Following the success of Spectre LED Fan Series, Spectre Pro LED ups the ante with an all-new design and enhanced performance. The high pressure and CFM design produces wicked cooling and is also perfect for watercooling setups. Its dual frame construction not only looks great, but also helps to dampen vibrations that cause unnecessary noise. Reinforced fan blades prevent warping at high RPM levels, while focused airflow ensures cool air can reach all of your installed components. With FDB technology for low noise and long life, multiple color options, and on-the-fly light switching, Spectre Pro LED is the new gold standard in performance case fans.

Harness the fury with the Spectre Pro LED Fan Series.

  • newegg High Pressure/CFM Design Engineered for maximum pressure and airflow, Spectre Pro LED delivers a torrent of air that will keep your system cool even when the action heats up. Performance freaks and water cooling enthusiasts are going to love Spectre Pro.
  • newegg Dual Frame Construction Using a dual frame construction, Spectre Pro LED fans not only offer aggressive looks, but also vibration dampening properties, helping to keep noise levels in check. In short, Spectre Pro LED Fan Series looks different because it is.
  • newegg Reinforced Fan Blades High rotation speeds can actually warp fan blades while in motion, resulting in more turbulence and noise. Spectre Pro LED features reinforced fan blades that resist warping even when spinning at high speeds for maximum cooling performance.
  • newegg Focused Airflow All the airflow in the world won't do you any good if it can't reach your system's hotspots. The special curved design of Spectre Pro LED fan blades and cage directs airflow in a focused column, minimizing diffusion and allowing cool air to reach your components.
  • newegg Silent Operation and Long Life Like Spectre LED Silent Fan Series, the Spectre Pro LED features the very same fluid dynamic bearing technology for minimum noise and maximum operating life. Moreover, included with each Spectre Pro LED Fan are some thoughtful extras that help you keep noise levels as low as possible. Four Anti-Vibration Rivets help further deaden noise-making vibrations, and for even more noise control, install the included Low-Noise 7V Adapter. Get more with Spectre Pro LED.
  • newegg On-the-Fly Light Switching Spectre Pro LED borrows the on-the-fly light switching technology from the original Spectre LED Series, which allows you to turn the fan lights on and off with the push of a button using compatible BitFenix chassis and accessories.

5 out of 5 eggsIt does what it is supposed to do.

Pros: Looks and works great. Quieter than my stock 140mm corsair fan. Fit fine in my 380t mini itx.

Cons: Fan has either a wobble or a warped blade. Possibly from distributor or shipping company's storage or handling. Not knocking an egg off, because it doesnt affect it.

3 out of 5 eggsPoor case fitment.

Pros: Good airflow at low RPM.
Mostly quiet.

Cons: I ordered two of these and all but one of the cons listed apply to both so I don't think we're talking about an individual defective unit.

The fan blades extend past the shroud on the intake side limiting your options in mounting it. Basically, it will only work blowing into whatever surface it is mounted to unless you add spacing washers (plural) or grind out your case.

The bullet point about reinforced fan blades to prevent warping is a bit ironic since the blades aren't even with each other to begin with.

There is a very slight bearing click from one of the two fans.

Other Thoughts: A design that limits a 200mm fan to mostly just exhaust only is pretty silly. I wanted to fit these to the front of my case as a pair of big, quiet intakes but I ended up having to mount them to the top as exhaust instead. So much for positive pressure but at least I have a case with enough fan mounting options that there was somewhere else to put them.

The 200mm Thermaltake fan that came with my Core X9 has no such fitment issues and is just as quiet; it's just not as attractive being that it's a basic black fan with no LEDs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: Moves alot of air. It screw right into my Cooler Master HAF X Case. Just have to pay attention to which slots you are using.

Cons: Not Threaded. Expect alot of resistance and it almost sounds like you're breaking the fan.

Other Thoughts: The only issue I had was with the top part of the case with these fans. The fan is alittle on the wide side and without slight adjustment of the case. the blades will rub on radiator brackets. Annoy issue but a simple one to fix and no need to knock off an egg for that.

3 out of 5 eggsit works but.. not the best for 600T

Pros: this fan was purchased to replace my 600t top exhaust and bottom intake fan. I was able to replace the intake fan with little fuss. HOWEVER!! in order for my intake fan to fit. i needed to dremel out a small piece of the fan primarily because the fan was sitting where part of my case comes and snaps together.

Cons: The MAJOR con was this fan moves a lot of air. it was a hefty upgrade from my 200x200x20mm fan to a 30mm fan (thickness). this is great but it is not as quiet.

THIS WILL NOT FIT: the exhaust fan of a 600t w/o modding the slot where the stock 200mm fan goes. why? well the spectre pro is a 30mm thickness and the stock one is 20mm thickness.. it simply will not fit.

didn't see any clear markings on which way the fan is supposed to go.. not a big deal for me since i know which way i needed it but for novice users this may be a nice touch.

Other Thoughts: aside from having to dremel out a piece for the intake fan its nice to have a fresh supply of air coming into my case. it has VERY noticeable difference in air flow. i consider this a case and fan flaw. Fan Flaw because the fan has 7 different mounting options. =\ if these were not there i wouldn't have to dremel.

5 out of 5 eggsAdaptable Fan

Pros: The construction of this fan is very high grade. Housing is made of durable plastic and you're not going to break any blades from objects accidentally bumping them during operation, proven fact.

There are many screw hole choices to help position the fan to suit your case's needs.

Decently quiet, and can be controlled by your motherboard (3-pin).

Icy cool white light.

Good Packaging.

Back of the fan has a design that also doubles as a good blocker to keep cables from getting jammed into the fan. Won't replace a grille but it was surprising that it was more than just a vertical and horizontal support.

Contributes to your entertainment providing, space heater and air purifying device.

Cons: The LED's could be brighter. Seems to be a Bitphoenix thing as the 140mm spectre pro was the same.

The power cable is not very long.

Not PWM.

No optional grille included.

1 out of 5 eggsWill it work on NZXT tower?

Pros: Possibly, it would've worked great, but don't know since it did not fit my new NZXT Phantom 530 case.

Cons: Definitely, it WON'T work on the NZXT tower cases! Very disappointed!!

Other Thoughts: Called Premier Customer Service and wanted to do an exchange for the NZXT 200 mm fan; they said that I could only do it within the 30 days return policy, beyond that unless it's defected which the Rep was eluding to, but that was not the issue for me. Well, after spending $2500 on this build from NewEgg; this'll be the last one from me to them.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan for wrong case

Pros: RPM, low noise levels, LED is bright but not over done. The fan is great lowering my temps as I do not have a water cooler yet for my CPU.

Cons: Now to the problem I have a NZXT Phantom 630 (non windowed) case. I bought this to add to the top of the case as it only came with one 200 mm fan on the top. When I tried to fit it in the top the bulky screw mounts on the fan where a little to big. I also tired the front of the case still no luck. Becoming discouraged I then realized that the side enclosure was perfect. Taking the 200 mm fan from the side and mounting that on top then making this my side fan made me happy. I did a lot of looking around and thought this would fit on the top but nothing was lost with it not fitting.

Other Thoughts: I know that the main page of the product showed compatible cases but I wish there was more in dept to it. If anybody has a site for something like that please share. Maybe I should not be so stupid.

5 out of 5 eggsGood airflow!

Pros: Replaced my front intake 200mm with this fan and dropped my tempts 10c ! Will be purchasing another for side panel.

Cons: Didn't fit my overseer rx-i snow edition case too well , had to modify my front panel but after snapping away some of the useless plastic I got it to work. Took only 10 min though to figure out which pieces I needed to break basically lol.
