2 out of 5 eggsTerrible Product

Pros: Bright LEDs...

Cons: Cheap, doesn't move much air at all, worset clipping mechanics, it basically clips directly on the the RAM sticks not like other products that use the motherboard memory clips to anchor. Covers about two sticks of memory and only if they are side by side making this device very small. Also the way the power cords for all three fans is fused together with heat shrink wrap makes me worry since the cable is obviously so close to my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I bought the CORSAIR CMXAF2 to replace this product, but as I wrote the review for that product as well, its not the first time I've had bearing/fan noise problems from Corsair memory coolers. Possibly going with OCZ memory cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsHeat spreaders in the way?

Pros: Looks good and cools well.

Cons: adds noise.

Other Thoughts: If your ram has heat spreaders and it is preventing a proper install of the fans, remove the heat spreaders.

4 out of 5 eggsKind of fit for me

Pros: Cools my ram seems to have stopped crashes when overclocking, nice blue Led's.

Cons: Didnt fit for me, had to alter the cooler and use electric tape to secure it on, this is mainly due to my having to use four sticks on my mb for 4 gig, but the design could still be better.

Other Thoughts: Not bad ram is cool to the touch, just needs a diffrent way to attach to the ram, they should take a cue from the dominator fan and this would be a fantastic buy.

4 out of 5 eggsMEMORY COOLER WORKS

Coming Soon!

Pros: The memory cooler looks nice, works well and quite. THe cool blue ice lighting from 3 LEDs per fan fits the design style of my new system build. The leds are not to bright or to dull.

Cons: Out of the packaging the memory cooler did not fit my memory modules. After making some alterations I have two sets of these coolers doing their job. Vista Ultimate has stop crash due to RAM overheating.

Other Thoughts: I'm using an Intel DX48BT2 motherboard. The mainboard came with an adapter so a fan could be attached to the northbridge chipset heat sink. Once I had one of these memory coolers altered--I affixed the heatsink/fan adapter and one memory cooler unit now serves the northbridge chipset-- the additional memory cooler hovers over the 8GB of RAM modules just a front the NB setup. Picture a reverse 'L'. I haven't yet read actul temp around this area of the motherboard yet--but to my hand feels like the inside of a fridge.

4 out of 5 eggsUseful

Pros: Sort of fits onto any RAM. I couldn't get the clips to work exactly like they are designed to on my RAM's heatspreaders, but they did hold the cooler unit onto the RAM nonetheless. The cooler is very light weight and as long as you can wedge the holder clip in there somehow, it will stay in place unless you carry your PC around a lot. The airflow from the fans DOES cool the RAM. The fan is very quiet- I can't hear it at all outside the case. It seems well made, and is pretty inexpensive. It's fairly compact and should fit into most computers.

Cons: I don't need the blue LEDs really. Be nice if I could turn them off. Also be nice if there was some other way to clip the unit onto the RAM.

Other Thoughts: You can never be too cool.

4 out of 5 eggswhy u came here

Pros: ABSOLUTELY SILENT - NO FAN NOISE

Cons: Clips are useless for MY system, discarded - they were at best CHEE ZEE; fitted slot 'tween m idline with non conductive tape on inserted slot and secured with contour sensitivly the unit to the ram units with blacktape.

As an OEM I probably cud not charge u what it cost me to install it on my own system.

Other Thoughts: Be advised, Kingston sez: attach anything to our units, warranty (lifetime) is void,(in my case 8Gb of HyperX cud be substantial). This should be no problem as a bit of CarbonTet will remove any trace of blacktape sticky.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great & Bright Blue

Pros: Worked great in my SuperMicro Server MB. I took the clips off and they actually somewhat snapped in between two DDR2 chips. I used 2 of these for all 8 DDR2 chips. The LEDs (functionally irrelevant) are a very bright blue.

Cons: Don't much care for the clips that come with it. Seem really flimsy. Not a big deal since I didn't use them anyway.

Other Thoughts: "Snapping" them inbetween the chips seemed to hold snug enough for horizontal server placement. However, I used these also with the Thermaltake CL-R0026 RAM heatsinks. These fans fit quite snuggly between the DDR2 chip and the strange Thermaltake pipe & fins that float above.
