These fans have been specifically developed to deliver significant airflow while maintaining low noise levels. Silent Series R2 fans are available in sizes from 40mm up to 140mm.

All new Silent Series R2 fans are equipped with high performance hydraulic bearings, increasing both fan performance and reliability. Each fan 60mm and larger is packaged with both 4 metal screws and 4 rubber screws to ensure maximum fan-mounting options. Using the rubber screws allows mechanical decoupling from the case itself, reducing vibrations and decreasing the noise level (40 and 50mm feature metal mounting screws only).

The cable on each Silent Series R2 fan is fully sleeved for effortless cable routing and enhanced aesthetics.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Fans, Quite and Moves Air Nicely!

Pros: I purchased 8 of these fans for my case along with a fan hub. Everything was plug and play and worked like a charm.

I plugged in all my fans and tested them with the case open. It is dead silent and definitely moves air! I've noticed lower temps in my case as well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Would purchase again. I just wish they had different fan blade colors and maybe even an LED version. I'm using a blue theme in my case and my case also had 2 top fans. It would have been nice to see them lighting up the top of my case as well. However, this wont stop my from purchasing it again!

5 out of 5 eggsMounting Brackets Matter, Install Them Too

Pros: These Fans are So Quiet, I had to double check if my computer was On, after installation. I've got 6 of these in 2 PCs and I've never had a problem.

Cons: Fractal might consider including rubber washers or more of the rubber mounts.

Other Thoughts: Pro Tip: Get a Prolimatech PRO-SAM17 Samuel 17 CPU Cooler, then use a 120mm fan as CPU cooler

Product is great, buyers need to install the vibration-free rubber mounts to get max quietude. If you break the rubber mounts, go to the hardware store and get some tiny rubber washers. Minimizing vibrations from the mounting, is part of the Fractal thing here. Reviews that say these fans aren't that great, I have to assume they were not installed properly.

5 out of 5 eggsLow price for a quality product.

Pros: Low RPM adapter makes this fan nearly inaudible. Still puts out decent airflow while in low RPM.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: In the process of designing a build with Fractal parts

5 out of 5 eggsSilent and Efficient

Pros: -Silent
-Look good
-Efficient

Cons: -Only 3 Prong

Other Thoughts: I would recommend to anyone needing this size of fan. My computer doesn't have coil whine or any fan noise. All I hear is the air flowing out of my case.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite and Performance

Pros: -Very quite compared to my old case fans
-Air flow is great for the price
- I have a GTX 480 in my rig and if it keeps this card cool, they will keep anything cool.

Cons: - None to be seen.

Other Thoughts: -Fans quietly hum while on. (Not a bad thing just a noise level idea for the product)

5 out of 5 eggsDecent enough.

Pros: Seem to push a bit of air. VERY quiet, which is what I was aiming for. Comes with rubber screws; I already snapped one but it lasted through 3 re-mounts while I was trying to get the cord position right, and I wasn't exactly light-handed about putting them through the fan holes (ug), so I'd say they're pretty good quality screws.

Cons: None that I can think of for the $10 I paid for each one.

Other Thoughts: I guess these being 1200rpm that I can only ask for so much airflow, so I won't complain much about it not feeling like a hard jet like with the 70-cfm Cooler Master ones (my usual go-to when not worried about noise), which I thought were quiet before trying these things. Then again, these are ridiculously more quiet, and using a 65W TPD i5 and plugging a GTX970 into my rig in the future, 3 of these on intake will definitely do the trick. I'd definitely recommend them whenever they're on sale.
