Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL 140mm UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) CPU Cooler

Pros: This heatsink looks Awesome, i purchased the blue and love it. I see a lot of people saying you need low profile ram which is false. Mine work just fine and you can see my set up below. I haven't over clocked my system yet but from other reviews i see this this can take whatever you trow at it. The fans look great and i love the blue/white. Very quiet and yes it is big so make sure you measure.

Cons: Nothing yet, all i can say is buy this heatsink, its worth every penny. Only complaint i can say which i also seen on other reviews is that one of the bags were open. I'm not to happy because it gives you the feeling that its been open before.

Pros: As almost everyone else has said, this thing is absolutely massive! I have the Antec Twelve Hundred V3 and this heatsink barely fits in my case. With just the heatsink and fans spinning the unit still stays ice cool without the help of any case fans. If your case will support this amazing cooler, I would highly recommend it to anyone! Can barely even hear the fans spinning.

Cons: Wish it would ship with 3 fans...

Other Thoughts: Unlike most other people, I did not find the instructions very difficult to follow at all.

Pros: This is about the best it gets in terms of air coolers. Some say it is as good as the Noctua D14, some say better, while others say not quite. Wait we know for sure that it is one of the best, with probably the most diversity with the colors you can choose.

Cons: It's big, but what do you expect? In a perfect would you could get this quality of cooling from something a bit smaller. Then again, you would lose out on the quality it brings to a build.

Pros: I have my 3770k overclocked to 4.8ghz it was stock @3.5

Pros: Looks great, performs quite well, keeps my 3930k at bay.
Thermal paste that comes with it seems to be quite good as well.

Cons: Instructions are a bit confusing, every socket compatible with this cooler is listed making it a bit difficult to follow the proper procedure.
Watch some videos on youtube before installing it, just to be safe.

Other Thoughts: All in all a great cooler, runs quietly (not really a concern of mine but a nice feature nonetheless), docked an egg because of the instruction manual being confusing, but I'd like to recommend this cooler.

Pros: Very good cooler. My AMD Phenom X4 965 Black processor stays very cool under load. The temps much are better than with my old H50 with 2 fans in push/pull.
The fans are very quiet. You have to get very close to hear
them and all you hear is wind movement.
Newegg processed and shipped it very quickly.

Other Thoughts: This cooler is very big. Make sure you take some measurements to be certain it will fit in your case. Check for compatability with your RAM and your Motherboard at the Phanteks web site. This cooler is very large and will overhang the RAM slots. You may need to purchase low profile RAM to accomodate the cooler and fans. The Phanteks people are very nice and willing to answer questions you have before you purchase this cooler.

Pros: Dropped my temps by 20C compared to my Thermalright cooler. Quiet, easy to install (see cons) and lighter than the True Copper heat sink I have on my other computer.

Cons: The instructions for this installation are a 3/10 imho. They don't even tell you about getting the fan clips connected to the system. The pictures for it are impossible to make out. I had to go to Youtube and watch the video there to see how it was done correctly.

Other Thoughts: If they brought the instructions up to the level of the heatsink/fans this product would be unbeatable. The unit is very large but you get a great result.

Pros: OC'd my i5-3570k with few heat issues, and when they existed it was my fault not the product's. This is a great looking sink, although bigger than expected. The fans are very quiet and do a great job moving air.

Cons: Bigger than you expect. Make sure you look at the dimensions. This barely fit in my Antec 900 and the fan would not fit over my RAM with the case side on. Easy fix, but had me worried for a second.

Other Thoughts: If you need a great sink, this is one of the best. I would recommend this to anyone using an air cooling solution.

Pros: This is a great cooler, no worries when overclocking. Looks are astounding; the blue/white contrast looks remarkable in the case I have.

Cons: Not really a con, but see other...

Other Thoughts: One of the fans stopped working after a week of usage. I've tried contacting Phanteks twice about this (they have 2 sites, kind of confusing). I've requested a procedure to get a fan replacement; I'll update my review once I decide if their customer service is credible and reasonable. As for now I'll continue to use my 1phantek/1cm fan set up and rock these excellent temps.

Pros: Super fans with very low noise, even at high rpms. Great swag and easy mounting. A huge step up from my coolermaster. It also fits on top of my 4 DDRs even with a Corsair ram cooler fan. Spring mounted mounting screws are a very nice touch.

Cons: AMD mounting set bag, Intel mounting set bag, and accessory bag came open during shipping so all pieces got mixed up when pulling out of box. Also, it only came with two fans, not 3. They are $10 cheaper now than when I bought it, but a new fan costs another $22. Not sure if I need three, but will find out.

Other Thoughts: I wish they would put the airflow direction on the fans so that I can make sure the fan direction is the way I want before putting it in the box to allow for pre-assembling. It came with Phanteks thermal compound, but I bought an arctic mx-2 tube anyways out of personal preference.
