The NH-L9i is a premium quality quiet CPU cooler for Intel LGA115x based HTPCs and Small Form Factor systems. At a super-low profile of only 37mm, the NH-L9i is ideal for extremely slim cases and due to its 95x95mm footprint, it provides full compatibility with tall RAM modules and VGA cards on mini-ITX mainboards. The custom designed SecuFirm2™ mounting system for LGA115x makes installation a child's play and thanks to the highly optimised NF-A9x14 premium fan that supports fully automatic speed control via PWM, the NH-L9i runs remarkably quiet. Topped off with Noctua's renowned NT-H1 thermal compound, the NH-L9i fuses everything users have come to expect from Noctua's larger coolers into a super-compact package for slim HTPC systems.

5 out of 5 eggsworks fine

Pros: this is a nice low-to-the-flo cooler. this unit has a very low profile that leaves a lot of clearance for uninhibited air flow. i plopped it on an ASRock Z77 board that sports a 3570k cpu. easiest installation ever. i haven't overclocked it yet, but current idle temp is 42C with no case fans at all. (ordered some) so far, i am pleased with its performance.

Cons: the fan did bring me some concern at first. the fan screamed like a banshee while installing windows 7. it calmed down to a whisper after installation, and ever since.

Other Thoughts: it looks sassy on the motherboard!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little cooler.

Pros: Great dinky little cooler, works very well for my i5-4670K. 27C-92C, idle-stress testing. 60C-67C gaming.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I put this in my ITX build, Asus ROG Maximus VI Impact and Cooler Master Elite 130.

5 out of 5 eggsGreatest of All Low Profile CPU Coolers

Pros: This is the perfect low profile cooler to include in your 4th Generation Haswell Intel 1150 CPU Socket. I recommend this cooler for all computer builders who have memory sticks, which sit high and get in the way of more traditional after-market coolers. Installation of this cooler is a breeze,

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I will purchase another Noctua NH-L9i 95mm SSO2 CPU Cooler, for my next build today.

4 out of 5 eggsDoesn't fit MSI Z77IA-E53

Pros: Out of almost every board, it doesn't fit mine. I just thought I should tell everyone out there before they are really disappointed and lose money.

Cons: The price seems a bit high to be honest.

5 out of 5 eggsCPU Cooler

Pros: Great all around CPU Cooler, Like the extras that came with this cooler!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If anyone is going to purchase this Cooler check with Noctua's website to see if this cooler will be enough cooling for the processor your going to use, I did some checking and for the i5 4440 Haswel according to Noctua's site it's not recommended unless your going to add additional cooling fans in the case. I am not a gamer so I left everything at stock settings and monitored the CPU temp on a good warm day heat is around 105+ degrees. All so I live in Hawaii so you it gets warm everyday of the year!

5 out of 5 eggsA Perfect Solution For My HTPC

Pros: Extremely easy to install. With the included low noise adapter it makes absolutely no noise. I can't even tell that it is running. Even with my ear right up to it. I built an HTPC Using a Cooler Master Elite 130 Case and it fits so perfectly that I Honestly believe there is no better choice than this CPU Cooler.

Cons: Not One.

Other Thoughts: This Noctua Cooler is not my first Noctua product. I have used their fans plenty of times all with excellent results. It is my first Noctua CPU Cooler though and I am blown away. It is cooling an i5-4670K overclocked to 4.2 GHz on an EVGA Z87 Stinger Mini ITX Motherboard with 16GB of GSkill 1866 MHz Ripjaws and the room I have is incredible. It keeps my temps down really low and I just can't stress enough that this Cooler is a perfect choice for anyone needing a Quiet, Small Form Factor CPU Cooler that keeps temps down. A breeze to install as well. You won't be disappointed if you buy this.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb quality.

Pros: Higher standards of quality than any other HSF/CLR I've used. There are no visible flaws to speak of. When audible (forced) the fan produces a pleasant tone. Installation was straightforward, simple, and sturdy.

Cons: Fan colors might not be for everyone.

Other Thoughts: The CEO (or someone forging his signature) physically signs off on the introduction/instruction manual. Metal case badge! Completely cool. I had been on the fence when considering Noctua because of how jarring the fan colors are when paired with most other enthusiast components. I care a lot less about that now and decided to give them a shot. Noctua earned another customer. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent !

Pros: Silent operation
Keeps CPU cool
Small but effective size
Quality

Cons: None !

Other Thoughts: Keeps cpu at 28 idle and 42 load, i have an i5-4430s. I super picky about my cooling components because I like a silent machine and this works amazing. literally silent ! When I first grabbed the cpu I could feel the quality. They include longer screws in case you want to fit a regular 25mm thick fan. how thoughtfull of them.

5 out of 5 eggsBest CPU cooler I owned to date

Pros: I am very happy with this cooler. Its used on a 4770K and keeps the temps between 28C (stock) and 75C full load. Its short and blows the air down towards the board helping that as well.

Cons: Price. A little boring to look at.

Other Thoughts: Really good product. Sorry about the hype on the review title. I dislike hype too.
