5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and Efficent Cooling

Pros: Moves air
Quiet
Moves air quietly
Luxurious packaging ... on par if not better than SeaSonic with their "Crown Royal" bags =D

Cons: Cost ... but I've purchased several hundred dollars worth of Noctua fans and coolers ... so can't really say cost has held me back.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. I mostly use Noctua fans for HTPC and close proximity PCs/workstations.

4 out of 5 eggsBest fans, bad price and worse packaging

Pros: Unmatched quality, superbly quiet, moves decent air given its lack of sound, comes with lots of accessories. The epitome of quality. Yes, I know I am speaking in absolutes, but I assure you, I am no shrill (see cons). I own dozens of Noctua fans and several heatsinks. There is no one even close as far as the quality. No one.

Cons: Price, packaging. Let's talk about this, Noctua. I see other companies responding to users' reviews, so hopefully you read these. You are the gold standard in quiet fans, and everyone knows that. You probably make fans that are in the top three, quality-wise, if not higher, out of every other manufacture on earth. But your prices are absurd, and every "con" in a review online mentions price. How much retail sales volume do you do? That is to say, how many fans do you sell to stores who put your products on shelves for people to see? I bet you sell more online and via drop shipment than you do retail sales. So why the retail packaging? The heatsinks I get from you come packaged like you'd find them in the fine leather accessory bag in the trunk of a Mercedes-Benz when you drive it off the lot. Yet, right after installation, I throw the packaging away. The fans I buy from you have boxes that are hinged on two sides and have fancy pictures and colorful print all over the place. Yet all that packaging is now in my garbage can on the curb. How much does it cost you to produce this fancy packaging, and how much of that cost is passed onto the customer? Seriously, trim down your fancy and expensive packaging and ship me my fans and heatsinks in plain white cardboard boxes. I don't need a fancy expensive box to know that the product I am getting from you is quality. All research done online points to that. No need to dress up your products for web vendors and mail order sites, I am not in a store being woo'd by your fancy boxes. I do not need an $8 colorful box to tell me your product is what I have been looking for for so long, I am buying your stuff for a reason. Put that $8 per product into more R&D and continue leading the pack in quiet accessories.

Other Thoughts: Geeks like to keep the boxes of their fancy motherboards and graphics cards to display them in their rooms. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, but its true, for reasons inexplicable and lost on me. No offense, but these are just fans. Lose the expensive customer-bait retail packaging and knock $8 off the price of each of your products. Your customers will thank you and be able to buy more. Plus you'll get less cons in these reviews. We know your stuff is good, we don't need shock-and-awe when we open the shipping boxes (and read our invoices).

5 out of 5 eggsThese fans are beyond excellent

Pros: I bought two of these fans. Installed it to side panel in original PHANTOM case. These fans are quietest fans, I couldn't hear any noise or sound. I had to open the side panel to make sure that they are running.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These fans are expensive than other fans, but they are totally worth every penny.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fans hands down

Pros: Best fans I have ever owned.
No issues at all and I have had these for over a year and a half.

Cons: Some people do not like the color. I like that they stand out a bit .. when someone looks at your case they can tell you use the best. But for people that only are after aesthetics then maybe not.

Other Thoughts: Seriously .. these are creme of the crop. alot of people not keen on the color.
These things reek engineering and quality.
But Ill take performance over glittery blinking fans any day. I have used corsair, antec, nzxt, xspc fans and they don't come close to these when it comes to amount of air moved and how quite these are.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case Fans

Pros: These fans are very quiet and move a lot of air.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought 4 of these to replace some fans in my two computers. They move at least as much air as the old, noisy fans for much less noise.
These fans come with some rubber mounting dealies that I couldn't use with my case, but even with metal screws these fans are nearly silent.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very high airflow, but the exhaust does not feel like a leaf-blower
Keeps everything cool
Great build quality
Comes with great cable options
I can barely hear them/can't hear them under normal use. They are also stunningly quiet at full speed

Cons: Low noise "screws" can be annoying

Other Thoughts: I am using these fans as an exhaust and they are amazing! I highly recommend them. You get used to and come to appreciate the color.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent is almost an understatement

Pros: * Extremely silent even at the highest setting. No idea why someone would use the low noise adapters.
* Anti-vibration pads are built in the corner so doesn't require any installation.
* Cables are really nicely sleeved which helps organizing your cables and avoid interrupting airflow.

Cons: Although I like the idea of anti vibration mounts, they are extremely hard to install depending on how your case is built and which fan emplacement you are installing it in. You'll most likely need tweezers to pull on the mounts in order to slip in the locking system over the screw holes.

I managed to setup one of my fans with the rubber mounts, but the second one I gave up and simply used a plastic rack that comes with my case. If you want to us the rubber mounts for most of your fans, you'll most likely need to remove all your components in order to have as little impedance to your reach/movements as possible. Maybe I'm doing it wrong so still giving this 5 star as the fans are supreme regardless.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, if you want silent fans these are the ones for you. Sure they are more expensive than the alternatives, but it's only a few dollars and totally worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply The Best

Pros: Quiet. Fluid design. Incredible warranty. Excellent addition of extra cables, extensions, and silence solutions.

Cons: Absolutely ugly.

Other Thoughts: I used two of these to replace the fans on my ASETEK AMD Performance radiator. They are MUCH quieter than the stock fans and move A LOT more air, efficiently. They mounted just as a standard 120MM fan would and the extensions provided me the option to tuck and run these cables off cleanly.

5 out of 5 eggsMy first nice fan. Worth it.

Pros: Quiet. Moves a lot of air. Comes with rubber mount things so you don't have to mess with screws. Comes with different resistors so you can slow the fan down if you want, but even at the highest speed you can't hear it so I don't see why you would want to slow it down.

Cons: A bit expensive, of course, but this brand is known to be one of the best.

Other Thoughts: One of the reasons I went for this fan is that my mobo only has a 3-pin connector. If I upgrade my mobo, I'll have to get an adapter. For the price it would be nice to have variable speed, but that would require 4 pins anyway.
