Pros: A heat sink that is darn near silent while running under continuous heavy load and a CPU that stays nice and cold. No joke, I've been running folding@home continuously for days and the cores stay around 45-50C.

Cons: I didn't do enough research on this before I bought it, because they probably recommend that you do not attempt to fit this in a micro-ATX case. Regardless, I still managed to fit this baby in a micro-ATX case but it required much cursing and an extremely unorthodox placement of my two hard drives: one is zip-tied into one of the CD-ROM bays and the other is in the auxiliary hard drive bracket at the bottom of the case. I had to actually remove the standard RAID hard drive bracket that comes with the case, and then I taped my solid state drive onto the bottom hard drive bracket with electrical tape. Copious numbers of velcro ties were needed to keep the cabling away from the heat sink. Suffice it to say, this thing is massive and it WILL occupy most of the space inside your case.

Pros: Dead silent, low rpm capable, SUPER high quality packaging, instructions and product.

Pros: Didn't get to use it so not sure how good it is.

Cons: Did not work with my X99 Micro2 EVGA Board. The mounting bracket was too small. It said it worked with 2011 boards but did not with that one.

Pros: The easiest HSF setup I've worked with, and I've handled alot through the years. This was so painless. Even adding the other 140mm fan (that isn't included btw) was simple once I figured out which direction to attach the support. Did I mention it runs COOL. Running a 5820k @ stock and the highest I've seen a since core get was 57* C in Metro LL benchmark full maxed 1080 run
Witcher 3 & Fallout 4 get it up to the 40*s. Prime 95 test 2 hr run and temps were nice and cool, not sure as I didn't record them but I remember being satisfied with the cooler and that was with only one fan. Fits well/looks great on the X99 Sabertooth and clears the dimms for all slots to be occupied, I'd stick with lo-pro ram sticks but something like Ripjaws should fit anways, you would only have to worry about the two closest dimm slots (to the cpu) anyways so if you're only going to take up 6 of the 8 slots you're golden regardless. But I digress, bravo Noctua, I could probably build another machine on just what I've spent on noctua fans but it's worth it in my eyes, good performance and I don't hear any of the 9 fans in this specific build.

Cons: Not really a con but didn't know it only had one fan until I opened it up. Also

Other Thoughts: Installed in a Fractal Node 304 and this cooler is silent.... I read a post that indicates that this cooler should not be installed in this configuration....that it rattled.????? rubbish..... no rattling here....

+ Very quiet large 140mm fan that moves air well
+ Reduced vibration pads for said fan
+ Great heat transfer

Pros: This cooler fits my build (which includes a i7 4790k) wonderfully, it isn't huge enough to block my high-profile ram like other large air coolers from Noctua, Phanteks, bequiet!, etc yet it still gives similar performance to more expensive AIOs from Corsair, NZXT, Cooler Master, etc. It's extraordinarily quiet as well, especially with the included adapter from Noctua. This product also comes with an insane warranty, 6 years from the company.

Cons: None, however I have not attempted to overclock my i7 4790k using this cooler yet so take that into consideration that I'm running stock clocks.

Other Thoughts: Wonderful cooler from Noctua that comes with a nice long warranty. Loving this product.

Pros: It s good market cooler, I decided this based on the reviews on several places and research I have decided to buy. I made a good choice. But make sure it fits in your case. This is a huge metal construction and quality product. I gave only 4star right now, but I want to check the rated speeds are performing or not.

Cons: I see only size. But the ATX specifications, make sure before you buy check the case. Little bit expensive.

Pros: I love this CPU cooler. It dropped my temps on the CPU by 10c from the stock cooler. During gaming in 1440p or converting video recordings it doesn't go above 65c. You can feel this thing pushing the air. Plus with the warranty and easy to read instructions for install I would buy again.

Cons: The only con I can think of is an increased fan noise over stock but it's barely audible. That's me nit picking. Oh it is a big cooler. Massive actually. You would want to check ram clearance so it doesn't interfere and fits correctly.
