4 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan, Quiet

Pros: Quiet
Easy to Install
Looks Great

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I would rate this product 5 eggs, but my fans did not come with mounting screws or a connector. Only the fan was inside the box. I just reuse my old case fan screws.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Great Fan

Pros: Bought this for a build I am doing for a relative. Using it as a top mounted exhaust fan. Bought it because it matched their team colors and needed a 140 MM orange fan. Got it and noticed it was a 4 pin PWN...bonus!!
Also the install was a pleasant surprise. The "rubber" Screws that this comes with made for an easy and perfect fit. That along with the rubber mounts on the fan should mean no noisy vibrations for this fan ever. (All fans should come with this type of mounting option.)

Cons: None yet. just fired up the build and the fan is running smooth and not too loud. and was moving more than enough air.

Other Thoughts: Really the whole what I am Calling "Rubber Screws" is a great way to install a case fan.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for case cooling!

Pros: I brough 6 of these fans for my case (Rosewill Blackhawk ultra) and I'm really satisfied; I'm an happy customer! Pushes a LOT of air, they are quiet and easy to install.

You have two types of attachments if you want:
-Screws
-Rubber fixed pins which also reduces vibrations (Not a reason to remove an egg but, personally, I hate them )

You pay for what's in the box. I would definitely buy them again for a next build!

Cons: No cons!

5 out of 5 eggsAre they even spinning?

Pros: It is exactly what I expected! I replaced the two 140mm Cooler Master JetFlo fans that came with the Cooler Master Nepton 140XL It is whisper quiet, even at its max RPM, which is 1119± RPM according to my ASUS AI Suit Fan tuner. I have it running at 70% which is 985± RPM and I can barely hear it at all. Its a little louder at max, but nothing over bearing like the JetFlo fans were, which sounded like a hair dryer at max RPM. They are no where near as fast as the JetFlos but they push almost the same amount of air through the radiator, thanks to the fan design focusing air into the center. I had to keep the JetFlos on the lowest RPM to keep the noise down, so naturally, being able to run these at a higher RPM will push more air through the radiator without the noise pollution. That is a huge pro.

Cons: They are not black. The PWM fans are only orange at this point in time. Not bad, but not black either. That is not NewEggs fault at all. Cougar should make black PWM fans! Or Red ones.

3 out of 5 eggsDo not move air as advertised/

Pros: The fans are quiet and installing them is super easy.

Cons: You cant install them in a horizontal fashion without them shaking a bit.
After further research i found that these fans dont move NEAR the amount of air that they are advertised to.
Do NOT use these on radiators. definitely not SP ready

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Air Flow, Silent performance

Pros: This fan moves a ton of air! With 2 vortex fans for pc exaust the inside of the case never gets above 30deg celcius. Plus the fans even at high rpms never get above a whisper. Theese are FANtastic...

Cons: Somewhat hard to install with rubber mounts.

4 out of 5 eggsWallet-hurting & ear-pleasing

Pros: Reasonably quiet.

Moves a ton of air.

Looks kind of nice in a blacked out case.

The included "kit" is surprisingly complete - screws, noise-isolating silicone mounts (that - crazy thing coming up - actually fit the included fan), resistor pack if you want to run them at a lower speed, and PWM to molex adapter. Unlike some of their competitors, their silicone mounts actually work with the included fan, instead of just using one silicone mount for all their fans and ignoring that they don't actually fit some models (unless you consider dangling loosely as be "fitting").

In theory the bearings should be so long-lived that they'll survive longer than everything else in your case.

Cons: Every time I buy a Cougar fan my wallet yells at me. But they're usually cheaper than Noctua.

2 out of 5 eggsNot impressed

Pros: Big and quiet

Cons: I replaced a 120mm fan with this one using an adapter on an overclocked AMD 4100 cpu running at 4.7g. The 3 pin 120mm fan kept the cpu steady at 60c using AIDA64 stability test. With this fan the temp goes right through 70c causing the stability test to error out and fail. This fan is a dud. I can monitor its rpm and it is at max speed of a bit over 1200rpm but can't keep up with the temp. I tried every setting in the Asus Sabertooth motherboard bios but no joy.

Other Thoughts: Try a different manufacturer if looking for a 140mm cpu fan. This one is quiet but not very useable except for maybe a case fan.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: These fans are whisper quiet. Even at full tilt i can barely here them. I bought these to replace the NZXT fans on my Kraken 60.

Cons: Doesn't seem to move as much air as the NZXT I replaced.

Other Thoughts: These fans move air, just not sure if it is as much as they advertise. The NZXT fans I replaced moved more air, but were MUCH louder. These fans do seem to keep the liquid temperature down more then the original fans. Definitely worth buying. May have to replace all my case fans with these.
