5 out of 5 eggsGreat Xeon Cooler

Pros: Super quality! Absolutely perfectly made. Mounting Screws easily swapped for commercial or Xeon sockets.

Cons: Price? But for the long warranty, probably very fair!!!!

The fan cables are shorter than I would like to see; means careful fan placement or using extensions to reach fan headers... but not a real drawback. You can mount the heatsink any way you like.

Other Thoughts: This is a top quality unit, the best I have used. Keeps fully loaded 12 threads running average 64C all day with X5680 CPU's.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: 1. Works
2. Keeps my CPU Temps at around 40C with no other case fans and at 31C with 3 additional case fans.
3. Really Quiet
4. Easy to install
5. 4-Pin fan allows for speed control

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought it for my first build to keep my Intel Xeon 2011-v3 cool. It did not disappoint and does a great job at keeping my CPU cool. It keeps my CPU cool to about 31C when I'm on the web, downloading, and running productivity suites. Haven't had a chance to test it running CAD yet. But I don't think the temps will go above 40C. I highly recommend the cooler and for the price its a great bargain!

5 out of 5 eggsWow!

Pros: Excellent performance!
Rock solid mounting.
Very high quality materials.
Very high quality construction.

Cons: kit required for some 1366 boards

Other Thoughts: Amazing difference in performance between Cooler Master and this. CM is a toy, this is equipment. I was unsure of the CM unit after mounting because in wobbled on the CPU and did not cut the CPU temps enough for the size. So I bought this and the difference was clear. Very well made of nice materials and performance so good I had issues with the CPU being too cold and fan speeds too low. The CM gave an average of 47-49C, the Noctua runs 39C at 400 RPM. I kept getting CPU fan warnings so I had to set the BIOS to ignore. It's quieter than the case fans. I missed the fact that this doesn't mount on all 1366 boards without a kit. I have an old board that doesn't have the right bracket. I scavenged parts off the CM fan and made it work but plan ahead and make sure. I wasted $25 on the CM and this is twice the cost but 10X better. Don't be me, buy right he first time.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: This cooler is like all the other Noctua coolers I own. All I can say is it works as expected and is very quiet even under high load. effortlessly cooling an E5-2620 in a very tight enclosure. Also the included LGA2011 (Narrow) is what I needed on Supermicro X9SRL-F

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The only issue isn't really one at all but worth mention. There is plenty of clearance in standard high ram. However, with the narrow LGA 2011 there is no clearance for heat spreaders on memory.

5 out of 5 eggsNOCTUA NH-U2XI4

Pros: Nice cooler. Very quiet. Fits good on MBD X8DAH-0.
Temperatures are around 33c. Small size cooler, with big efficiency.

Other Thoughts: I have two of this coolers running on a dual CPU set up (XEON 2.93 GHZ). Temps are low 33c and steady. Coolers are slim, but they have about 56 fins. Very quiet. 12" Case fans are loud comparing with this coolers. Recommended to everybody that wants a cooler build. THEY DO NOT ENTERFERE WITH MEMORY SLOTS, SO NO WORRIES ABOUT USING MEMORY WITH HEAT SPREDERS. I got the second set for a new build.
