40 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Cool Fan Pros: The BitFenix Spectre Pro pushes a good amount of air for what I use it for (which is mounted on the side of my case as a intake fan). The white LEDs are bright but not blinding and the fan gives off a slightly smoked aura, thus I have personally dubbed it "The Blizzard". Having stated that though, I should mention that it is relatively quiet, mostly due to the design and overall good build quality of the frame and fan blades. Cons: No real issues with this fan. I would have liked more airflow, but the airflow is good and I'm not going to take off an egg for nitpicking. Other Thoughts: On a side note, I wish they would have or would make one that pushes more air. Not to say this one doesn't, but I'd like to have a cool looking fan like this with some power within the range of a Scythe Ultra Kaze. Am using a Lian Li TU200 Case and wanted super quiet and I get that with the adapter. Its big brother the 140mm variant,, has holes for 120 and 140,, which i needed. Cons: Not PWM,, I dont buy a lot of case fans,, but since 3 pin easily converts to molex,, the 4 pin you cant convert without a controller is pwm.. Other Thoughts: Regardless,, for the job they do at the noise level,, and while keeping a good look with colors that dont clash (Noctua),, I am very happy. I even found a solution for my PWM problem.
