The Noctua NT-H1 is an award-winning, pro-grade thermal interface material (TIM) solution ideal for overclockers and DIY professionals. Consisting of a hybrid compound of different micro-particles, this thermal paste features minimum heat resistance, and is electrically insulating thus it wouldn't cause short circuit damage or malfunctioning in case of bleeding. Pros: Very good thermal compound

Cons: A little pricy

Other Thoughts: My idle temps dropped by about 2c which isn't much, but as temps climbed the difference scaled with it. When my CPU hit max load, the temps would cap out around 45c; stock paste usually hovered around 55c under 100%. If you ever plan on overclocking, you need to switch to a higher end thermal compound like this. Thermal Grizzly is far better than this stuff, although TG is also well over triple the price of this.

Pros: -is boss
-used it on 6 applications so far ( 5 cpu's 1 gpu)
-usually drops cpu temps by 6 degrees and gpu by 3 (before curing)
-not an expert but doesnt taste too good

Pros: Great thermal paste. Currently using it with a 5820k and a Corsair H100i. Using this thermal paste I am getting temps of 65 C with the CPU overclocked to 4.5GHz.

You get a pretty good amount of paste in the tube. It should last for quite awhile.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this thermal paste due to its great performance.

Pros: CPU temps were ~20C idle and ~30C load with no OC. 25C idle, 60C load with an OC. Seems good to me, but it's hard to compare.

Cons: I guess none?

Other Thoughts: I don't really have any way to compare this to anything, but I have always used Arctic Silver 5 in the past. This time, however, I used this thermal paste with my new build. I only used it due to a review I saw online on various thermal pastes.

This paste applies easily and the same as Arctic Silver 5. Temps seem really good. I'm running a 5820K which is 3.3 stock and with an OC to 4.5, I still don't break 60C on liquid. I'm happy.

Can't say if it's the best or if it's better than anything else, but it works great and I am happy with my temps.

Pros: Seems to do a good job helping keep temps down on my overclocked 4690k and 4790k with the H100 cooler. How well, I can't be exact but have no complaints.

Pros: Non-conductive, easy to use, and the set time is very short. right after installation the temps were 38-39C but after the paste heated up and spread out my temps were 24-29C... So pretty much just above room temp.

Cons: None that i can think of.

Other Thoughts: Maybe a life size picture of how much compound to use is required. The first time i applied, i used a little bit too much. Temps hovered around 38C but after reapplying the paste my temps dropped to 24-29C.. so just above room temps. My room temps fluctuate from 74-80F.

Side note: Used with a be quiet! Dark Rock 3 heat sink/fan.

Pros: Keeps temp low. Intel i7-4790K Devil’s Canyon Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I74790K is consistently idling around 28 degrees Celsius. I would definitely use again.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This was a first for me. I usually am lazy and a bit skittish when dealing with CPUs. I usually just use the stock fan, which conveniently comes with thermal paste already in place. Used the card spreading method on the base of a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Not vouching for what method of paste application is best/most effective, but this seemed to do the trick the first time. Also prepped the cooler base with a quick 91% Alcohol rub. One last thought. I saw a lot of references around the web suggesting either a rice sized dot or a pea sized dot of paste is best. From personal experience I would say that it is definitely going to be more toward pea size for an i7. Can't vouch for other CPUs as they may have more or less real estate to cover. Rice sized however just doesn't seem to be realistically enough.

Packaging states there is no "break-in" period, but I did notice after 24 hrs. that temps did improve a bit more over initial use.

Pros: Not electrically conductive.
Pretty easy to apply with the tube pushy thing.
Was significantly better than the cheapo ceramic paste I got at a brick and mortar store.

Cons: I would have preferred a finer tip to the tube applicator thing.

Other Thoughts: I just got this in today from UPS, already applied it to three machines (CPUs and GPUs) and they all seem to be running cooler.
