5 out of 5 eggsYes!

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: Very impressed. Built quality is nice in the hands. Quiet, great pressure, black

Cons: Heavy. Holy cow, weigh easily three times what a cheapo 120mm fan weighs.

2 out of 5 eggsNot impressed, in fact disapointed. Over hype. Poor performance

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: Heavy, built quality felt good, quiet even at max RPM (~1800). Min RPM is low (~450), which is a good thing IMO for a quite PC

Cons: Replacement fan used on Zalman CNPS10X heat sink. Mounting pad reduce vibration. Extreme quiet at idle 450rpm. Still relatively quiet at max 1800rpm.

Other Thoughts: - Replacement fan used on Zalman CNPS10X heat sink. First, mounting is an issue. fan clip won't work with this fan by default. Some mod is needed.
- Poorer performance compared to LEPA VORTEX 12 PWM (LPVX12P)
- With both fan, my CPU, according to CPUID HW monitor, at 33C
- With Prime95 running Small FFT, Fractal fan give 75C at max 1800rpm. LEPA is 71C at its max 1600rpm. Lepa is 200rpm slower and 4C cooler.
- If you plan to use it on heasink similar to CNPS10x, then save your money and get Lepa.

Overall, disappointed. Returning to newegg will incur restocking fees. I don't know what to do now

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome quiet fan

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: High pressure
Very Quiet
Braided cable
Vibration-dampening corners
Comes with 4 pin PWM splitter
High build quality

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: Used two of these fans in push pull on my 212 Evo and was amazed at how quiet both were at 100% speed. I can hardly tell when my fans jump up to 100% speed. Adding to help quiet the fan are the rubber mounts that absorb a lot of vibration.

The cables are also some thing to note, instead of just being just your standard 4 conductor flat wire they protected the wire with a plastic braid and used heat shrink tubing to secure the ends. Also included is the 4pin splitter or Y adapter allowing you to plug in two fans into a single four pin PWM socket.

I would absolutely buy these again.

5 out of 5 eggsComparable to Noctua

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: First thing is that these fans from Fractal are extremely well built (the pictures don't show the build quality). Secondly the anti-vibration mounting is very nice if not somewhat difficult to thread, but it really only took an extra minute or so to mount these. Third is the PWM control, I love being able to control how fast my fans spin and at which temps to speed up at. Fourth is that they are quiet, I mean really quiet. Comparing them to the Noctua NF-F12 and Be Quiet! PureWings they are every bit as quiet as either and their airflow is just somewhat short of Noctua and outright wins against Be Quiet!. If you're looking for a great fan that is black, silent, static-pressure optimized, and is very affordable compared to Noctua then this is the fan for you.

Cons: The only thing I can even point to is the anti-vibration mounting on the fan. It is kind of difficult to thread, but really doesn't make a difference in the long run.

Other Thoughts: With these being part of series that includes 120mm and 140mm in both static pressure and airflow models you should have no trouble finding a fan to fit your needs. For reference I use two 140mm HP series for front intake, two 120mm HP series to radiator cooling, and one 140mm AF series for exhaust and they keep my system cool and quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic & Quiet fan

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: -Quiet - Can run at low RPM

Cons: -None as of now.

Other Thoughts: I used this fan to replace the stock Hyper 212 EVO fan. This is much quieter!

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, Very Solid

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: +Fantasic build, with little room for air to escape out of the sides. Premium feel
+Quiet compared to most 120mm pressure optimized fans, with PWM control. No noticeable PWM "voltage" noises
+Braided, lengthy cable.
+Packed with black screws, and a single 2-to-1 PWM splitter

Cons: -Really pressure optimized? I don't feel much air through my H105 in just push configuration, but the H105 is a thicker radiator.

Other Thoughts: These are awesome fans. I purchased 4 for a push/pull config for my H105. At first I was only using 2 in pull, expelling air out of the top of my case. The air certainly was warm, but I felt no air being pulled from the bottom of the radiator.

CPU temps on my i5-3570k overclocked slightly to 4.2Ghz, were ranging idle at 34-40C, at load using Prime95 it would range from 66-69C sometimes hitting 70C at ambient 29C in my Thermaltake Suppressor F3. By adding the second two in push/pull, my temps basically just dropped about 2C without adding extra noise. Worth it? Not right now, but during summer when it gets hotter (I have no A/C), it should certainly help.

Overall, great fans, nice heavy premium feel to them. Doesn't add too much noise to my case. Love the braided cables and their length. PWM splitters are very much welcome.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fans For Radiator? a Must Buy

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: I have to say, i am very impressed by the performance of this fans, i have use them to replace the corsair sp 120 high performance on the h100i, very Quiet and stunning performance.... what else can i say.. well i build gaming/editing computers and so far i have built 3 systems using this fans as intake exhaust and radiators, could have not made a better choice...
@FractalDesignTeam It will be nice if you could make some All White fans So i don't have to paint them :)

Cons: Only Con is that they only have Black Color...... Make Some All White! :)

Other Thoughts: No technology is perfect, and yes maybe few fans will be delivered to a customers defective,
but other then that this fans are solid...Youtube me kreeper24

4 out of 5 eggsWas exactly what I needed.

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: Placed in the bottom of my Raidmax Narwhal case, as in intake fan, it helps cool my R9 290x by about 2 degrees Celsius, which is impressive given how much heat those GPUs are known to produce.

Cons: n/a

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Radiator Fan, Great Price

This review is from: Fractal Design Venturi High Pressure Series PWM 120mm Fan

Pros: -Quiet at idle and moderate load
-Moves a lot of air
-Cables are a good length and the sleeving is a nice touch
-Comes with a PWM splitter cable
-Feels like a high quality item
-Very competitive pricing
-It's a PWM fan, my Sabertooth 990fx has no problem controlling it, unlike the Corsair SP120's which it wouldn't detect the RPMs

Cons: Can get a little noisy at high rpm's but it's airflow noise, not bearing. I'm sure if I was able to mount it in a push configuration with the fans inside the case the sound would be muffled by the rad.

Other Thoughts: For the money, these fans are great for your radiator setup or mounted against HDD cages where static pressure fans are needed. If the Noctua NF-F12 is out of your price range, this is the next best thing.
