5 out of 5 eggsSuper quiet and effective CPU fan

Pros: This thing is unbelievably quiet, coming off a ZALMAN CNPS9700 in my last build it was a huge bonus.
I found mounting this much easier, mostly due to the position of the screws being fairly accessible. The screws are also permanently fixed to the cooler's body and mounted on springs to help with uninstallation when you need to do so.
I love how the fans can be adjusted, they're mounted to the fins using thin wire latches and you can move the fans in different positions and orientations. This was very important as the position of my RAM sticks on the motherboard prevented this cooler from being mounted the way it was out of the box. Moving the fans to the other side solved this, even helpful arrows on the fan plastic casing to tell you which way the air flows as you reorient them.

Cons: None so far, I guess it'd be nice if the fin/body was copper instead.

Other Thoughts: Mounted on an ASUS Z97 Pro-Gamer with a i7-4790k.
I purchased this unit elsewhere, as I had forgotten to get a cooling unit when putting together my order for parts for a build.

5 out of 5 eggsReally Nice cooler, work like a charm

Pros: -Really well made, you can see it, this is quality
-Nice design
-Really easy to install,
-REALLY EFFICENT, at idle at 4.4 Ghz it 22-23 deg C and with full load (Prime95, OCCT, Aida 64, X264) it never pass the 55 deg C
-I'm really happy with Noctua product
-Quiet even if 1 fan work at full speed

Cons: -A little bit disappointed because the fans are not PWM, and my major CPU fan always turn at full speed, you need to add a cable extension to reduce the speed

Other Thoughts: My Rig

5 out of 5 eggsBought Used, super great

Pros: -Lower temps than my old H80 AIO

Cons: -No way to control fan speed with my motherboard
-Kinda noisy with both fans running full speed

Other Thoughts: -I can run it with only the 140mm installed plugged through a voltage reducer and never go over 60C on my 4.3GHz i7 3770

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Pros: Insanely low temps for an air cooler.
Very quiet in a Corsair D550 case.

Cons: Big. Wont fit in small cases. I had to remove the heatsinks from 2 of my Corsair Vengeance memory sticks.
Heavy. I feel after a few years this can do a decent amount of integrity damage to a low quality motherboard. Isn't an issue for me because I replace my motherboard/CPU every 3 years and I always get Sabertooths, but for those going cheap on the motherboard I'm not sure i'd personally get this even if I was told it was safe.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended. Was shocked at the temp difference this made. I was coming from a Corsair H75 cooler that gave me awful temps. This destroyed it in temps and shocked me.

i5 3570K overclocked to 4.2GHZ, Idle=30c, Load=52~60c

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: It does what you want it to do, really well.

Cons: It's massive in size. If you're going for a "look" or have a side window because you want to be vain with your PC, be mindful that this might dwarf anything on the motherboard. That being said, it isn't ugly itself, just more function over form.

Other Thoughts: It's a really good cpu cooler, even if it isn't as "slick" as I would want.

5 out of 5 eggsWow!

Pros: I had a stock AMD heat sink / fan on my FX-8350 (8-core) and it sounded like a jet was about to take off. It would wind up to 6500 RPM and the temps would still rise and rise. I had to watch what I did as not to overhear the PC. I put a NH-D14 in, and that's when everything changed. First, silence.. it really is golden. Second, It doesn't matter if I watch videos, open a browser and view a Flash video (where the temps would go through the roof), use BitTorrent with a hundred files downloading at once.. and copy a terabyte of data ... All at the same time. Now doing all that, the temps never hit 40c now. I would have red-lined if I had just used BitTorrent while watching a video in VLC before. This is a HUGE difference over the stock cooler. This thing could beat the old one without using fans!

Cons: Big, but if it fits, who cares!

Other Thoughts: With the AMD and Intel hardware, this cooler will outlast your current PC and move over to your next. If it handles the heat from a FX-8350 (125W), it will handle anything.

5 out of 5 eggsA beast !!!

Pros: This is an absolute BEAST of a fan... crazy big in size.... super quiet. Even under a heavy load, this is very, very quiet. I have it perched on top of a i5-6600K on a Gigabyte G1 -Z170 gaming 6 board in a Factal Design D-5 case... It fit perfect in my case, plenty of clearance for the 16 gigs of Vengeance RAM.

Cons: Great fan... but you need room for this beast.

5 out of 5 eggs**5 Year update** still great

Pros: Top of the line cooler brought down my temps about 5c from the Coolermaster V8
**Still compares to some of the Corsair watercoolers

Cons: Didn't wait a week to get the deal going on now....

Other Thoughts: Grab it while you can its way worth it. But make sure it will fit in your case, do you research first.

4 out of 5 eggsVery big, probably overkill for most rigs.

Pros: High quality, since you get what you pay for.
Runs quietly most of the time, even without the low RPM dongle.
It isn't a Cooler Master.
AM3 compatibility.

Cons: Very big. Even with a full ATX case and chassis, installing this was fairly tricky. A fair portion of it I ended up doing by feel. Now that it's installed, it's a non-issue.

Other Thoughts: Definitely less cheap than the Cooler Master heatsink I tried before this.
When I ran into a compatibility issue with the CM heatsink, two friends recommended Noctua. It worked flawlessly, so Noctua will probably be my go-to in the future. Good stuff.
