1 out of 5 eggsSTAY AWAY - JUNK

Pros: It actually works..........

Cons: doesn't work well. Put this on a 69watt xeon. Processor ran in the upper 50"s and hit 65c on occasion.

Stock cooler was much better. Never went above 48c on hottest core. Gotta love those Intel heat sinks with those big copper slugs in them. If they could do something to quiet the fans....????

Other Thoughts: You hear about coil whine. always thought it had something to do with the circuitry in power supplies....... NOT.
Apparently some manufacturers have found a company that can manufacture fans for less money. In doing so they made a fan that has severe coil whine, literally tremors or vibrates with a noticeable throbbing drone and directly effects the processor because it's so bad. Fan/air movement was also loud... louder than stock.
Couldn't keep this thing in my machine for fear of destroying a valuable processor and for really not doing a better job than stock.............
Wonder what the return RMA will cost......... too much to actually want to do it probably. INSULTING!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat cooler

Pros: This pc cooler works very well, with the two heat sinks and the L shaped design not only does it cool your processor but it delivers air to your north b chipset.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This cooler is only rated to cool up to the phenom II 920 witch is a 95 watt processor, I applied it to a phenom II 965 that is a 125 watt proc. as is with the pre installed thermal paste, and i am getting 26c idle and 40c full load. very good temps for a cooler that was not recommended for a 125 watt proc. Oh one of the best things is its not the size of a brick
