5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for older Motherboards!

Pros: Used them to provide some heat dissipation for my EP45T-DS3G MB in my HTPC. It's a perfect HTPC motherboard, but only has 3 + 1 power phases, so to overclock the e8300 in there to 3.2Ghz and not have the board melt with heavy movie watching, I put these on all the MOSFETS. Works great! Also used them on my retro project Conroe865pe build.

Cons: The sticky thermal tape takes a little bit of time to "set" before they are firmly attached.

Other Thoughts: I loved them so much I bought 2 sets! Can't wait till they are back in stock. Make sure there is some airflow across them to carry the heat away.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes The Job

Pros: * Runs cool.
* Fixed my issue.

Cons: * None

Other Thoughts: * Got it with Arctic Silver ASTA-7G glue.
* Used to fix disaster of aftermarket heatsink for my 560 TI. Parts didn't fit so these saved the day.

--- TIPS ---
* For me it was video card heatsinks, if you go that route I recommend good glue.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Mosfet/VRM heatsinks

Pros: Transfers heat from whatever it is attached to, prolongs life of components by allowing them to run cooler. Good thermal tape, sticks well, never had one of these little heatsinks fall off. Package includes a few extra pieces of thermal tape, in case you mess up and have to try again.

Allowed me to reach higher overclocks on a motherboard that had no stock heatsink or heatpipe for cooling the mosfets/Voltage Regulation Modules. Helped me set a new world record, and yes, I'm serious.

Cons: Getting more expensive, when I first bought them they were $10, and less than $16 shipped to my door. Now they are $15 +shipping. Wish they were twenty to a pack instead of just ten. Modern motherboards need 12-15 of these (and in some cases as many as 20 if the power section of the board is really huge), so most of the time you'll need two packs just for one motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I liked the first set so well I went out and bought two or three more.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Included pads stuck well. Cleaned surface before hand.

Used a bunch of these to cover mosfets. I had some leftover after CPU so i put them all over.

Cons: required use of tweezers?

had them on the PC for a year.

Sold it to my neighbor recently, they seem to look kind of silly now.

Other Thoughts: They do function. Mosfets had a surface temp of more than 50c. These copper heatsinks have a surface temp of over 40c. I don't think they are 10c cooler, but the copper is for sure soaking up some heat.

3 out of 5 eggsTERRIBLY OVER PRICED BUT WORK WELL

Pros: They do what they are supposed to.

Cons: Terribly overpriced for the amount of copper in these things they should be $10 or less

Other Thoughts: While overpriced at least they work and work well.

Very small 1/4" base x 1" tall
I used a medium flathead stuck in the tines to stick them on my mosfets the thermal tape works better than I expected.

I would reccomend cleaning both surfaces with high proof rubbing alcohol (90%) and a Q-tip
It was important for the heatsinks as they had a slight oily residue on some of them

If you do your mosfets DON't get it on your motherboard! squeeze out your moistened Q-tip first!!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Seems to work well. Helped alleviate some of the anxiety I was having after learning my mobo was subject to overheating.
Tape sticks well, but does seem a bit too thick for heat transference

Cons: Hard to install for someone with big fingers, like me.

Other Thoughts: I used a tweezer to place these on my board.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Heatsink

Pros: Works exactly as they should.
All copper design
Supplied thermal tape is very sticky.
Easy installation

Cons: Thermal tape is kind of thick, heat doesn't transfer as efficiently.

Other Thoughts: I would buy a non-conductive adhesive to glue these on. The heat transfers much better. Arctic Alumina worked really well for me.

Most mobo's will require two packs, it only comes with 10 in a pack.

You can feel the heaksinks warmup after a few minutes, they seem to be working.

5 out of 5 eggsFor VGA water cooling

Pros: Fits nicely in a tight place, like a video card between capicitors
displaces heat very well

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Whenever I install a swifttech universale waterblock on any video card, I make sure to grab a set of all copper heatsinks, 10x10 for the ram, and these for the VRM's. They are the perfect size for most video card VRM's.

However, make sure you still have some kind of air flow over these!!! Heatsinks will not help you if nothing is REMOVING the heat that they take from the chips.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: These helped alot but did not eliminate the problem. So I put a fan blowing on then and my over heating mofsets are a thing of the past.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsoverclocking must have!

Pros: I have a mid range Asus MoBo and an AMD 1090t, before buying these I couldn't overclock past 3.7 GHz but after putting these onto the MOSFETs I'm running at 4.1GHz at 1.42 vcore. They also dropped my motherboard temps by a few C.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Buy them! you'll need 2 packs to get your entire Motherboard if your running a standard ATX
