4 out of 5 eggsGreat short term cooling solution.

Pros: Definitely transfers heat amazingly well for the price...

Cons: but doesn't last long. I built this gaming rig in March of 2015 and it saw very little use until this year. While the application was fresh, I saw temps of 60-65c under full load at stock 4.7ghz clock using a coolermaster 212 evo. Now, with a heavier variant, my temps are well into the 70's.

Other Thoughts: Great for a few months at best, then needs to be cleaned off and reapplied if you have a high powered rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product if you apply it correctly.

Pros: I read plenty of other reviews and what others had said. So here is what I did to get a great coat on the cpu and the waterblock.

First I heated a cup of water for 3 minutes. then I put the syringe in the cup. While it was warming up I cleaned the cpu and water block with a alcohol pad. After cleaning the parts I took my heat gun and heated up the cpu at this point I applied the compound to the cpu and spread it with the spade that came with it. I then put the water block in place and moved it around to get a final good spread before mounting it down.

If you do this you will find that its easy to spread it around. Just do not over heat the cpu while using a heat gun or blow dryer.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Price. Excellent performance, Excellent product.

Pros: I run a 4770K @ 4.6ghz 1.304Vcore, with a H105 water cooler, and I was just using the coolmaster thermal compound that came with my old Hyper 212 EVO. It worked, but I didn't realize how much of a difference a good thermal compound would make. So I did my research, and found that although this isn't the best on the market (apparently "Coollaboratory Liquid" apparently is, but its tricky to apply, more expensive, and a special order item), it was the best that was readily available from here.

Simple. It dropped my Prime 95 (large FFTs test) hottest core temp from 79c to 74c just like that, no hassle. 5c drop!
It dropped my idle temps from 31c to 24c too, 7c drop.

Very impressed, very happy.

Also put it on my MSI 980Ti Gaming 6G, dropped it a good 4c, sits around 71c max load instead of 75c while overclocked to 1484mhz core/ 4000mhz ram.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsThis is the thermal paste that the collective consciousness of the Internet reccomended to me.

Pros: I assumed Arctic Silver was the go-to thermal paste for all your thermal paste needs. I consulted the Internet to confirm this, and was corrected. The Internet has spoken, and Gelid Solutions GC-Extreme is "...probably the best thermal paste you can buy right now."

Cons: What cons?

5 out of 5 eggsCase of the Pasties!

Pros: Read the reviews and go nuts trying to find the best TIM or just buy this stuff, it works great.

Cons: Not Edible.

Other Thoughts: I don't know, stress test, CPU = cool, what's the stuff supposed to do again?

5 out of 5 eggsI'll be using this from now on.

Pros: Non-Conductive. Which is piece of mind. The conductivity of Arctic Silver 5 always made me nervous. Quite a few reviews and "round-ups" around the web proclaiming this stuff is top of the line.

Cons: I got nothing.

Other Thoughts: A lot of reviews referencing material viscosity, Gelid must have changed it, because mine was no thicker than Arctic Silver 5. I didn't use the material spreader they include, no reason to over-complicate the uncomplicated.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing as always

Pros: As good as anything on the market at a remarkably low price.

Cons: The little spatula applicator is terrible, don't even bother, 'Pea' method works fine. Won't take a star off, they don't charge you for it, and it's not required, they just give it too you.

Other Thoughts: Always get 10-20c off of anything I put it on, be it laptop, cpu or gpu. Not my first time using Gelid, and I'll be buying it until they recall it or go out of business for not selling their product for more money.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: First off, thank you for including the paste spreading tool! Such a simple thing made my life easier at install time.

Bought a 6-core i7 5930K and a Corsair H110 AIO cooler with the intention of overclocking, so I didn't want to skimp on the paste. This stuff has worked great! Seeing better temps than most people have reported with similar setups. I have been running for 6+ months and there has been no fluctuation since it first settled in.

Cons: Not going to dock anything for price because you get what you pay for with this product.

Paste is a bit thick but if you are patient, use a good technique, and use the tool, it will come out fine.

Other Thoughts: Some pastes separate into liquid and solid if they sit too long, will have to see how this looks the next time I use it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Great

Pros: My CPU cost me $340 so when it came to choosing a thermal compound the extra $7 wasn't much of a choice when it came to picking. Pea method worked and it spreads nicely. Keeps my hot headed PCs cool. The FX8350 idles around 25c and my I7 4790K around 30c. Both with mild over clocks.

Cons: Expensive for compound.

Other Thoughts: Great stuff try it
