The NF-A14 is a premium quality quiet 140mm fan with a square frame that complies with Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) standard. Its square shape and 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing) make it ideal for use on watercooling radiators or as an upgrade for 140mm case fans. Featuring sophisticated aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A14 further improves the renowned quiet cooling performance of the award-winning NF-P14. The PWM version sports Noctua's custom designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin fan headers and comes with a Low-Noise-Adaptor to reduce the maximum speed during PWM control from 1500rpm to 1200rpm. Its performance-oriented 1500rpm top speed and comprehensive speed control options make the NF-A14 PWM an elite choice for users who strive to strike a perfect balance between excellent cooling capacity and superb quietness of operation, be it on watercooling radiators, on heatsinks or in case ventilation.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING...

Pros: Quiet, powerful, quality built and lots of extras for mounting options.

Cons: none (I wish they made the fans black honestly, but I got over it once I seen performance.

Other Thoughts: The fans from Noctua are quiet and very efficient. They are the best for cooling things like radiators and whatnot, but I utilized this 140mm fan as an angled fan to blow on my VC. Brought the temps down drastically (by about 9-10 deg C). I have it blowing the heat up at the bottom of the card and out the back expansion ports. I plan to buy more of these fans to better cool radiators next. With the increase I have seen from the 120mm version of this fan, and now the 140mm, I would ONLY buy these fans to cool my most precious hardware from now on. Normal fans are okay for cases, but these Noctua fans are best for small spaces such as a push/pull setup on a rad.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case Fan

Pros: Good sound to air ratio. Have 2 of these on a side case intake. Really high quality fans.

Cons: Should have come with a converter so it could connect to a power supply directly. Fortunately I had a few laying around.

Other Thoughts: Really great fan. Ordered 1 for a side air intake just to check the fan out. It was so great I had to order another. Worth every penny.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm a Big Fan of this Big Fan

Pros: * Whisper quiet at low and high speed
* Quality construction
* Comes with splitter, low noise, and extension cables
* Moves a good bit of air for how quiet it is

Cons: * Not the most airflow in the world
* In most situations you have to use the extension cable because the attached cable is pretty short

Other Thoughts: Overall very happy with this fan, but there aren't a lot of high-end quiet fans to choose from in the 140mm space that actually have 140mm mounting holes like I needed. If a 140 with 120 mounting holes would work there are other good ones to consider.

5 out of 5 eggsNF-A14 PWM || Best 140mm Fans on the Market

Pros: - Very Quiet
- Mid/High airflow
- Excellent Static Pressure
- Short Cables for less clutter and cleaner runs
- PERFECTLY Balanced Blades
- Vibration dampening tips and mounting tacks
- Sleeved cables (extension, PWM splitter, and Low noise adapter are all sleeved)

Cons: - Price (but you get what you pay for)
- Color scheme may be off-putting to some (I have learned to love it)

Other Thoughts: What more can be said? Noctua's fans are simply the best there is. One thing I noticed recently is another shining example of Noctua's incredible attention to detail. If you spin one of their fans and look at it from an angle, you can see that there is absolutely no wobble at all. I did the same thing with by case's stock fans and by spinning them you could see that they wobbled significantly. The blades of the Noctua are all perfectly aligned and in balance with each other. This really helps with reducing vibration and noise. Giant props for that.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fans Ever

Pros: Moves a LOT of air at very acceptable noise levels. If you are noise weeny however, there are other Noctua fans that move slighly less air but are also quiter. That said, these comes with a full gamut of accessory wires. Let me elaborate.

The fan itself has a short (maybe 5" tops) 4 pin cable. This is awesome because many times you don't need a long fan cable, thus it keeps things tidy in your case.

However, sometimes you need a longer cable. No problem. Another ~6" extension cable is included with each fan.

Fan too loud and you don't want to control it with a fan controller/motherboard/letting your motherboard control it? No problem. A voltage limiting cable is included, ~2" in length.

Lastly, most mobos top out at about 4 chassis fan headers, while your high end cases will have as many as 6-8 fan locations. Noone wants to run extra molex power cables just for fans. Again, Noctua's got you covered. Each fan comes with a Y-splitter cable, so one motherboard fan out can power and control two separate fans - I haven't tried Y-splitting the Y-splitter outputs, but didn't have a need for it. Length of the splitter is about 2" as well.

All cables are protected with high quality mesh sleeving.

6 year warranty! on a case fan! Reliability is important. My PC is on 24/7, either gaming, serving as a media center, or mining crypto-currency while I'm away. If you want to be sure your compontents are properly cooled, this is a no brainer.

Noctua quality at its finest. I've been using noctua fans exclusively for over 6 years now. Will take some amazing reviews from people and reviewers I have a lot of trust in to get me to switch to any other brand.

Cons: Pricy, but you pay for quality and peace of mind. The components you are cooling are worth much much more and heat kills electronics.

Color - some complain. I actually like it. Plus I avoid the gaudy computer cases that light up everything with LEDs with acrylic sides for all the world to see. If I'm playing a game or watching a movie, I want to seeing the lights from my monitor, not out the side of my desktop. If i wanted a night-light, I'd buy a night light. So the fans are invisible to me.

Other Thoughts: Do not hesitate. Buy these fans.
