4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value for the Price of This Cooler

Pros: -Easy to install and comes with all the necessary tools to do so.
-Surprisingly not as loud as I thought it would be.

Cons: -The thermal paste that it came with was some how busted open. Luckily it was in its own bag so the clean up wasn't a big deal.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: Fan is D.O.A. The CPU fan does a quarter spin then stops. Tried disabling all devices and other fans, still failed. Tried changing the fan power port, still failed. Fiddled with cable, still failed. I highly doubt I will put in effort to ship this back. and the last thing I want is to try and trust a replacement. But I thought you should know!

Other Thoughts: Buy anything else...

5 out of 5 eggsSuper quiet

Pros: I don't overclock my server and the cooling from the stock Intel fan wasn't the issue but rather the whine that was driving me crazy. I read all the reviews and selected the Siberian for both cooling ability and quiet. I couldn't be happier. Even though I have 9 drives crammed into my case (RAID10 and mirrored backups) the processor runs cool and the fan is hardly audible.

Cons: Installation wasn't a slam-dunk but still acceptable. It took a few nanoseconds to select the attachement for my socket.

2 out of 5 eggsNot the best CPU cooler

Pros: It works for a while and it's quiet

Cons: Fan clips broke during testing. It popped off while I was taking it out of the motherboard. Would love to use it and compare it between my stock cooler but sadly the materials are cheap. The design built is not very good either.

3 out of 5 eggsBroken Fan Bracket

Pros: Very Quiet, Easy to Install

Cons: The heat sink fins are flimsy and wobble, the fan bracket that snaps into the heat sink fins was broken on arrival.

Other Thoughts: The cpu cooler arrived to my house with 2 of the 4 clips on the fan bracket broken. Seeing as I couldn't wait to get an RMA and return it because I needed my computer up and running, I decided to just fix it myself. I super glued the 2 clips back into place, which took some finess, and let the bracket sit for 24 hours just to make sure the bond was good and solid. I installed the cooler the next day and all is well. The produce does the job it was intended for, mediocre cooling, for dirt cheap... would have given it 4 stars if it hadn't come broken.
