Pros: good price...all black color....and think stats are close to accurate...

1 out of 5 eggsmakes screeching noise. unusable

Pros: looks nice

Cons: makes really loud and irritating very high pitch screeching sound. it still runs but there is no way i can use this on a build,

Other Thoughts: i have many bitfenix products, ive bought alchemy molex to 3pin adapters, two phenom mATX cases, and fans from bitfenix. and im usually pretty satified with them except for this time. i basically gave them 11.99 for no reason.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive PWM fan

Cons: Noisy

Other Thoughts: I recently purchased a Bitfenix Prodigy (awesome case BTW) that came with the Bitfenix Spectre 120mm 1000rpm fans. Those fans are really quiet and move a decent amount of air but I wanted to take advantage of PWM capability of my MB (ASUS P8Z77-I) and get the fans even quieter by running them around 800rpm. I liked the regular Bitfenix Spectre so much that I decided to try the PWM variant of these fans.

Very disappointed. As soon a I plugged them in I immediately noticed a loud and annoying "clicking" sound with a little hum to go with it.
On top of that, the Fan Expert software for the MB wouldn't run the speed test on them and the lowest it allowed me to run them at was 40% which equated to ~1050rpm, same as the non-PWM versions. At the same speed the non-PWM and PWM versions both move the same amount of air but the PWM is way louder. Though such opinions are subjective, sound output is more that just DB level. The tonal quality with the humming and clicking of the PWM version was just unacceptable for me.
I'm going to just stick with the regular Spectre fans, which are great, and perhaps under volt them with some leftover speed-reducer fan cables from my Noctua fans.

5 out of 5 eggsNice fans

Pros: Seem to move more air than quoted, at least compared to other major fan brands;, antec, Coolermaster, scythe, delta, etc.

PWM capable, easy to drive at whatever speed you want.

Cons: A little noisier than quoted at max rpm. I don't know where they take their measurments from, but it is louder than 22db a weighted full speed 1 meter. 25db is more appropriate. I don't have an isobaric chamber or anything, but i have a well calibrated meter lol. Still very very quiet for the amount of air that is coming out of it, very impressed with that.

Other Thoughts: I would buy again. I see they are gone now, but for the price I haven't made a better fan purchase. Very very quiet for the volume of air they move. I can feel it from 15ft away on my bed when it is pointed at me, which is pretty good.
