4 out of 5 eggsCool and quiet

Pros: i like the orange
rather quiet
really cools the case

Cons: none its a fan, it spins, it moves air

Other Thoughts: The screws supplied were chrome, most cases are black these days it would be nice to have black screws, oh well i don't look at my case. If i did though, orange may not be my choice to begin with.

5 out of 5 eggsVery quiet, good airflow

Pros: very quiet operation, at 50% I cant tell they are running without looking (in a quiet house with all other fans off and only a quiet Raijintek water pump running), spins to about 1300rpm max and have good dc control as low as 25% or about 400rpm. They start consistently at 40% or 600rpm.

Still very quiet at 100% and they do move a good amount of air (especially for the noise level=next to none)

I ended up putting 2 of them on my radiator (pull setup) and being rather pleased with the results

other 2 are intake on the case front and are quiet as can be considering they are 1.5 ft from my ears

dope color scheme (even though it does not match my rig at all)

Cons: I wish they moved more air at 100% with the sacrifice of a higher max noise level (just higher power in general but they get the job done for me)

has 3 pin instead of 4 pin pwm. I use speedfan to control my fan speeds and have had no problems controlling the speeds on these fans just as good as any pwn fan.

Other Thoughts: I was going to rate these 4/5 due to my thinking that they were too weak for the radiator on my raijintek triton aio. I was wrong, they dont keep things quite as cool as the jet engine like fans that come with that cooler, but they keep my i7-4790k below 70c at 100% cpu load with VERY little noise at all. stays below 50c playing far cry 4 on ultra. Honestly I wasnt really worried about my computer being that quiet under load but now that it is, I love it!!

Great fans, especially for the 4 pack price that I got

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality and quiet

Pros: After all 4 of my Cooler Master sickle flow fans failed within 4 months, I figured I would give these a try because my case is also the cougar brand and the case fan is the only fan that has held up. I'm glad I did. I use these fans on an intake vent, exhaust and 2 on my cooler Master hyper t4, because that fan was starting to go as well. They move a heck of a lot of air and at max, they do kinda whine, but it's not all that loud, you won't be able to hear them 10 ft away.

Cons: Zip.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: >Quiet
>Move lots of air
>Great value pack (especially when on sale)

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: I am using 2 of these as replacement fans on a corsair H80i water cooler and they work great (much quieter than the stock fans and slightly more efficient at moving air). Anyone who complains cougar fans are loud has never heard real loud fans. Great noise level for how much air these push.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans, color is questionable

Pros: Great airflow-to-noise ratio. While not completely silent, I have to get within about two feet before I can notice them, and that's with my case open. These fans do a wonderful job of keeping my case cool, too - I use them as bottom intake and rear exhaust.

Cons: Orange isn't my favorite color to see, but that's hardly a con when my case is closed and no window.

Other Thoughts: While I cannot comment on their effectiveness on a radiator, these fans pull a good amount of air through the filters on my intakes.

If you're looking for a quiet/silent PC, these fans should work for you. Of course, other important considerations in a quiet PC are the case, positioning, sound dampening materials/mounts, CPU/GPU heatsinks...

I have a Fractal Design Define XL R2, which is a wonderful case for quiet operation. I have Fractal (7V), Cougar (12V), and one Noctua (12V, CPU heatsink) fans running, and I have to be very close to the case to hear anything.

3 out of 5 eggsTurbine

Pros: they move a great amount of air through my case! comes with molex connectors, which is great because i had less space on my motherboard, and the cables would make it messy, so connecting the fans directly to the psu made cable wiring easy.

Cons: they sound like, well, turbines. its not an annoying whine. its more of the sound of air rushing through a confined area. - info based on a thin metal case which could be noisier than others

Other Thoughts: comes with long molex connectors.

not silent. quiet, but not silent. *woooosh*

not annoying, just really noticable.

lots of air for a fair price!

5 out of 5 eggsNice, cool, reliable and Quiet

Pros: Anytime I need to build a system I think I will get these fans, especially if the system includes a cooling unit like the corsair 80i

Cons: None
