5 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance and Quality

Pros: Above average airflow for it's size, very quiet operation.

Cons: Wires aren't color coded.

Other Thoughts: I bought a pair of these as part of a cooling upgrade to my Asus CS5111 Media Center PC. Their near silent operation allows me to run them at 90% speed and still be much quieter than the stock fans at 40%. They've been the perfect solution and I couldn't ask for better performance. The low level noise produced is more of a "whirring" rather than the lower pitched hum of my old fans and is much more pleasant to be around. Highly recommended due to very high flow rate at low decibel levels. Other fans of this size may be slightly quieter, but move less than half the air that these do. I'm very satisfied that these were the right choice now that they've been in service for a while. Money well spent and cheap insurance in the form of excellent cooling for my hard drive, motherboard, and processor. As always, Newegg delivers with fast shipping and top notch support.

4 out of 5 eggsHigh pitched and powerful

Pros: Moves a ton of air for a fan of its size.

Cons: High pitched whine.

Other Thoughts: Strong worker, but there is a high pitched whine. After a while you might not notice it.

5 out of 5 eggsVery quiet

Pros: quiet, cheap, easy installation

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Bought to replace my rickety PSU fan in my SX2840-01. Even though there were only 2 fan wires on the original fan its easy to figure out which 2 of the 3 wires on the GELID fan are needed. I didn't run into any issues during replacement.

4 out of 5 eggsThey do the job

Pros: Fairly quiet, almost unnoticeable at about 3200 RPM

Cons: At max RPMs (~4500) they emit a low intensity, high pitched whirring sound. It is not very loud and I think most would find it acceptable, but it is noticeable.

Other Thoughts: Got two of these to cool my VRMs and they have helped out. I have the fans running at less than max to keep the noise level to near inaudible.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Quiet Fan - No Rubber Mounts

Pros: Just got this fan and plugged it in to see how load it was. I can hardly hear it at all. I got this fan to replace another one that is considerable loader. I could not be happier with how quiet this fan is.

Cons: Description says that it comes with rubber fan mounts, however all that came in the box was standard metal fan screws.

In NewEgg's defense the packaging this fan comes in also claims it has rubber fan mounts when it does not. The manufacturer needs to fix their package or deliver what they promise.

Other Thoughts: I doubt the lack of rubber fan mounts will make much difference in my application. It was just a little annoying not to get what I expected.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely quiet

Pros: Very very quiet
Good amount of airflow

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought this to cool the RAMBo on my Rostock MAX 3D Printer... Works great, although I did have to drill into the melamine on the printer because the screws included with the fan weren't long enough. But since it's not an intended use for the fan I didn't dock any eggs for that. Love it overall, keeps it cool and doesn't add any noise

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely Fantastic

Pros: This fan is silent. I ordered it to replace a different failing fan (this is quite an uncommon size) on my Pentium III. For having such a high rpm. I was expecting a much louder noise or rattling. I did not hear any of that.
At 80%, the fan is silent. At 100%, it is below a whisper. I actually came back to buy their larger 120mm fans (from GELID) a few months later.

Cons: The mounting holes were either too shallow or too deep for every size screw in my house. I ended up using pliers to break a few longer screws of my own to get the fan to fit into my CPU heat spreader. To be fair though, the heat spreader is from the Pentium III era. I don't expect full compatibility with heat sinks made from 1998. I won't take an egg off for that.

Other Thoughts: If you want a quiet fan, you will probably want to add this to the list of considerations (assuming it moves enough air for you).
