Pros: At this price point, there really aren't any other fans I recommend other than Cougars. You can pay another $5-10 premium for Noctuas, and those are undoubtedly good, or Corsairs, which are just marketing.

I personally like the orange. Even if it sticks out, it's not particularly obnoxious, and is something I still don't mind seeing through the massive window on my Air 540. Much like Noctuas, and that beige they're never going to let go of.

They move tons of air, even at relatively low RPMs, and are DEAD SILENT when pushed to the max, excluding the "whoosh" of the air; you don't hear the motor at all.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I always recommend pressure optimized fans over airflow optimized ones. Sure the latter might technically move more air, but the strength of the flow from a good static pressure fan will outperform the cooling potential of an airflow fan.

Pros: I will tell you what, these fans are absolutely amazing. Have 3 in my case and you can not hear a whisper from any of them all while they move a copious amount of air. these inspired me so much I also replaced the 120 that is on my 212 and the one on my case exhaust. These have made me a huge fan of cougar and will be buying their fans again and again

Cons: Color. orange is not my thing

Other Thoughts: do not question this too much. If you have a slot for a 140, stab one of these bad boys in there and reap the quiet rewards and air moving goodness

Pros: Very quiet and Works wonders at keeping my comp cool. Currently using 6 fans between all rigs

Pros: Silent, compared to 4-pin fans running at higher speeds in the same system.

Higher airflow and quieter performance compared to the stock rear exhaust fan it has replaced.

Other Thoughts: The wiring, while sturdy, is a tad long. Keep in mind you may have to find some way to tuck it away or around other components.

Keep in mind it is a 3-pin fan, so the speed can not be adjusted.

Being used as a rear exhaust fan, the orange color is not apparent from most vantage points, though most clients do indicate an interest in the coloring upon inspection.
- I feel that the matte finish to the fan lends to the idea of a higher quality material, as a lot of cheaper fans are made with a glossy plastic. The orange color against a black interior helps catch the eye of clients since they can clearly see it is an aftermarket fan.

Pros: Spins, moves air, does so quietly, cool mounting rubbers, orange.

Cons: The Cougar fan design does make for tough cleaning.

Pros: Excellent price. Good quality. Excellent look.

Cons: price, buying multiple fans can be expensive, but if quietness is your goal, they're worth it

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these in my case along with 6 120mm courgar vortex fans, all 8 fans are bearly audible, tried many other brands, such as phanteks, scythe, coolermaster, antec, and silenx but preferred these due to air/noise ratio
