5 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Had this fan for a couple months now. I plopped it down right above my gfx card to suck out the head, and suck out it does. I have it attached to a scythe fan controller so I can adjust it as needed and I usually keeps it at the halfway mark, and between all seven of the fans in my case this one blends in well.

Cons: Even though I'm not great at identifying between electrical, mechanical, and wind noise... I'm guessing the noise of this fan is mostly wind because it has that wafty sound. I actually like it, it's not whiny, but full bodied.

It's a bit wide, but in my mid-ATX it still fits on the side panel and comes RIGHT UP to the copper bars on the 480GTX. It's such a nice fit for me, but it might not work for everybody, and definitly not for small form factor cases.

Other Thoughts: I would buy more of these if I needed to. I might make a build using only these for business use.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks just like a champ

Pros: Fan header cable with RPM sensor. Very good static pressure even when run at ~7V with a fan controller. Moves a lot of air even at low speed. Run forever - I have original Panaflo's that are over 10 years old and still going strong.

Cons: This fan is moderately loud at full power.

Other Thoughts: I use six of these in my system and run them at 7V. Four are the high speed "H" series two are the medium "M" series.

5 out of 5 eggsStrong airflow, but wide

Pros: Solid airflow; seems well-built; rotor hub is smoothed, promoting more laminar flow.

Cons: Pretty wide.

Other Thoughts: At 37mm the Rexus is 12mm wider, approaching 50% wider, than a standard 25mm housing. It doesn't fit in the front of my Antec case, but shame on me for not checking dimensions. Good leads, and it more than solved my 'negative' case flow problem.

5 out of 5 eggsThings a beast!

Pros: Wow this fan is a beast! I replaced 1 25mm fan (silverstone fm121) with one of these on a 2x120 radiator for my watercooling and the load temps dropped 3 degrees! Just because of that I'm gonna get another one and pair it up, maybe even later, get 2 more and setup push-pull.

Cons: Screws provided didn't fit on my radiator but I had some short case screws that fit perfectly.
The motor is kinda big so a shroud in between the radiator or heatsink and the fan would help a decent amount. Other than that, none!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent fan

Pros: Excellent fan. I picked up two of these to replace the fans that came with a Noctua 1366 CPU heatsink in an overclocking setup. At 1000RPM, these fans are very quiet, and "blow away" the fans included with the noctua. These made about a 10C difference vs. the noctua.

Cons: Effectively, none.
If you run the fan at full speed, it's fairly loud, but this is mostly the sound of air moving. Most applications likely don't need the fan running at 100%.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly quiet

Pros: It moves a lot of air. What I did not expect was how quietly it does it. Yes, you cab hear the air moving, but that's it. The motor/bearings are whisper quiet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I put one of these on my Noctua and it keeps my Phenom II 940 at stock speeds and 100% load on all cores at a very cool 39*C while running Prime95 for 5 minutes. I am sold on this fan.

3 out of 5 eggsAlready died on me

Pros: moves a whole lot of air, for a while i had it cooling a thermalright ultra 120, then transferred it to the side of my case where it cooled my 8800gtx by 15C.

Cons: I've only had the fan for 9 months and it's already dead. The thing is too loud compared to it's competitors which also move more air and this fan is more expensive. The sound isn't just the air it always has sounded from the day i opened the box that the bearings are wayy to noisy and create a sort of grinding sound.

Other Thoughts: I can no longer recommend this fan. Get a Scythe Ultra Kaze which blows 130cfm and it's quieter and cheaper and still runs. I currently have 3 in my case and will be purchasing another in order to replace this junk.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan, but has a flaw.

Pros: Moves air like a politician in October! Definately works as advertised.

Cons: Mounting screws are small, but those are easy parts to replace at the hardware store. A bit on the noisy side, but I had to have a 14" box fan wedged in my computer case to keep it cool before, and it's quieter than that was.

Other Thoughts: It's made out of a structurally brittle material. I installed this fan into the side of my computer, and cut out a hole in the case for it. It does not come with any kind of grille or grate or other protective cover for an exposed mount hole. I tapped it with my foot by accident, and one of the blades snapped right off. I've since attached a protective cover over the hole. If you're making an on-the-fly case mod like I did and using this fan, be sure you also have a plan to cover the exposed hole after you're done.

1 out of 5 eggsSO LOUD I NEED EAR MUFFS

Pros: None that I can see

Cons: It doesn't push that much air for all the noise it makes. It's huge and it's loud. I am taking it out and putting back the Antec three speed I had in there.

Other Thoughts: Big is not always better
