4 out of 5 eggsA Fan to Cool

Pros: Creates high volume cooling, uses only a 4-pin connector on the mobo, easy to install.

Cons: May use up to 9W. May cause computer to cool down before completely shutting off. I used to have my PC powered on light go off when I turned the PC off. Now, my PC stays on for four minutes afterward cooling down the mobo components.

5 out of 5 eggsWish they made these in 140mm too

Pros: Awesome cooling potential and nearly silent at low rpm.

Metal cover over bearing doubles as heatsink!

Cons: A little heavy for cpu tower coolers, just don't subject your case to excessive g-forces or slight mobo bowing may follow, especially if it's a dual fan setup.

Don't connect two of these to a single header since at 100% they draw half of what my 12A headers provide.

And yes they are extremely loud at 100%

Other Thoughts: Use these on both the chassis and 120mm tower cooler block. Love hearing the fans rev up to 100% at POST screen then gently spool down to silentless.

5 out of 5 eggsover 9000?

Pros: So much airflow, I love it. Installed 2 on the bottom of my system, nothing is able to sit on top of the case now. I may be buying 3 or 5 more just to have the air conditioner effect. The eggs are lying there should be over 9000 golden ovals up there.

Cons: Loud? I have headphones and enjoy the purr of the beast when i take them off. If you want a silent fan wait for dyson to make computer fans or whatever. Why are you trying to bring a desktop on ninja field trips anyway?

Other Thoughts: My room is cold now.

5 out of 5 eggsExtreme output!!!

Pros: Extreme airflow (it does the job of 5 fans all together) Pulse-width modulation (PWM) fan. It has an impressive static pressure of 10.92 mm H20.

Cons: Too much noise at maximum speed (but I already knew that) it looks like a cheap fan but it's not, plastic feels heavy duty. No cable sleeving but I knew that too.

Other Thoughts: I have this fan pushing through a CM HYPER 212 EVO and it keeps my FX-6300 (not OC) full load at 40c @ ambient room temperature 21c (70F) and at room temperature 82F (for those who don't have A/C in the room - I feel your pain) my CPU stays around 45c even at full load. Also the idle is very good too, around 32c @ 70F and 38c for the 82F ambient temperature this is when it gets kinda noisy but not as noisy as when you power up your computer or resume from sleep/hibernation, thanks to the PWM it's only for a few seconds it seems to go at 100% and then settles back to normal.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan!

Pros: I feel like I can right an honest review now that I've had it a few weeks. A fan went out in my old Antec 900 and I decided to replace them with four of these. The fans feel very high quality, compared to the old ones. They're PWM so I have them connected to a fan splitter, and my mobo controls all the fans in my case and revs them up when it gets hot. Pretty cool! They move a ton of air. On full blast they blow air against the wall so hard it bounces back and cools off my legs and blows paper of the top of the case. I have a i5 2500k and I went from a barely stable 4.2Ghz overclock to a stable 4.8 Ghz. This is on the old Hyper 212 and it never gets above 55c playing games.

Cons: I noticed that a bunch of reviewers mentioned the noise. I didn't think it would bother me because I would usually be running them at the minimum speed. "It's PWM! Why would you pay extra to run them on full!", I said. The problem is that even that the lowest RPM you can get these, there is a slight hum or whine. HTPC fans these are not. But yeah... you can differently hear them. So if you're looking for a quiet fan with overhead when you need it, look elsewhere. That said, it doesn't really bother me. If you've ever had an old 90's Dell or Gateway it sounds like when you first start it up. Makes me nostalgic :').

Other Thoughts: These good fans and I love the PWM. I noticed that I could get them as low as 1350 RPM, but 1 or 2 of the fans would make squeaky grinding noises, so I raised them to 1375 RPM and all is well. I have an Asrock mobo and I put the fan speed at 28 out of 256 if that helps anyone out there.

4 out of 5 eggsWrong fan connector pictured

Pros: Built well, quieter than the 120x38mm fan it is replacing.

Cons: The fan connector pictured is not what it comes with. This is the primary reason I chose this fan. No big deal, I swapped the ends with the fan it is replacing.

5 out of 5 eggsUnbelieveable Air Flow!

Pros: As everyone else has said, the amount of air this fan displaces is absolutely insane. I put one of these in just the back of my Rosewill Line-M mATX case, and the temps have dropped by 5 degrees celsius at idle. At full tilt, the fan is loud, but my system never runs at 100%, and the mobo has control over all 3 fans, so it's no louder than it was with the stock fan. However, when things do heat up in there, this fan has the power to keep the mobo temps around 30 degrees under full load.

Now I'm seriously considering trading the pretty blue LED fan I have in the front for another one of these monster fans. I think the air flow increase will outweigh the ambiance from the LED fan I currently have. I would be able to run at 100% all day and not have the temps rise above 60 degrees celsius on the APU with the stock cooler. This is a very highly recommended fan. Seriously, just look at the other reviews, realize that this fan is seriously worth the $20, and go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: Just click the "Add to Cart" button and end your search for a 120mm fan. DO IT!

5 out of 5 eggsSuperfan

Pros: This fan is ridiculous. I installed this single Delta fan in front of a midtower case and it is very capable of cooling the entire case. It's built well and doesn't feel cheap.

Cons: Loud.

3 out of 5 eggsDo you want to hear the most annoying sound in the world?

Pros: Moves quite a bit of air for this size of a fan.

Cons: The sound it makes is very high pitched. It may only be 46 db but it is very annoying. Also remember that every 3 db is like a doubling in sound to the human ear, so... yeah, definitely not for confined living quarters or an office type setting.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fan is very powerful and moves a lot of air. You could probably turn off your air conditioner in the summer and use this fan instead.

Cons: It's quite a bit louder than I expected.

Other Thoughts: This fan is overkill for my mid-range gaming PC. I can control the speed of the fan with speedfan and make it quieter when I'm not gaming. When it's around 50% speed it's no louder than a stock fan and moves more air than a stock fan.
