5 out of 5 eggsso big.

Pros: Max cpu temp ive seen after bench tests and stress testing with various programs/games is 59.5 C (the fans didnt even have to speed up more than about 800 RPM)

very straight-forward installation and the included thermal glue appeared to be of high quality.

printed instructions were easy to follow.

Cons: So this thing is huge. please make sure you visit Nactua's website and follow the links to verify the motherboard your pairing with this fan is compatible. with my mother board i had to be very careful to install the ram because i did this after i had already secured the heat sink and fans in place. (you might want to look into installing components that will be around this heat sink prior to putting the glue and screws in)

Other Thoughts: this is my very first custom built personal computer, and im very pleased i went with this fan.

I didnt put this in the cons section because its most likely due to operator error...that being said: Im pairing this with an ASUS P9X79 WS motherboard, and i got a CPU fan error until i went into the bios and set the low cpu fan alarm setpoint below 200 rpm. no worries though, never had temps get above 60c.

4 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: Keeps my cpu at super low temps, even when under heavy loads. Also the fans rpm can be adjusted easily which is very helpful. All in all a great heatsink, just be ready for how massive this is :)

Cons: Besides having to buy a mount for my LGA 1155 mobo, none!

5 out of 5 eggsCool and Quiet

Pros: This keeps my I7 3770 very cool! Had a Corsair H80I, but it didn't keep my CPU anywhere near these temps, and it's quieter!

Cons: NONE at all!

3 out of 5 eggsGood temps, but GIGANTIC

Pros: Great CPU temps for air cooling, easy install on LGA2011

Cons: HUGE, huge and huge. This bad boy also has compatibility issues with certain Asus motherboards. My Rampager Extreme kept throwing cpu fan errors. This has been acknowledged by both parties and the solution to shut off monitoring is, in my opinion, unacceptable. Did I mention that this thing is huge? It raised the temps of my GPU substantially due to restricted airflow in my case. In the end though, the CPU error was the reasoning for me to return this product in favor if liquid cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsBest cooling fan ever

Pros: So quite while it operates, it has beat my water cooling system off. Pull and push fan design works great on my Xeon processor. While controlled temperature with all the heat pipe with it. Highly recommended!!!

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Price is a bit high, but well worth it!

4 out of 5 eggsMassive but good

Pros: Keeps my new 6-core i7 plenty cool.

Cons: Size

Other Thoughts: I have 32GB of RAM on x79 sabretooth and because I am only using slots A1, B1, C1, and D1 it just barely fit. If i wish to upgrade in the future to 64Gb of RAM this unit would not fit as the dimms in slots B2 AND C2 (with the heat sync risers on the RAM) would interfere. Be very aware of the size of this unit. You need a big roomy case.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Big! Yea Big

Pros: It's HUGE and it cools..

Cons: the mobo I installed this on had the Memory slots right under the fan,
Install memory first or make sure you have paste to re seal the heatsink..

Other Thoughts: Just make sure it is gonna fit..

I tossed this in a old xps 730 case on top of new i7 and mobo...

It fits Like a glove....

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent CPU cooler

Pros: Keeps CPU cool ~27-32 C when idle or using computer in desktop mode.
Quiet at low speeds.
Includes cables and adapters for all possible combinations including a Y connector.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I did not have any issues installing this cooler. It fit perfectly in a Fractal R4 case. So far it works as advertised.
