5 out of 5 eggsSweet fan

Pros: Installed for 1 and a half years in M51 ThinkCenter for "insurance" after upgrade to Asus EN8400GS silent.
Great airflow(for price) and never heard this fan AT ALL!

Cons: CFM not very high, but not really a con in this price range

5 out of 5 eggsAs quiet as advertised

Pros: Bought this fan as a replacement to the stock case fan for my HTPC. Really wanted something SUPER quiet as this sits out in the open in the family room. While this fan does not move a ton of air - it moves enough for a HTPC and is inaudible unless you are putting your ear right next to it - extremely quiet.

Cons: None that I can think of right now.

Other Thoughts: Wish it came in solid black

1 out of 5 eggsNot particularly quiet

Pros: Good reviews, seems well built.

Cons: I purchased two, both are the same, and a bit disappointing. Despite raving reviews, I'm led to wonder whether this is the same fan everyone else has used. Perhaps they've changed over the years.

My experience is that the fan is extremely quiet in open-air. It has some vibration, enough to rattle if the included rubber mounts are not used. The real problem is that any back-pressure at all, or restriction of the input by even the slightest amount, causes this fan to make a substantial hum. Placing a hand 2 inches from the intake while otherwise in open air repeats the hum. With two fans in the case, I achieve a beat frequency of about 1 second period between the two hums. I've tested with no obstructions within 3-4 inches of either side of the fan, and the hum remains.

4 out of 5 eggsCase fan

Pros: Low-cost, quiet, free shipping.

Cons: They include 2 Molex power connectors that few people need but make the PWM MOBO wires way too short. Worked before on an Asus but too short for my Gigabit MOBO . I like the fan so I removed the Molex plugs & soldered on the longer wires w/plug from the old fan. Insulated with heat-shrink tubing. The overall computer case fan noise (@1ft) went from 53dBA to below 50dbA; the meter can't measure lower. It was worth it, to me anyway, to take the 10 minutes to lengthen the wires.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet, decent flow

Pros: Quiet, reasonable air flow, low start voltage.

Cons: Wish it was cheaper

Other Thoughts: Needed a quiet 80mm and this fit the bill. No whine or hum.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Quiet, moves enough air.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Installed it in a Hec HTPC case. You can barely hear the HTPC now. Much quieter than the stock fan. And everything is still cool in there. I'll definitely buy their fans in the future. In fact, I'm buying another now.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet and moves lot of air, way quieter than the 3 year old fans I'm reaplcing.

Cons: It has a humming noise that can be annoying, for a fan that claims to be the world's quietest fan it doesn't do a very good job.

3 out of 5 eggsQuieter but not great

Pros: More quiet than stock fans

Cons: Difficult to install. Those rubber mounts are definitely worth it, they're just difficult to get in place in some cases. Bought it to be installed on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154087

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately this isn't the only consideration to a quiet system. PSU/GPU/BR player/HDDs are still noisy.
