5 out of 5 eggsPerfectly quiet

Pros: After some soldering & rewiring these things, I managed to get them into one of my Dell PowerEdge 1900. The beast of a server went from being deafingly loud to a subtle & acceptable whirr.

Cons: None! They're great!

5 out of 5 eggsGood PWM fan

Pros: PWM fan @ 2500RPM max, does exactly what I need it to do.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I can't comment on the noise, as the box it's in has 4x 7K RPM fans in it. If it even makes any noise at max speed, it's indistinguishable above my other fans. (2x 60x20 pwm 7k; 2x 70x15 pwm 7k)

2 out of 5 eggsNot Nexus' finest

Pros: Has PWM

Cons: This fan is not as quiet as they claim, especially compared to their classic non-PWM fans, and it gets absurdly loud when run at higher speeds

Pros: None

Cons: Vibration

Other Thoughts: Was probably damaged in shipping since it was sent in a meagerly padded envelope

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome and Quiet!

Pros: This fan is quiet and gets the job done. It moves air efficiently. The silent case screws are very nice if you're going to be installing this as a case fan. I have used them before with a previous fan from Zalman, and they eliminate a lot of noise.

Cons: The fan wires are all loose. They should be stuck together in the form of a nice, clean ribbon -- like an older IDE cable or FDD cable. This required quite a few wire ties to clean up and sort out. It's a small inconvenience, but Newegg insists that I list cons. I don't care if you don't like reading the cons. Come the fuaarrkk at me if you don't like it, bro.

Other Thoughts: This fan is awesome. ^_^

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great as a replacement for Freezer Pro 7 fan

Pros: Fan seems quiet and was easy to install. Like the reviewer below my Freezer Pro 7 fan started to die and this has made a great replacement so far.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I have not had the motor whining problem that others have had but then again I am using this as a cpu fan. My computer never drops it below 2000 rpm and the other reviewer was having noise problems at 1600 rpm. Also, if you are getting this to replace a Freezer Pro 7 fan, the holes on the heatsink clip do not match up with holes on the fan. But the rubber grommets stretch enough so that it still installs easily and holds it tightly in place.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: silent and quiet...originally would rate it 5 eggs but whine is killing me

Cons: as other have said motor has a high pitch whine at the RPM my computer is running it at (~1600 rpm)....im going to try other fans the pitch is really annoying
