2 out of 5 eggsWay overpriced, poor QA!!

Pros: They are quiet when working right.

Cons: Purchased these from another vendor for $6.99 each, $12.99 is an insane price for this fan.
The biggest problem with this fan is that there is very little clearance between the fan blade and the section of the fan wire coming out of the fan housing. If you use these fans as exhaust fans then the wire coming out of the fan will be against the case and there is a good chance the wire will hit they fan causing a clicking noise or keeping the fan from running.
You have to use a small flat bladed screw driver to bend the wire where it comes out of they fan housing outward away from the blade.
Found this out the hard way. I purchased 3 of these, 1 would not run and the other 2 made a loud clicking noise because the blade was hitting the wire. Terrible QA control.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as long lasting as it should be.

Pros: very quiet.

Cons: longevity is not what it should be. Failed after a year of service in my NAS.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet.

Cons: The included mounting screws were worthless. Too fat and too short. They didn't even fit the holes of the fan itself, let alone the PC chassis.

Other Thoughts: Great service from Newegg as usual. But you may need to make a trip to the hardware store to find properly-sized mounting screws.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet

Cons: I purchased two of these, the first one worked as advertised, the second when mounted the blades started to rattle against the frame. I double checked to make sure it wasn't the cable and it was not hitting the blades, but with how the fan is designed the cable does run between the blades and the motor, for some reason when the cable was flush with the mount it would cause the motor to bend a little causing the blades to hit the frame, if you bend the cable the opposite direction the blades would not hit the frame. I used a zip tie so the cable was going the opposite direction which allowed the fan to function correctly. Again I did not have this problem with the first one. My guess is if they used thicker plastic for the frame it wouldn't be able to bend as easily.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Pretty silent. Good airflow. Looks cool.

Cons: I ordered two. I always use my finger to give fans a free spin to test them before plugging in. The first one kept getting caught. I thought I had fixed it, but when I plugged it in, it rattled pretty badly. I found that the wires had a bit of a bend where they were coming out of the hub, and they were interfering with something in there. I used a tool to pull the wire taut and it was fine afterward.

Other Thoughts: The second fan had no issues at all. I'm not sure if this is indicative of quality control - I only have the two fans, small sample. I was pleased that it was an easy fix.

5 out of 5 eggsPurchased to replace stock CPU fan

Pros: My AMD FM2 stock cooler fan is excessively loud in my NAS box! I decided to take a chance and replace it hoping that this 70x70x15mm GELID fan (5mm thinner than the stock fan) would bring the noise level to inaudible. It did.

My main worry was that I wouldn't be able to tighten it properly to the stock CPU cooler. I ended up using the stock cooler's screws which worked perfectly. I was worried that because the GELID was 5mm thinner that the screws wouldn't tighten but I was able to screw it down until snug. The GELID is completely silent and my NAS runs nice and cool.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The stock fan that came with my AMD A6-5400K FM2 was a Foxconn PVA070E12L 4-pin fan. It's dimensions are 70x70x20mm.
