Enzotech CNB-S1L Forged copper 1100 Heatsinks only

Pros: I installed 2 of these In my Asus 1501 Ebox as heatsinks for my atom 330 & ion video card. SUPERB!!!a pure forged copper. comes with thermal compound. low profile (design to fit almost anywhere). dropped spu & gpu temps by 12 degrees

Cons: the mounting brackets aren't 100% universal, but easily modified

Pros: Solid copper, heavy. Dropped up to 10c over the stock aluminum southbridge cooler on my rampage gene ii.

Cons: Not enough adjustment available for different applications. The corner mounting holes allow for up to 4 different widths diagonally, but none vertically or horizontally. My chipset uses mounting holes that are directly below and/or above the corner of the heatsync, not diagonal.

Other Thoughts: Had to trim, bend and modify to get this to fit right, which is somewhat expected from generic heat sync's. But they could have designed this with larger corners and more holes for different situations.

Pros: all copper, flat, very very flat, and it came with thermal compound. Low profile, the height is low enough to not hinder any other slots on the mobo.

Cons: the spacing between the 2 holes is a wee bit big for my mobo, but I managed to push the pins in at a slight angle to make it fit. It doesn't cool the nb chip as well as I had hoped.

Other Thoughts: if it was a bit bigger, probably ~40mm end to end, and the copper columns were a tad longer I think it could cool my NB chip a good bit better. It's low profile is so low that air in the case from the fans barely wings by it for a pseudo-passive cooling system. I'm probably going to have to look into a different heat sink. I set a p2 aluminum heatsink on top of this one just for SnG and the extra mass has allowed the combined heatsinks to shave off an additional 10C. obviously this isn't a permanent solution, just an experiment of sorts.

Pros: It sinks the heat off my SCSI card and it stopped overheating what more could i ask for.

Cons: its flatter than my chip i guess that not a bad thing though, I better complain to adaptec.

Other Thoughts: it gets hot fast and gets cold fast, go copper :)
