Following the success of the Spectre Fan Series, Spectre Pro ups the ante with an all-new design and enhanced performance. The high pressure and CFM design produces wicked cooling and is also perfect for watercooling setups. Its dual frame construction not only looks great, but also helps to dampen vibrations that cause unnecessary noise. Reinforced fan blades prevent warping at high RPM levels, while focused airflow ensures cool air can reach all of your installed components. With FDB technology for low noise and long life, and availability in both LED and non-LED varieties, Spectre Pro is the new gold standard in performance case fans.

  • newegg High Pressure/CFM Design Engineered for maximum pressure and airflow, Spectre Pro delivers a torrent of air that will keep your system cool even when the action heats up. Performance freaks and water cooling enthusiasts are going to love Spectre Pro.
  • newegg Dual Frame Construction Using a dual frame construction, Spectre Pro fans not only offer aggressive looks, but also vibration dampening properties, helping to keep noise levels in check. In short, the Spectre Pro Fan Series looks different because it is.
  • newegg Reinforced Fan Blades High rotation speeds can actually warp fan blades while in motion, resulting in more turbulence and noise. Spectre Pro features reinforced fan blades that resist warping even when spinning at high speeds for maximum cooling performance.
  • newegg Focused Airflow All the airflow in the world won't do you any good if it can't reach your system's hotspots. The special curved design of Spectre Pro fan blades and cage directs airflow in a focused column, minimizing diffusion and allowing cool air to reach your components.
  • newegg Silent Operation and Long Life Like the Spectre Silent Fan Series, the Spectre Pro features the very same fluid dynamic bearing technology for minimum noise and maximum operating life.

2 out of 5 eggsbeware of its dimensions

Pros: im sure its good but i never got to use it

Cons: the size and shape of this fan made it impossible to install in my coolermaster haf 912, i just couldnt get it on the front so i thought ok ill install it on the top.

guess what??? i couldnt, again the shape and size made it impossible. if i had a more appropriate case could i have fit, yes i could have so this is my warning to everyone else be aware of the shape and size of this fan as it will not fit all cases

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible quality

Pros: Nice air flow

Cons: - Wobble between 2 to 7V, sounds like a helicopter at a closed distance. Very obnoxious.
- All white doesn't look too appealing, they should've made just the blade whites and the frame black to blend in with many black cases that are out there.
- Blades are made of cheap foam. Hit my fingers, didn't even put a single scratch on me then completely felt off. lol

Other Thoughts: Newegg is awesome because they took it back. The manufacturer is worthless, they refused to warranty it. As a matter of fact, their 1 year warranty is terrible too. Arctic Cooling provides 6 years on all their FDB items. So I don't know what's the dealy is with this brand. It seems like they just don't care.

2 out of 5 eggsto fragile otherwise nice

Pros: good areflow nice and quiet while they lasted

Cons: the blades are extremly weak compared to some of the fans ive owned i bought 2 and the first one broke on my part because the cord was hitting the blades and i tried to get it out of the way blade broke that was my fault the second fan though started making noise so i went to take my side panel off and 2 blades busted off which sucked i didnt even touch them or move the fans i was about to

Other Thoughts: good fans if they wern't so touchy if somebody accidentally bumps ur case or moves it around they have a good chance of busting becareful

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: It works. Quiet.

Cons: Not LED like I thought it was but my own fault for not paying more attention to the description

Other Thoughts: I'm using this as a side intake fan on my Corsair 650D, I of course bought the side mesh insert from Corsair. I've been using it for a few months and haven't had any problems with it.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy, quiet, air mover

Pros: This is a sturdy little piece of fan tech, The body of the fan is reinforced. Looks good, it's white. moves air. works with controllers just fine.

Cons: Needs to come with a few grommets etc for anti vibration and noise dampening.

Other Thoughts: Needed a nice looking white fan that was a functional air mover. It is hard to find quiet, air mover, good looks, sturdy etc but this fits the bill and stays in the mid price group.

5 out of 5 eggsGood fans

Pros: Bought 3 to replace all the 200mm fans on my CM HAF-X case, turns out this fan doesn't fit the top rear fan position well. Had to take a hac-saw to one of them it to get it to fit. I blame the misfit on CM more than bitfenix, these fans are gorgeous and moves a good amount of air and isn't too loud

Cons: NONE!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Not very loud
Blows a lot of air

Cons: Did not ship with anti-vibration rivets

Other Thoughts: To expand on the rivet con, the product description on both newegg and bitfenix's website show anti-vibration rivets shipping with the fan. When I received it, they were not in the packaging and a strip of tape was covering the description of the rivets on the box the fan came in. Not sure if they're sold separately or what, but I have to dock a few eggs for that. I had to tap the holes in the fan using the included mounting screws, which of course stripped them and rendered them useless. good thing I had extras. Otherwise the fan runs great

5 out of 5 eggsBig fan

Pros: It is extremely quiet, and puts out a ton of air. I specifically got this because it has the highest CFM rating of all the 200mm fans.

Cons: more of a gripe with all fans nowadays. i hate the self threading screws, I always manage to strip them.

other than that, none.

Other Thoughts: Fits nicely in the prodigy.

4 out of 5 eggsAlternate Use

Pros: Quiet
Size

Cons: A bit light on documentation.
Frame seems a bit flimsy.

Other Thoughts: I bought these because they were a good size to mount below my attic air vents, and because they promised to move a lot of air. The size is nearly perfect, but the air flow seems a bit weak even when they aren't mounted. [The air is barely perceptible at about two feet. However, that may be a function of the way I have it wired.]

It may be unfair of me to evaluate them as attic vent fans. They're probably great at moving air through a computer case, and they're quiet enough that you probably won't hear them working. On the other hand, they are easy to adapt to other uses. If you try it, just be aware that you may need several to get the job done.
