Following the success of Spectre LED Fan Series, Spectre Pro LED ups the ante with an all-new design and enhanced performance. The high pressure and CFM design produces wicked cooling and is also perfect for watercooling setups. Its dual frame construction not only looks great, but also helps to dampen vibrations that cause unnecessary noise. Reinforced fan blades prevent warping at high RPM levels, while focused airflow ensures cool air can reach all of your installed components. With FDB technology for low noise and long life, multiple color options, and on-the-fly light switching, Spectre Pro LED is the new gold standard in performance case fans.

Harness the fury with the Spectre Pro LED Fan Series.

  • newegg High Pressure/CFM Design Engineered for maximum pressure and airflow, Spectre Pro LED delivers a torrent of air that will keep your system cool even when the action heats up. Performance freaks and water cooling enthusiasts are going to love Spectre Pro.
  • newegg Dual Frame Construction Using a dual frame construction, Spectre Pro LED fans not only offer aggressive looks, but also vibration dampening properties, helping to keep noise levels in check. In short, Spectre Pro LED Fan Series looks different because it is.
  • newegg Reinforced Fan Blades High rotation speeds can actually warp fan blades while in motion, resulting in more turbulence and noise. Spectre Pro LED features reinforced fan blades that resist warping even when spinning at high speeds for maximum cooling performance.
  • newegg Focused Airflow All the airflow in the world won't do you any good if it can't reach your system's hotspots. The special curved design of Spectre Pro LED fan blades and cage directs airflow in a focused column, minimizing diffusion and allowing cool air to reach your components.
  • newegg Silent Operation and Long Life Like the Spectre LED Silent Fan Series, the Spectre Pro LED features the very same fluid dynamic bearing technology for minimum noise and maximum operating life.
  • newegg Multiple Colors Available No two setups are alike, which is why Spectre Pro LED comes in a variety of LED colors. Spectre Pro LED's inner ring is also color matched to the LED color for a unique look.

4 out of 5 eggsLove the Spectre Pro series...BUT...

Pros: Moves a massive amount of air compared to my stock 200mm Thermaltake fans that came with my case. (Thermaltake Core V71)
Glorious green LED to match my 3 120mm BitFenix Spectre Pro's.
Quiet
Fan feels soild

Cons: Alright....I have several gripes with this fan. First off, with all the screw hole options on the mounting bracket, it's much bulkier than i expected it to be. Because of that, i had to cut a few corners (not literally...almost) and not put the fans where i wanted them to be. Prior to this I had the 2 stock thermaltake fans uptop (200mm...originally had 3 in the case but 1 died and 1 more started) and they fit fine. Both of the BitFenix fans would not....1 would barely line up correctly. Granted my case has a bunch of snap points but if the mounting bracket was customizable or able to be mounted without the bracket and some other way, it would have worked fine.

What i wound up doing was putting 1 of the 200's in the front and a 120 below it. On the top i put 1 200 towards the back of my case, it's currently being held in by 2 screws and one corner of the unscrewed portion has 2 rubber washers under it to keep the fan from clicking and another 120 next to it. Obviously not ideal but its working and as i stated above it moves a massive amount of air compared to what was in there.

This is a small complaint but there are no air flow lines, i put lines on my 120's so i knew the direction but still....instead of putting BITFENIX on all 4 sides...skip a side and give me some arrows. Also wouldn't mind seeing a nicer power cable, the thermaltake's had a nice sleeve on them and the wire felt durable. For such a big fan (and at $20.00) a bit more of a chunky cable would be nice as well.

Other Thoughts: I can't give this product a 3 based on my cons though. Despite the cons the fan is still great, I've had my 3 120mm BitFenix pro's now for a couple of years and their still kicking and doing great. I blame my case a bit for being so dam huge and having so many snap points but i don't think that 7 screw hole options per corner is necessary either. I do recommend the fan but i advise, make sure you check how your fans are going to be laid out. In my situation i got it to work but some cases might not like the bulky corners of this fan.

I had also read on a few other reviews that people were having issues with the LED's (melting wires and not working). I have both of them in a fan controller that's built into the tower, i checked the wires periodically for a few minutes while it was running and didn't notice any temperature difference. My fan controller won't shut the LED's anymore but it will slow them down (fan high, fan low, led on/off options). It's a normal 3 pin power cable, same as my last 200's, i'm not sure if people we're disconnecting the LED wire and running it off separate or what the issue is but i can say that i have not see (nor do i expect to see) any issues with over heating wires.

4 out of 5 eggsA 'Bit' flimsy...get it?)

Pros: -200mm
-moves lots of air
-pleasant emerald shade of green

Cons: -fan feels cheaply built. literally almost fell apart in my gentle hands. had to carefully 'snap' parts of the outer case back together. -1egg
-noise. fan is quite loud at full speed. uncomfortably loud. i simply switched the fan lo lower voltage, and therefor lower spin speed, and noise went away. no eggs taken

Other Thoughts: I wish the build quality would be a bit more solid. As far as 200mm i would buy this fan again.

4 out of 5 eggsSpecs could be misleading

Pros: Love the green color. The smoked gray/green body helps darken it up a bit too. They do move a decent amount of air. Ideally, unless you want them to always be lit, you do need a fan controller with the ability to toggle using the separate lighting connector. Very rigid construction.

Cons: The specs on this unit are impressive, but having tested it for myself I feel as if they may not be quite what they are advertised. I feel especially in terms of static pressure for example, that the listed values are in actuality higher than what the fans are performing at.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans, amazing airflow!

Pros: These things push some serious air! Keeping my computer nice and cool with no issues so far. For the darker frame, I didn't expect the LEDs to be so bright, but they definitely stand out, and I love it! Speaking of the frame, it looks tough and has the performance to back it up!

Cons: A little loud compared to what they're replacing, but that's to be expected with the higher airflow. Not to mention, I'm not using the included 7v adapter. Not enough of a complaint to lose an egg.

Other Thoughts: I bought these fans to replace some CoolerMaster 200mm fans that were mounted on the top portion of my HAF X. One of my fans starting clicking so I decided to try a different brand. (Plus these were green!) I read complaints about mounting troubles or the blades scraping the frame, but so far, I haven't had any problems. Putting the cover back on was the only tough part which just took a bit of finesse. After that, it's smooth sailing.

2 out of 5 eggsTo much of a hassle

Pros: Preforms as described.

Cons: Pretty load at times. To put it in your case more than likely you will need to fan the plastic on the fan to make it fit. Which of course will make the casing not as strong. You may even here rattling sounds because some of the support is gone. Also the rubber pull threw "hold downs" are useless unless they give you the long ones. Bought 6 fans and only got 1 pack of long hold downs, the rest where the short ones shich are COMPLETELY useless.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy there products ever again. Wasted $120 for fans that you have to chop up just to get them to fit in ANY case. I tried them in 6 different cases...

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Green
Moves a fair amount of air
Initially didn't seem as loud as some reviews claimed but I never got a chance to game with it

Cons: No arrows to indicate which side was intake or outtake
One of the LEDs was DOA

Other Thoughts: I bought this fan because it was the only green 200mm fan I could find. If color isn't an issue, the Cooler Master megaflow is a great alternative.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Fans, touchy mounting

Pros: Superbly quiet, and great airflow.

Cons: Mounting Brackets can make installing them a little difficult depending on the case (see HAF 922 story below).

Other Thoughts: 4 Eggs instead of 5 for the confounded mounting brackets.

I installed these in a Coolmasters HAF 922 case to replace the dying stock 200mm's that it came with, and both of them will have the mounting brackets ultimately be in the way of something upon attempting to reinstall. The top exhaust will bump into the Motherboard plate, and the front won't line up with the top holes.

For the top one, I just used some garden snips and cut off all of the holes that were not needed (it's easier than it sounds actually), then it fit quite nicely in the opening where the 200mm fan is supposed to fit in the motherboard plate.

For the front one, I ended up just drilling two holes into the case for the top holes to line up properly and garden snipped a couple of holes away for the front panel to be placed back in properly.

Overall, it really wasn't hard to install them, but just made the process a bit trickier and much longer to do. So, if you don't mind adding a couple of new holes to your case, and snipping some unnecessary bracket holes away, then these will do the job at cooling quite nicely.

4 out of 5 eggsMaybe not everyone but, me

Pros: Great looking fan. The LED's are solid and the black green combo goes great with with black and green Phantom case. Moves a decent amount of air at a forcefulness that seems good for a 200 mm fan.

Cons: You can hear the fan for sure. I know there are more silent fans out there, but don't get me wrong, it's not that bad. Just saying there are more silent options.

Other Thoughts: I give it a thumbs up. Pros over cons.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes not Fit in HAF 912

Pros: Fans look great and I would bet they work great too.

Cons: This fan did not fit in my HAF 912 case. This case does have 2 slots for 200MM fans but because these fans have the extra screw holes you can see on the sides they would not fit in the case.
