5 out of 5 eggsSo cool...

Pros: I have 6 of this running at full speed. As well as 6 120mm Noctua fans in a push/pull configuration for my radiator. My next goal is to get some fan controllers for when my system is idle. But for the most part, all 12 fans keep my system ice cold. But more importantly, quiet.

Cons: None at all!

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality Product!

Pros: I would like to point out that, this is my first Noctua ever! The reason I went with Noctua is because I needed a quiet fan but still a fan that pushes good amount of airflow. I put this baby on my radiator and my temps dropped while the fan is absolutely silent! I am very much impressed with Noctua, I should have went with Noctua long time ago!
Goodies:
- Silent (even at full speed).
- Lots of airflow for how silent it is!
- Fits 140mm/120mm
- High quality.
- Comes with adapters for different speeds.
- Neat design
- Even though it's brown.. It actually looks pretty with LED lights around it.

Cons: A little pricey.
Only comes in the same colors.

Other Thoughts: WILL BE buying another one for push/pull setup!
Should have bought Noctuas years ago!
If you want top notch/silent/powerful fan this is it!
You won't be disappointed!

5 out of 5 eggsBest fans I've found

Pros: I've built more than 100 computers for myself, family and friends over the years and Noctua makes the best fans I've ever used. I love that you can fit this 140mm fan into many places where only a 120mm would fit.

Don't listen to John M's review below, he seems to be measurement challenged... This is in fact a 140mm fan, but it has mounting holes to fit 120mm screw holes, and comes with adaptors so it also fits 140mm screw holes. just make sure if you plan to mount it in a 120mm space there is room for the 140mm of fan that protrudes past the mount holes. It also wouldn't make sense to put the 140mm in a 120mm space if the ventilation holes only cover the 120mm fan area.

Rubber mounting pins work great and isolate any vibration which keeps noise down even more.

Long sleeved cable,

2 resistor adaptors to set fan speed lower if you want to really keep the noise to a minimum. Even at full speed these are very quiet though. With the highest resistor, your ears are better than mine if you can hear the fan at all from 2 feet away.

Cons: Color is a con for some, but I prefer quality and quiet to flashiness. Since they are inside the case I don't spend that much time looking at them anyway, but since I have an Asus Sabertooth motherboard the fans actually match quite nicely for me.

Other Thoughts: Just a tip from an experienced builder. Make sure you have more/bigger fans blowing into your case than blowing out. You want to maintain positive pressure inside your case. IF you have more exhaust than intake your computer will suck in dust through every crack and crevice trying to equalize pressure. If you have positive pressure it will actually blow dust out of your PC. You will have to dust your PC far less often with positive pressure. unfortunately, most cheap cases are terrible for this. spending an extra $20-$30 to get a case with positive airflow is well worth it, especially if it has easily cleanable filters where the intake fans are. Don't forget to account for your video card's exhaust if you have one of the cards with a blower fan that exhausts outside the case when calculating to get positive pressure. They can move a lot of air at high speed.

5 out of 5 eggsover a year and still perfect

Pros: I bought this fan with the idea of using it on back of my HAF X case as I did not like the stock fan.

I love the rubber mounts and they work great in keeping fan noise way down while moving a ton of air.

I am running a Phanteks PH TC14PE CPU cooler and have the rear case fan pushing cool air into the back of the Cooler.
I have 4 fans running on the Phanteks and it keeps my CPU nice and cool. I never go above 47C even when overclocking my AMD 8350 at 4.9 GHZ.

This fan has performed flawlessly in the over a year it has been used. That is 365/24/7 days a week. I have had other high end fans die on me but this fan keeps on going.

I use a fan controller when not overtaxing my system so the fan is really quiet unless I crank it up full blast. Even then, it still is a lot quieter than many other fans I have used.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a case fan that moves a lot of air and lasts a long time, then this is your fan.

I have become jaded with Noctua products as I will not use any other fans. I have had nothing but problems with so many other fans and this fan plus all the other Noctuas in my case have been perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsBest fan money can buy

Pros: Incredibly quiet and smooth. Airflow is fantastic with these fans.

Cons: It's brown, though I myself find that aspect appealing.

Other Thoughts: I'll probably replace the other two fans with these.

5 out of 5 eggsNewegg Does It Again

Pros: I ordered this fan less than 24 hours ago. It is installed and running in my system. Order placed, paid, shipped and delivered with no charge shipping in under 24 hours, NJ to CT. Newegg is the best hands down. I have bought from them for many years and they never disappoint. As to the fan well it is a replacement for the same item on my cpu cooler that had a broken blade. Great fan for any use.

Cons: Nothing more to say.

Other Thoughts: None

5 out of 5 eggsFirst 140mm Fan!

Pros: What can I say? I use to think fans where fans, that had different speeds. Then I got into Corsair's SP120's, and wanting a 140 (Could not find the AF140 Quiet series, but I also wanted a little faster in RPM's) I went to a different place and got this fan. I am thankful I did! This is crazy quiet (Not that I can tell with 6 other fans, but noise isn't any higher) And I LOVE the fact it fits into a 120mm spot. And I am with the other reviewer, this is a true 140mm fan. The one who doesn't know any better posted a useless review. I find it amazing they could allow a 120mm setup for 140 fan. However, this fan will not fit all 120mm setups.

Cons: The color. But really, it is in the back of the case, (using a CM Storm Stryker) so you'd have to really look to see it. But IMO isn't that ugly.

Price, but really, should we care? We bought it, we knew what it would cost, we knew what we where buying.

Other Thoughts: Being 140mm with the ability to use standard 120mm holes is great. but it is not for all 120mm places. Such as the Cage Bays in the CM Stryker. (Tested is for the heck of it. Compared it to a 120mm fan as well, to big, because of it being round).
Love this fan. Love aussies. Love the guy who didn't think this was a true 140mm fan.

Would almost upgrade my two antec 3 speed 2k rpm 120mm fans for this. (It's on the bottom of the case, could almost fit, due to the 120mm brackets, if it where not for the fact this fan was bigger. Which means i'd have to use 1 :( )
