1 out of 5 eggsFan is LOUD

Pros: Fan is Noctua, which is a respected company with a very good reputation. Fan seems well built at first glance and the packaging is not skimpy at all.

Cons: My fan is very LOUD, even with the adapters being used. The noise is not from airflow, it is the motor. Almost as loud and just as annoying as the PWM noise from the Cougar it replaced. I purchased this fan to replace the Cougar because of that PWM noise, otherwise I would have stuck with the adjustable speed PWM Cougar fan...

The "selling point" of these fans as far as I know is their reported decibel level. My Noctua is actually louder than the stock Corsair fans that came with my H80 and louder than the stock Raidmax fans that came with my Cosmos case.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps my fan is simply defective? Or I am using it wrong somehow? It is on the side blowing air directly on my GTX760... I will try to find some more info on various forums but I must say so far I am very disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best. Hands Down!

Pros: Well. These are quiet!
I installed 2 of these in my closed box entertainment center -to keep my amp for all my speakers ventilated/cool. and after 2 Years! -yes 2 years of continues, nonstop use. These champs are still as quiet as the day i installed them.
the environment is also very dusty. yet, they show no signs of any wear-n-tare.
I will probably never spend money on any other brand because of my experience with Noctua!

Cons: you have to plug them in?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Awesome Design, build quality is top notch, easy to install, great air flow

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: replaced my standard case fans in the corsair 500r, installation was easy, just remember their are no grooves in the fan holes so it will take some pushing while you turn... I like the industrial like color but would look a little odd in some cases

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case Fan

Pros: Great sound to air ratio. Have 2 have these as top exhaust for my case. Couldn't be happier. Comes with all the expected cabling you need to power the fan.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Worth every penny. Get a few!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Hamster Cage Fan

Pros: Silent. Great airflow. Superior engineering. Cool packaging.

Cons: Color would be unfavorable in a case with side panel window, unless you did all black with all Noctua fans. That would be pretty cool.

Other Thoughts: I had to give Noctua a try after reading the reviews. Yes, Noctua is that much better than anything else. I'm hooked on Noctua for life. All new fans I have are Noctua. Maybe will replace all with Noctua. FYI - Noctua fans win over 100 rewards each year. No other fan brand can claim that.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: VERY QUIET
Great airflow
Keeps everything very cool

Cons: The noise dampening "screws" can be annoying

Other Thoughts: Bought 2 of these fans for my front intake on my NZXT Phantom 410. If you are thinking about buying these fans, do it! They are worth the higher cost. These fans are much quieter than the stock NZXT fans

5 out of 5 eggsWow!

Pros: Moves an amazing amount of air. Whisper-loud as it does so, Looks like no other fan.

Cons: Looks like no other fan, silicon dampener plugs can be difficult to use. Does come with screws.

Other Thoughts: Pretty much the best can you can buy, it's a bargin at the price they charge.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fan.... EVER MADE

Pros: The title says it all, this fan is seriously the most incredible fan I've ever put into a machine in my 20+ years of building custom PCs. From the moment I opened the NewEgg package, I was blown away at the attention to detail in every aspect of this fan. Even the packaging was very well constructed and laid out. The fan itself creates great positive pressure in the case, barely has any noise what-so-ever, and appears to have significantly helped reduce overall temps (but primarily GPU as it is blowing upwards to the top of the case past the vid card).

I'm totally sold on Noctua after buying/installing this particular fan. I'll never use any other fan again. I wish Noctua would come out with a 200mm version!

Cons: Not really any instructions. Not a huge concern, but for some newbie-ish users this may be a concern. 2 different resistor adapters to lower fan speed/noise were included, however I'm not sure which is the "lowest" adapter. Either way, noise doesn't bother me (i have 3 200mm fans in the case anyway) and I left it at full blast. The vibration rubber mounts are a bit difficult to install in my case, I ended up using the included screws

5 out of 5 eggsMust have fan

Pros: This fan is everything as everyone builds it up to me -- quiet and keeps components cool. I used this to replace on a Corsair H60 setup. I noticed on IntelBurnTest temps did get higher than H60 fan at full load 75 Celsius to 66. This fan speed topped out at 1278 rpm. At idle temps are about the same compared to H60 cooler.

Cons: I don't understand why the make has not released different color offerings. The beige color is boring.
