5 out of 5 eggsReplacement

Pros: Needed to replace a AM2+ processor motherboard (died) without the cost of upgrading the memory, processor and other hardware. Replacement was easy, no problems with Win XP Pro rebuilt the system without any problems, and all the memory and processors worked without a problem. Tried it also with a AM3 processor no problems.

Cons: none I could see, did what it was advertised to do.

Other Thoughts: Only new board I could find that would allow me to use AM2+ processor, DDR2 memory etc without major changes. The girls I rebuilt the system for were very happy.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet fan, moves a decent amount of air

Pros: Fan is quiet and moves a nice amount of air. Comes with rubber mounts.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This fan was a nice addition to a custom bracket I got. Got a nice H50 running my HD 6950 :) Yes, CPU cooler on a GPU.

5 out of 5 eggsDead Silent!

Pros: Rubber mounts included. Good air flow. Dead silent.

Cons: Would be nice if they included a 4 pin molex adapter with this fan.

Other Thoughts: Installed one of these in a Dell Precision T3400 as a rear exhaust fan. I tried other fans I had laying around from Silver Stone and Antec first but all were too loud when compared to the quiet fans that Dell uses. I used GELID fans in a custom rig for a friend in the past and remembered how silent they were so I purchased one of these for the Dell. Installed the fan with the included rubber mounts, power it up, and I can not hear the thing at all! It's running though a 3 to 4 pin molex adapter right to the power supply, so it's running at full speed all the time. Think I will be buying many more GELID products in the future!

5 out of 5 eggsNice and quiet

Pros: Very quiet for a midsized fan. Replaced the 80mm that came with my case with this 92mm (case had both mounting points) and couldn't be happier. Starts up fine at the lowest setting on my board.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsNice fan, Good noise level

Pros: Put this in a home office machine for a client, was using a cheap HEC case which only had room for a 92mm fan.

This fit the bill. Was much nicer quality than the stock fan - less noise, and more air.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsWould not startup

Pros: None

Cons: Would not work with Intel motherboard. Startup default motherboard too low. If spun up by hand it would run at 400 rpm's.

After one insertion plug contacts relieve and are then lose when reinserted.

3 out of 5 eggsVery quiet, kind of wimpy

Pros: This fan is super quiet.
The rubber installation pegs (I would say) are very intuitive and easy to use-- easier than trying to use little screws.

Cons: But don't expect it to perform like fans that run faster-- it's a low speed fan and I have to stick my hand right next to it to even feel it blowing at all. It blows maybe 20-30% of the air that my louder 2600 rpm fans blow...

Other Thoughts: The attachment cable (3 wires) is made to run to a motherboard, though I cut them and used as bare wire leads (as I installed in my RAID cabinet as opposed to a PC).

I have 4 fans in my RAID-- I replaced 2/4 with these to cut down on noise, but still feel like I need a couple in there that do more work.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan for Price

Pros: Comparative to Scythe 92mm fans in terms of performance and noise level but half the price. Power wire is nicely wrapped for clean look.

Cons: Maybe include some standard metal fan mount screws in addition to the plastic snaps, but no problem, I didn't need them anyways.

Other Thoughts: Works nicely on Thermalright HR-03 Rev.A VGA cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsnice fan

Pros: Nice looking, quiet, comes with quiet mounts.

Cons: No instructions/clear instructions.

Other Thoughts: The quiet mounts are made out of rubber. It would've been nice if the manufacturer included some information about installing them because at first it wasn't real obvious what to do. Don't get me wrong, round pegs fit in round holes, but I was afraid I may pull them apart trying to install them. But no, just for clarity (and only my experience) grab them and pull really hard and the'll pop through the holes.
