Combining a massive six heatpipe dual radiator design with an exquisite NF-P14/NF-P12 dual fan configuration, the NH-D14 is built for ultimate quiet cooling performance. Topped off with a tube of Noctua’s award-winning NT-H1 thermal compound as well as the new SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, the NH-D14 is an elite choice for the highest demands in premium quality quiet cooling.

  • newegg 6 Heatpipe Dual Radiator Design Providing more surface area, better heat-distribution and superior airflow efficiency than conventional tower style heatsinks, the NH-D14’s six heatpipe dual radiator design was developed to provide ultimate quiet cooling performance in dual fan mode.
  • newegg Dual NF-P14/NF-P12 Fan Setup The NH-D14 sports a premium quality dual fan setup consisting of Noctua’s award-winning NF-P12 (120mm) and NF-P14 (140mm) fans, both of which feature Vortex-Control Notches, SCD technology and SSO-Bearings in order to achieve a perfect balance of performance and quietness.

  • newegg Excellent Component Cooling Hanging out at the bottom of the fin-stacks, the NF-P14 fan doesn’t only contribute to the NH-D14’s superb CPU cooling capabilities but also provides massive airflow over surrounding motherboard components and heatsinks, thus ensuring excellent component cooling performance.
  • newegg SecuFirm2 Multi-socket Mounting System Noctua’s enthusiast grade SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting provides broad socket compatibility (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA775, AM2, AM2+ and AM3) and meets the highest demands in safety, contact pressure and ease-of-use.
  • newegg NT-H1 Thermal Compound Noctua's much-acclaimed NT-H1 is a well proven pro-grade TIM solution that provides minimum thermal resistance, excellent ease-of-use and outstanding reliability.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooler

Pros: Keeps my i5 3570k under 60 while playing BF4 and around 25 when browsing internet. Don't believe everybody when they say it will only fit in a full size case. It fits just fine with no modifications to my Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 mid tower case. Also, no issues whatsoever with my Ripjaws X Series RAM on my ASUS ASUS P8Z77-V LGA 1155 Intel Z77 motherboard.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: IMHO, best air cooler out there.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent cooler

Pros: This big baby has kept my cpu cool without a glitch since 2011. If you're somewhat handy, and if you've installed non stock coolers before, it's not that hard to get it up and running. Keeps my i7 cpu between 35 and 39C under normal working conditions at a 21C ambient temp, and this with only one of the fans running at about 650 rpm.

Cons: Heavy, but that's to be expected from a huge chunk of metal like this.

Other Thoughts: "This is the cooler you are looking for". I've owned a number of Zalman and ThermalTake coolers in the past, but this one beats them all at doing the job quietly.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfectly

Pros: When I bought this item I thought that it would be good, but It was better than I thought. Runs really quite for a fan cooler.

Cons: Putting it on was a little difficult, but went together ok.

Other Thoughts: This is a good buy for people who do not like to mess with water cooling. It is very big, so make sure you have enough room before you buy.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent CPU Cooler

Pros: HUGE!! Yes, huge is both a pro and a con. The size of this thing does prove its cooling power. Keeps my i7 4770K under 30c at idle and at or below 65c under full load (prime95, performance test, pcmark, 3dmark). In fact, the temps just keep getting better as time passes. Also the fans are super quiet. Installation was a breeze.

Cons: HUGE!!! It's not free. The fan color is odd.

Other Thoughts: It's huge so prior planning and compatibility are key. Installs with risers so RAM compatibility should not be an issue.

5 out of 5 eggsBIG ummm really BIG!

Pros: This is massive, but its for a good reason. It keeps my CPU nice and cool no matter what I am doing with it. It is also very quiet. Very nice quality as well.

Cons: It can be too large for some applications so make sure it will fit before you buy it.

Other Thoughts: Super cool cooler cooling my CPU!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent and cool!

Pros: -Runs quiet
-Keeps my CPU at 40*C or below at all times
-Looks pretty!

Cons: -You need an extremely large tower to fit this thing.

Other Thoughts: I went into this knowing exactly what I was purchasing size-wise. This product is EXTREMELY large, and if you do not have a full size tower, it simply will NOT fit inside. I have a Rosewill Thor V2 case, and it just barely fits inside of this.

Other than size this is an awesome purchase and will keep your processor running nice and cold at all times if your PC is well ventilated.

Here is my PC specs:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP4 TH LGA 1155 Intel Z77
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
GPU: GIGABYTE GV-N66TOC-3GD GeForce GTX 660 Ti 3GB
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W
PSU: KINGWIN Lazer LZ-750 750W
Case: Rosewill THOR V2 Gaming ATX Full Tower Computer Case
HDD: Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD6000HLHX 600GB 10000 RPM 32MB Cache

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the money

Pros: Amazingly quiet, moves a ton of air, and my idle temps are down 9C while load are down the same on a substantial OC.

Cons: The price I guess, but you get what you pay for. It's also huge; make sure you check their site for compatibility. Not really a con but you will have to remove the motherboard from your case to install the custom back plate.

Other Thoughts: Like most people, I thought long and hard about this before pulling the trigger because of the price and size, but I don't regret it a bit. Just make sure you have the room because it's about the size of a child's head. I have a Maximus VI Hero and G.Skill 2133 in a Thermaltake Armor with about 2mm of clearance over the RAM. Make sure to plug anything around the socket in before you attach it to the custom mainframe.

5 out of 5 eggsLarge and Cool

Pros: Large size, which some will see as a CON, but the large size allows it to dissipate heat much better. It keeps my FX-8320 as cool as the H100 kept my FX-6300 with both overclocked to 4.0g.

Cons: None that I can think of, although some may not like the color of the fans.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best Air Cooling Period

Pros: Excellent heat dissipation
Quality built
Fans are pretty quiet

Cons: Never liked the tan and brown colors of Noctua fans but they run forever and run smooth as glass but coolers are top of the line.Who cares so much about colors as long as it does its job and does the job well.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a roomy case this cooler is pretty large.
