5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Silent, and Tiny. My RAM is taller (barely), without any heat sinks on RAM.
Works flawlessly!
Fits my Mobo.
Perfect for my small form factor case.

Cons: Bracket underneath is thicker than my Zalman cooler bracket.
Bracket touches my mobo tray, no big deal.
Too small? I could use a cooler with double the height and still have room. (my bad)

Other Thoughts: Only fits one way on my GIGABYTE GA-965p-s3(rev1.0) motherboard.
Does not provide the cooling necessary to overclock.
I have Core 2 Duo E6300 at 2.13GHz, 65W.
This cooler, at 100% cpu usage, runs at 70 deg C.
at idle, 40 deg C.
These temps are 10 deg C higher than my large Zalman cooler.
But I need the small size in my new SFF case.

4 out of 5 eggsSmall Cooler

Pros: It is low htpc cooler. if space is limited great choice. Seems to cool a bit better than stock.

Cons: Needs additional fans to properly cool. by itself it would get hot.

Other Thoughts: not very loud. Not sure if I can hear it. could be case fans.

2 out of 5 eggsThere are better...

Pros: Low profile, quiet

Cons: Save your money there are much better out there. After only a few minutes I could physically see the fan wobbling. Could be something to do with the fluid bearings, but I dont' trust it. Idles at over 100 degrees F simply watching the temp in the bios on a 3 ghz dual core.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great quality! I like that it screws to the motherboard. It's small to fit. Very quiet.

Cons: Does not perform well at all. My idle temps went from 40C to 50C with my Intel Quad Core Q9550. When I put a load on playing Battlefield Bad Company the readings got as high as 80C +. My stock Intel fan our performs it hands down.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this fan. For the price and reading the reviews I expected much better. BTW I never take time out to write a review but I didn't want anyone else to waste their time and money on this product.

2 out of 5 eggsNot quiet

Pros: It is much shorter than stock, which is nice, and also does dissipate heat, like it should.

Cons: The stock cooler was actually quieter.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for an HTPC, when I took it from a mid tower case to a Lian Li DVD player looking case.

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Heatsink

Pros: Low-Profile, fit my mobo perfectly, dropped 9c over the QQ6600s stock heatsink (which isint too bad) and it is much quiter!
Easy install and Great price.

Cons: Do not know if it will work or if gelid has a 1155/1156 compatible version of this. Anyone know? Id like to get another one for my new build.

Other Thoughts: Much like 90% of heatsinks out there, yes there is a mounting plate that will require you to remove the mobo, unless you have a proper case.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed

Pros: Mounts and cools very well. It's small and sits low like I needed. I used the already applied thermal paste. It's sitting on an E8400 and Idles at 39c. Prime 95 can only get it to 49c. It's very quiet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I needed a low profile cooler to use on my GIGABYTE GA-G41MT-S2P micro ATX board to fit in an Antec Aria case with the psu very close to the cpu socket. I was worried if would fit on this board and if would perform in a tight case with poor airflow. It did fit and performs very well. Very pleased with it.

5 out of 5 eggsvery useful

Pros: Very quiet, i placed this in a two year old hp pavillion for my mom. I cant even tell the pc is on with this installed. Installation was a breeze. I would buy this fan for all my future pc building as well.

Cons: none that i can think of.

Other Thoughts: have not tried in a gaming computer yet.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: small and decent build quality

Cons: will not fit my motherboard at all...

this thing is really way too low. it sits right on the motherboard and leaves no room for the things around the cpu socket. pointless waste of money...10 bucks to return means i only get 15 dollars back...not worth it at all
