5 out of 5 eggsChill out dude!

Pros: Fit's 2011-v3 without using the supplied back-plate. Has hardware for both AMD and Intel installation included. Keeps the beast cool. Very tall, check the manufacturer's website for motherboard compatibility. Buy a wide case.

Cons: The instructions don't include directions for the 2011-v3 socket installation, but does have the hardware to do it. If you can't figure it out, maybe you shouldn't be building your own PC.

Other Thoughts: Up and running!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Cooler

Pros: I recently put a new computer system together with Asus X99A along with a 5820K being cooled with Cooler Master Seidon 120V. My temperatures were always somewhat high and OCing was diffuclt as stability was impacted. Yes I did re-apply the artic silver after cleaning the CPU and cooler multiple times trying to get good temps. After reading some reviews on here and other sites I decided to replace the Cool Master with the Noctua NH-U14S. I was able to overclock with ease at 4.5GHz with temperatures in the mid 70s on all cores while performing stress tests. I ran 3D Mark Firestrike and my temps never went above 55. I highly recommend this coooler

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Super easy to install, took less than 10 minutes before I was up and running.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat if Freezer was Cooler?

Pros: Pardon the silly DBZ joke.

It's a big heatsink. It's also a wonderful heatsink. Running the 5820k i7 @ 4Ghz/1.1Vcore.. barely got over 40c playing Tomb Raider.

The sink was buffed and mirrored (looked great), and I have no problems at all. Very easy to mount as well.

Cons: It's big?
Also, the thermalpaste tube didn't contain much material. Enough for the job, but I had none left over. (may have just been an unlucky tube)

Other Thoughts: If you can fit this in your case, I'd say you should get it. :)

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for the buck cooler

Pros: Lowered temps from 70c to 50c on an i5-4690 during heavy gaming over the stock Intel cooler. Game is the current early-access game "Seven Days to Die". Idle temperature is 29c. Room temperature at the time was 22c. The 140mm fan supplied with the cooler does the job. The slim look of the heatsink fins.

Cons: The color of the fan.

Other Thoughts: Installed on an Intel i5-4690 on the ASUS H97 Pro Gamer motherboard in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro case. There is more than enough room in this case for this cooler. Installation is simple. The hardest part is cleaning off the old thermal compound off the cpu. If your case does not have a motherboard cutout so you can access the motherboard behind the cpu, you will have to remove the motherboard to install the required bracket for this cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Quiet and Cool

Pros: -Instructions were very helpful
-Parts galore, they really want to make sure you get everything right in the building process
-Have this cooling my i7-4790k, and all 4 cores idle around 33-36c
-Super quiet, even if I turn off the smart fan system from the motherboard, the extra noise is negligible
-Price way better than the liquid cooler I was originally looking at

Cons: It's Brown :(, Please Noctura make it black or red Q_Q

Other Thoughts: Very Very happy with my purchase, but if Noctura if to ever offer black or red fans, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

5 out of 5 eggsExtreme quiet

Pros: This heatsink/cooler is very very quiet. Even under the heaviest loads on an i5-4690K it keeps the CPU cool without making more than a faint whirring. It supports both Intel and AMD sockets and has two different orientations so you can make it eject the hot air up/down/front/back depending on your case design. This particular model only has one fan but apparently you can add another one later if you need even more cooling. Comes with a nice set of organizers for the case pinouts.

Cons: Fits nicely in my machine, but like all high performance coolers it takes up a lot of space. After I installed the cooler I later installed an SSD into the M.2 slot on my MSI Z97 Gaming 5 MB, and it required some finesse to get at the M.2 slot because the cooler is in the way. Also, I'd rather have the SATA ports pointed perpendicular to the board instead of out the front, but I suppose this depends on your case design and drive config.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet and efficient, installation was not as long and tedious as some may have imply, it just have a logical order.

Cons: Bulky but it is expected, in the right case this beat the water cooler any day.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome.

Pros: Quiet, Keeps CPU cool, easy to assemble/disassemble

Cons: It's HUGE.

Other Thoughts: I installed it inside a Node 304 SFF case onto an ASUS z97I motherboard. Everything was a tight fit. I knew all of this when I got the parts so I won't deduct any stars for it.

You'll definitely want to make sure everything else works before installing this heat sink and fan as it leaves barely any room to work around it.
