5 out of 5 eggsGamer Fan-tastic

Pros: These are good fans that work well and push alot of air

Cons: I seriously cannot think of any

Other Thoughts: I bought these primarily because they were the most expensive ones I could get and generally one gets what one pays for. On another note, since I do not live in an efficiency or my parents basement, and my gaming computer is in my home office, I like loud fans because that means high performance. fans make fan sounds and alot of people on the ol' Egg here seem to be put off by that. Do people buy cows and then complain about the volume of their moos? probably, but they shouldn't.

5 out of 5 eggsabout a year later

Pros: Alright. I did a review about a tear ago in which I had this fan in a p/p on a H50. Well seasons come and go and so did many CPU's, boards, HSF's, and video cards. The one constant besides change in my rig is this fan. It's been an int. fan, ext.fan, fan 1 and 2 in a p/p setup and done it w/o a complaint. By far one of the top tier fans IMO. Still silent, still moving lots of air, and still green thanks to the easily detachable fan blades. In AZ, even with filters the fans get dusty. No problem, pop it off clean it, snap it back on! With the blue light from my other fan the Gelid blades glow green at the top of my case. Very nice effect seeing as I don't have a side window.

Cons: You haven't got it yet!

Other Thoughts: Sure is quiet!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet
Moves a lot of air
Dust resistant
Sweet color

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: Great fans. I wanted good fans to run through my water cooling radiator and these are amazing. They move a lot of air and they are silent. Much better than any other fans ive used in terms of construction and performance.

1 out of 5 eggsUhh i dont think so

Pros: none

Cons: waste of time and money, i have used other GELID fans, inlcuding the huge TRANQUILLO heatsink on my main rig....however these particular fans are HORRIBLE...they dont light up AND they are LOUD AS HE77 .

Other Thoughts: i have yet to use the standard 120mm fans on a system however i do have some on order....i def. will be sound testing those BEFORE i install them....so far all GELID PWM fans seem great...not sold on the others...i had high hopes. might end up going back to Scythe :(

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fan I've Ever Seen

Pros: Amazing fan. There's lots of goodies that come with it like vibration dampeners, adhesive and a shiny sticker. Who doesn't like shiny stickers? The fan moves a ton of air, but my case is definitely quieter now that I replaced the old Antec fans with these.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I got both this green version and a blue version. The green glows with UV light very well, but the blue's glow is barely noticeable.

5 out of 5 eggsgreen machine

Pros: What can I say; this fan is awesome. Period. I'm currently using for my H50 in a p/shroud/rad/p setup. The Gelid is the 1st fan in the group followed by a masscool. both hooked up to the gelid fan contoller. after all is said and done. it dropped another 3c off my temps.

Cons: nope!

Other Thoughts: worth the money . shop around for sales. got mine for $16.cool case sticker.

5 out of 5 eggsThe BEST fan out there

Pros: The best fan i've used to date. Quiet isn't the word, SILENT at full RPM is more accurate. Very strong air flow with practically no hot-spots.

This fan is very good at PUSHING through aluminium wire mesh filters, not quite so good at pulling, though.

The UV effect is great, esp. if you have black powder-coat inside (i don't but i used 1/4"sound-proofing so it's dark in there!).

Comes with a fan controller that does not need to be used. It's basically (like getting) a Zalman Fanmate for free. A very handy little controller, it can be used with any fan, and features easy, straight-line wiring and faom tape or screw mount. The package does not list any info about the controller, but the zalman fanmate (which looks almost identical and has the exact same dimensions) is rated at 6 watts.

Also comes with rubber soft-mounts and traditional fan screws.

The wiring is sleeved in black with a 3-pin connector.

Cons: Wish it had a 4-pin pwm connector.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: Extremely quite with great quality from Gelid. The nanoflux bearing and rubber mounts make this fan so quite you can only hear the air being moved. Dustproof and waterproof is nice too.

Cons: The fan controller is nice but not needed in my case. The price is a little high.

Other Thoughts: Going to replace all my fans with these from now on.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best fans i've ever used

Pros: Extremely quiet, and the fan reeks of quality. The Bearings are fantastic, and they don't make any noise at all. That being said, because of the bearings, they can be mounted in any way without having to worry about them wearing out prematurely.

Cons: Really expensive. Bought it for 15 bucks at another store. C'mon Newegg, what happened to your competitive prices?

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it here. Shop around other places

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: great fans. overall some of the quietest fans i have ever seen (or heard for that matter). As of now the loudest fan is on the gfx card, and no others can be heard. They push quite a bit of air, considering the noise level.

the uv-reactive green color works well in my setup. like was also mentioned, the fans are waterproof, which is very helpful in cleaning (its also fun to play with).

another bonus is the sleeved cables, which give it a much more classy look.

Cons: #1 is the fan controller. little obnoxious black box. while it worked, it really was no use as it could not be used outside the case.

#2 is the green vibe-killer bolts that are included instead of standard screws. they were a little hard to figure out and get installed, but in the end it worked. however, now i have little green spikes on the outside of the computer case, and it looks rather ridiculous. they will be replaced

Other Thoughts: overall good fans, and easily worth the money.
