5 out of 5 eggsIrritation on a great cooler

Pros: Great little cooler. As previous poster stated, fits the MSI790FX GD70 perfectly fine. Gives about a 10 - 15C temp drop. Your results may vary.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Ok, herculesx, you really need to educate yourself before negatively blasting a solid product. First, learn to measure you South/North bridge holes. Second, use some common sense & don't go only off the spec sheet. Clearly, it fits many more applications than the original spec sheet states, & chances are it will fit most AMD or Intel applications. It's not rocket science.

If you had taken the time to simply take a measuring device, measured your mounting holes center to center, you'd have known whether it would fit or not. It's getting really irritating seeing technically challenged people like yourself on here, blasting good products, rating them badly, because you made the mistake. It's not the products fault, for your own mental mistakes. So either do all of us a favor & rate accordingly, or just don't rate at all.

It makes absolutely no sense for people to always be rating products negatively because either they can't read things first, can't double check & measure things first, or just don't want to take the time & read some reviews or information, or simply email the products tech support & ask a question. Instead, they buy things unprepared, uneducated, (you see this constantly with graphics cards being too long for someone's case, or a CPU cooler being to tall to fit with the side panel on or being able to fit over RAM) & when things don't work out right, they rate a good 4 or 5 star product, with 1 or 2 eggs. In reality, not only are you effecting the products actual positive rating, but you are also making yourself look very, very ignorant & very technically challenged.

Rate properly, or leave it to those of us who actually do rate properly, so products actually receive the proper rating, which helps other people who actual do have concerns, make a proper decision on whether to buy a product or not.

5 out of 5 eggsLow profile hsf for SLI/Xfire southbridge

Pros: Only hsf I could find for my southbridge chip that would fit under my EAH6850 2-way Crossfire card. Fan only draws 0.064A. Very nice finish on the mating surface. Matched the push-pin hole pattern of my mobo.

Cons: A little spendy. One side of the push-pin springs fell into the mounting lug slots on the first installation, tilting the pins to the side. I had re-install with a thin washer between the springs and the mounting lugs that had a hole diameter a bit smaller than the lug slot.

Other Thoughts: Very nicely done little unit, perfect for the job at hand. If there were only a couple of mm more clearance, I could have bought a much less expensive unit, so measure carefully. I used pieces of flat scrap until I found one that slid under the video card with a bit of wiggle room to spare and measured that.

2 out of 5 eggsIntel Only

Pros: Look's GREAT !!! Excellent Polished Copper Surface.Read the Spec. Sheet if you can find it ! BEFORE Buying!!

Cons: Fit's only (1) ONE AMD Board the Old ASUS nForce 4 Socket 939. Would Have Been Great about 5 Years Ago!!

Other Thoughts: Compat. list shows almost every Intel Board in the Book and 1 socket 939 AMD. Would be nice if it listed that in the Ad !! DUH ! Bought from Frozen, Returned it for Almost 40.00 what a waste! Buyer Beware
