A great choice for case and radiator fan upgrade. The PH-F140SP 140mm Premium Case Fan is specifically designed to overcome high static pressure, blade deflection, and noise challenges. Up to nine blades with MVB feature produce powerful yet silent downdraft airflow. The UFB bearing, composed by MOSS and SSC systems, ensures long lifespan and consistent operation. The larger base size with a magnetic brushless DC motor provides maximum rotational stability, while the acoustic dampers, along with the redesigned back frame and PCBA, effectively minimize the vibration and noise. Plus, the PH-F140SP also features 140mm mounting hole for easy installation.

general information

MVB (Maelström Vortex Booster)

The new nine high pressure MVB blades are precisely angled to generate a silent controlled airflow. The blades produce a downdraft vortex, allowing for greater amount of air passage through and reduce airflow turbulence across the surface of the blades to create significantly better performance and airflow while keeping noise to a minimum.

general information

UFB bearing (Updraft Floating Balance Bearing)

Composed by MOSS and SSC systems, Phanteks’ UFB bearings have an effective hub-tip ratio to achieve a state of equilibrium, reducing air and vibration noise. SSC provides an increase in the bearing’s lifespan and ensures that the fan’s axis is consistently operational and quiet.

general information

Minimizes the Vibration

The back frame of the PH-F140SP is meticulously redesigned to create better structural strength and reduce the vibration occurrence. Moreover, it’s pre-installed with eight bigger rubber pads, helping reduce more vibration.

general information

Maximum Rotation Stability

The PH-F140SP has a larger base size with a magnetic brushless DC motor to avoid the effects of resonance, ensuring maximum rotational stability.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Expected

Pros: Well as i already have the enthoo luxe case that comes with the phanteks 140mm case fans installed, these make a great set and addition to the ones already installed.
-Cheap

Cons: -Bad Screw holes. For one, the screws seem way too big to even fit in the provided holes, idk how to even get them in. Secondly, the screw holes have no threading, so screwing in the screws just jacks up the inside of the hole. I'm not sure if it's designed this way on purpose, but it's a big pain for sure and does not feel comfortable installing it this way.
- Fat Screws
-Flawed hole design

Other Thoughts: yes, cuz they are a quality product, even though the screws do not seem to match. For the price, you get a decent durable product that will do the job.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Excellent build quality on these fans. I put two of them in the front for intake in my enthoo pro and moved the 200mm to the top. The frame of the fans is rubberized to minimize vibration much like the Noctua fans. They move plenty of air and are pretty quiet as well. They also include an extension for the cable which is a nice touch.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsDo NOT underestimate or overlook these fans.

Pros: Incredible fans. Legendary amount of air moved versus the noise level. Very underrated. Worth every penny.

Cons: None.

Well, okay, maybe if those extra 3 decibels are that important to you, you may want to look elsewhere. It's never been an issue for me, but I know how some of you people are. Price could be lower, but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Buy at least 2!!! There is no reason not to save that $3.20 per fan. Trust me, you'll want at least two of these in your case if they will fit.

One of these came with my new Phanteks Enthoo Pro case, along with a 200mm version on front. Taking the advice of numerous reviewers while simultaneously looking to save money, I opted to purchase 2 140mm Cooler Master fans at a low price to replace the existing 200mm fan, and an additional one to go on the rearmost top exhaust. Installed everything and was enjoying my new system until I did a quick test: I simply put my hand up to each of the fans to try and feel the hot air pouring out of my case and the cool air pouring in. I could feel tons of air coming out of this fan, while the 3 CM fans were sad in comparison. I could barely even feel them, so I placed a tissue in front of each fan. The CM fans could barely move the tissue, while this fan practically threw it across the room. I was...*takes off sunglasses and tips fedora*... blown away by what a huge difference it was. Sure, the difference in CFM was supposedly 21.2, but it felt MUCH higher than that. Anyways, if you're thinking about buying slightly cheaper fans, just save up and buy some of these instead.

Also, just for the record, I tested each fan in numerous locations with various amounts of obstruction. This fan was the clear winner every time.

P.S. Thanks, Newegg, for making me retype this comment all over again. Not cool.

5 out of 5 eggsComments from below

Pros: Kemp.... they are case fans, they are supposed to be 8mm long, you don-t screw them in from the fan side, you screw them in from the case side.... that gives you about 7mm embedment in the fan housing. The 1mm case is not of sufficient thickness to hold any screw threads. If used on a radiator as in two of my builds, you use the radiator screws not the fan screws.

Dan ... with MoBos having 6 or more headers there's says, not much call for a fan controller. I have (15) of these fans in a Primo, (9) in a Luxe, and (5) in a Pro .... plus numerous other builds. I had one that vibrated and Phanteks sent 2 to replace for the inconvenience. All of them are speed controlled from about 325 rpm to 1250 rpm w/ no issues.

Cons: None
