4 out of 5 eggsDecent Cooler

Pros: Northbridge fan seems solid, and keeps my chipset from overheating.

Cons: Not loud, but it gives off a little *whirrrr*

Other Thoughts: I did not use the other heatsinks, I just used the northbridge fan to replace the stock cooler that died on my k9n4 motherboard. It just barely fits underneath my 9800gtx+ but it gets the job done.

5 out of 5 eggsCool and quiet.

Pros: It does what you buy it for, it lays flat on my mobo so I can put a card over the top of it. It's not copper but it doesn't need to be for just a northbridge, and I paid 5 bucks for it on sale so I feel i got what I paid for. I can't tell you how good the thermal compound or thermal tape are though since I used zalman thermal grease (paid more for it than the cooler.)

I guess if you need the extra heatsinks they are there, but I just wanted to crossfire and I had giant heatsink in the way of my x1 slot so I put this on and put my sound card in the x1 slot.

Cons: It doesn't fit quite right on my ASRock northbridge out of the box without me having to fiddle with it, but no skin off my back since i just had to wiggle the posts into place and push, everything seats, but just not as easily as I'd have liked. Don't get me wrong it dosen't affect performance, just wasn't as easy as it could have been, but it only took two minutes.

Other Thoughts: If you are debating between this one and a more expensive chipset cooler (some get upwards of 29.99) I would tell you to ask yourself what the ambient temp is in your case. If that answer is something absurd like 80C because you have four GPUs in a lanbox or something then you may need to buy the copper slim heatsink/fan combo they sell here for way too much. If you are like the majority of us who build in towers this will work just fine look fine do its job and save yourself some cash to spend on thermal grease and a case fan or something.

Maybe an issue of PC gamer, or OH OH the midweek madness sale on steam.

But seriously this is great for the money.

3 out of 5 eggsA little much for what you get

Pros: Works as a good replacement for Nvidia's NF4 NB chip set and still provide a low profile for GPU cards.

Cons: The fan is only a 2 wire fan, no RPM feed back to MB

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Replacement

Pros: This was a perfect match for my aging MSI K8N Neo2-F 939 NVIDIA nForce3 Ultra ATX AMD. If you are careful you do not need to remove your motherboard from the case. Just use cutters to remove your existing pongo clips holding your existing fan. Install new fan. Easy. It is not quite as noisy as the OEM fan, but not "silent" like the fan is described.

Cons: The first time I booted up my system after install the fan would not move and it was making a loud buzzing noise. After I flicked the fan blades it started up and runs just fine. I need to do this each time I boot up. I am trying to get a replacement from VIZO, but who knows.

Other Thoughts: It is cheap. Does the job when you have an AGP card over the fan. there are many posts here where others have the same problem....it failing. If you get a good one...great, but if you get a bad one...you take a risk.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent replacement fan

Pros: It fits my old EVGA 939 mATX board. It turns on and cools. 3 pin connector.

Cons: No throttle control wire.

Other Thoughts: Not bad for the price and it worked just fine. I didn't use any of the provided heatsinks. They seem to be a little cheesy, but I think they would work just fine. Careful when dispensing the thermal compound. I blasted about half of it out in one shot. Haha.

2 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: This chipset cooler works as advertised. It's quiet and looks neat.

Cons: I had to dremmel off part of this unit in order to make it fit on my mobo(which I think is standard size). The mounting pins actually sit about 1/8inch farther apart than the holes on my mobo are, making this a fairly pain-in-the-a-hole product.

Other Thoughts: If
you're not worried about improperly spaced mounting pins Then
buy this
Else
Don't

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap. Fast shipping. Got the job done (while it worked)

Cons: Made a buzzing sound at start up after a few months. After another two months or so the fan finally died.
