5 out of 5 eggsFits HAF 932

Pros: Nice appearance, LED's are not too bright, fits the front 230mm mount in Cooler Master HAF 932

Cons: None, really. Don't know why I can't leave this blank.

Other Thoughts: You have to take apart the front panel to install it in this particular case. It has a FAN_LED cable but I'm not sure what it's for. It's a jumper/switch, not a power input, so don't hook it up unless you are sure you won't fry anything. I just left the jumper on mine. Might mod the case with a little switch for it later.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away!

Pros: -Has good airflow
Read Con's, since I have no way of using my LED to this fan now, thus making the purchase pointless for me anyways.

Cons: I plugged in the LED light strip with the rest of my LED lights connected.. Difference is, with this one.. The LED power connector, the entire power strip, started smoking and burning, did an immediate power switch on my PSU and checked inside, the cable for the LED strip was completely fried, bubbled up, and isn't working now.. I will NEVER buy from BitFenix again. I am now stuck with a fan with no LED light that I paid $25 bucks to get... Lovely right?

Other Thoughts: The rubber screws for the fan do NOT fit the holes in the CoolerMaster HAF X full tower case, be aware of that as you will need to use the metal screws. (No issues with that though because there is no vibration for me at least.)

5 out of 5 eggsLove this fan

Pros: Huge fan that can spin lower RPM and move a ton of air. The color is awesome and more green than other fans I've owned that were a yellow hue. I used the fan as front intake in a Prodigy case and it lowered temps inside my case drastically while supplying tons of fresh air for the rad at the top of the case and my video card.

Cons: Didn't have room for more than 1

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade

Pros: Highest airflow for its size on Newegg. Installation was easy. Includes an LED plug that can be connected to a switch to turn the LEDs on/off. Fit front air intake on my HAF X case without any modification.

Cons: Not a con important enough to take an egg off for, but a fan of this size should really have more than 4 LEDs

Other Thoughts: I upgraded the front intake fan on my HAF X case with this fan. Performs far better than the stock Cooler Master fan the case came with, which are only rated at 110 CFM. GPUs even run a little cooler. The included LED plug attaches to the LED on/off switch on the HAF X without issue.

5 out of 5 eggsfits Coolermaster 932 adv

Pros: Quiet and great looking.
quiet, much less noise when replacing my stock fans.

i replaced stock fans on my case with these for thier looks and for thier better air flow. I am not dissapointed.

I wrote this review for Johnny and others whom read this review and his.

Johnny is a stand up guy, he just dosent know his case as well as he should.

This and other bitfenix fans fit the 932adv with no problems.

when mounting in the front you must remove your top IO panel and then pull off the side vents/rails on the front of the case and boom, 4 perfectly macthing 230mm mount holes.

I have mounted the top 230 and the side in the CM 932 with out issues as well.

A 140mm bitfenis on the rear exhaust and i stuck in a 120mm on the bottom of the case by the powersupply.

there are no issues with CM 932 cases. dont shy away. you will enjoy your purchase.

Cons: you must thread the holes before attempting to mount in case.

unless your useing the silent rubber snubbers.

the plastic is so tough that threading the hold makes the fan look as if it is going to break. you will need to support it with your fingers or something, the plastic does have alot of flex and i did not have any issues just have to muscle the screws in and out before you mount in case.

better yet, if your a CM haf 932 owner your top and side screws for stock fans are selt tapping and will slice right into the plastic.
though the self tapping screws makes a horrible noise, you are not hurting anything, and they will turn into the fan much easier than the screws provided by bitfenix.

Watch the package, i bought 5 total bitfenix fans and only 2 of the 5 had all the advertised mounting hardware. i sm not knocing anything off because sent a quick note to the fine folks at bitfenix and the issue is resolved.

ony my CM 932 i noticed the holes for the rubber snubbers are large, you can easily pull the sunbber through the mount hole on the case. or at lease on my case, your experience may differ.

Other Thoughts: if you dont have a haf case get your self to lowes or where ever sells hardware, and pick up a couple of self tapping screws to thread your holes, your life will be much easier from then on.

or use the silent rubber snubbers and washers, I hear they work well.

4 out of 5 eggsBitFenix Spectre Pro 230mm Green LED Case Fan

Pros: Sweet fans. Move a lot of air and they're quiet. And they're green. How much better can it get?

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsBitFenix sets a new standard

Pros: -Extremely durable
-LED colors are clean
-Lots of different mounting options
-Cable is quite long

Cons: -Some have issues mouting it, I had little
-Very hard to get
-Mounting holes were not pre-threaded
-3pin(its a chassis fan, I don't need PWM)

Other Thoughts: This fan and this company are top notch. I had minor difficulty mounting this to my side panel, but that was only because the design of my AZZA Genesis 9000 side panel. Overall, it is mounted just fine and is causing me no problems. This thing blows a good steady amount of air but not at a high density; thats what smaller fans are for. Word of advise, pre-thread the holes while it is in your hand before trying to mount it and thread each hole as you go.

BitFenix has blown me away with the quality of their fans. The Spectre Pro series is the best quality fans I have ever seen. They are extremely quite, extremely durable and just overall awesome. It is no wonder that Newegg has trouble keeping this brand in stock. They are a company from England, I believe. I love Newegg, but if they are out of stock... search somewhere else. These fans are worth it.

3 out of 5 eggsMounting Nightmare

Pros: The fan looks cool. It pushes a ton of air and it's also very quiet. I can't even hear the thing. Doesn't vibrate that much at all either, which is good because...

Cons: Mounting this thing with the screws is a nightmare. The screwholes are not threaded out of the factory, so as you're screwing in a screw, you are threading it at the same time. This of course can lead to a screw getting stuck before it's fully in, which happend to me, and now there's no way to remove said screw without breaking the frame. Luckily I used one of the rubber washers to off set how much the screw was sticking out, and this thing doesn't vibrate at all, so fortunately it doesn't really matter. Also, since you are threading the screwholes while screwing in a screw, you have to apply a significant amount of torque, which makes the outter frame bend far beyond what is comfortable from the inner frame.

Other Thoughts: If they took the time to pre-thread the screwholes at the factory so screws don't get stuck or the outter frame doesn't break, this would have been a perfect fan.
