5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Easy to install, quiet. I ordered this when it was 35 with 30 mail in rebate......., was cheaper than just ordering replacement RAMsinks for zalman (they are one time use, unless you then used thermal paste of course). Needed them to switch GFx cards. My ATI 4850 runs 55-60 under load, stock cooler was ~70-90, and MUCH louder if you wanted cooler. I can't here this over fans/hard drives, computer sounded half on when I first booted with it being used to stock cooler.

Cons: Comes with RAMsinks, but not seperate sinks for voltage regulators and such, but I dont know of any cooler that comes with these and they are fairly cheap.

Other Thoughts: I would prefer it over the zalman vf900, due to being slightly easier to install (the zalman was easy to), built in auto adjusting fan, and having a lower profile. I will probably never use SLI/Crossfire but can be done with this, as apposed to the zalman. Cooling wise, about the same as the vf900, no experience with the 1000 but i am sure its superior. DON"T forget to remove the protective base sticker, luckily my card has a thermal shut off (computer completely instantly shut off before completely booted)

5 out of 5 eggsBig improvement over stock

Pros: Bought this to replace the stock cooler on my nvidia 9800gt which was running at 82c IDLE and up to 100c LOAD. Now my temps are at 48c IDLE and 55c LOAD. I'd say that's a significant improvement, the cooler was relatively easy to install and is running super quiet even during high load. I can't hear the fan over my case fans. Thermal sensor is nice to automatically reduce fan speeds, better than the vf900 which is all manual.

Cons: The screws for the "non-sli mounting" are rather long as stated, however I tried the card in both of my pci express slots with the cooler and it only obstructed the pci slot right above it. So you can fit 2 cards running this cooler in SLI, you just can't use the pci slot in between them, which isn't advisable anyhow unless you want to restrict air flow.

The thermal paste that comes with the cooler is not very good. I tried it and my idle temps were over 60c. It caked up badly, was hard to spread, and you have to use a bunch of it to get full coverage. I reseated the heatsink with AC5 and got the temps above.

I can't comment on the "sli mount" screw system that came with it because I didn't use it. It did however look alot more frustrating than the thumb screw design.

Other Thoughts: All in all it's a great cooler, the real seller for me was that it was 5 bucks after rebates. You really can't complain when you get a product that works well for such little cost.

4 out of 5 eggsOk with the rebate

Pros: Seems like a decent design with the exception of the mounting system which is lacking. The included ram sinks seem to be very good.

Cons: The mounting system on this cooler is junk. Mine came with one stand off with no threads, lucky for me there are two different mounting systems. However using the screw type system yielded very sloppy results as the stand offs that screw into the cooler itself are not long enough to line up the cooler on the card. Probably not a big deal but this stuff is fragile so you dont really want a chunk of copper flopping around on a gpu die as you try to get a couple of screws started.

Other Thoughts: I am running on a Gigabyte 4670, maybe thats why the stand offs are too short, but who wants to run the old junk thats listed as being acceptable for this cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Problem-free transaction. Installed easily. MY XFX 7600GT XXX edition card is dated but still works well except for the noisy fan that clogs with dust easily and runs on high much of the time. This $4.99 (after rebate) fan was a great low-cost solution. Temps are lower and the fan makes much less noise and will be easier to keep free of dust bunnies.

Cons: Comes with only a 3 pin connector but luckily I had a leftover 3pin/4pin adapter from a case fan I recently purchased. I don't necessarily place responsibility on the manufacturer to supply this anyway.

2 out of 5 eggsAwful design

Pros: Looks nice. Cheap.

Cons: Worst design ever. The screws provided for non-SLI configurations that end up coming out the back of the card are entirely way too long and clunky. One of the screws on the bottom would not clear the considerably small heatsink on my DFI RS482 MicroATX board. Bad design. Heatsink also shipped to me with scratch on the back of the copper core.

Red glow looks stupid. Not all of us are 16, thanks.

Other Thoughts: So glad to be getting a full refund for this product.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooler, good deal

Pros: Dropped the running temperature 10 degrees Celsius off the bat from stock cooler, runs very quietly, variable fan speed that speeds up if card is getting hotter that keeps the card at low temperatures. Still pretty quiet when running faster, not noticeable since your most likely playing a game or concentrating on a project if you're using your card enough to heat it up. Got it with a great rebate so it cost around $5 without shipping for me. It is huge, works great with 7600gt, seems to be complaint with many cards, comes with video card ram heatsinks.

Cons: none so far, probably won't be any

Other Thoughts: It glows red so if you have a side panel you'll see red coming from your graphics card.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Easy install, I had never installed a VGA cooler before but everything went very smoothly with my very first attempt. Took about 20 minutes. Fits a PNY 8600GTS card perfectly fine. Idle tempreature went down from around 57C to 41C as reported by nVidia System Monitor.

Cons: RAM heatsinks have a very cheap feeling to it but RAM gets some airflow from the cooler fan, should be fine.
Horrible instructions, pictures are tiny and completely useless. Download the PDF from manufacturer's website.

Other Thoughts: With the rebate, it is an incredible deal. I would not buy it for the full price (my card never overheated, I do not overclock) but when I saw the price after rebate, I thought: "What the heck, let's give it a shot".

5 out of 5 eggsSweeeet

Pros: Does a good job in cooling cards. Cooled my 3870 from low 50s down to low 40s in idle and reduced temps by 10-15* at load despite being much quieter than the stock cooler. Also did around the same on my 4850.

Cons: Could have included a heatsink for the power chokes.

Other Thoughts: Not bad for $5 after mail in rebate. I didn't use the ramsinks that came with the card, but next time I have to move the sink I'll install them to try them compared to copper BGA sinks.

4 out of 5 eggsgood heatsink, bad fan

Pros: The heatsink dissipates a lot of heat with the right fan attached.
The stock fan is silent when the GPU is idle.
Red LEDs look cool.

Cons: The illustrations in the instruction manual are way too small.
The stock fan is noisy at full speed, and it doesn't move a lot of air.

Other Thoughts: Although it isn't listed in the manual, this heatsink is compatible with the ATI Radeon HD 4850.
I ended up removing the stock fan from the heatsink and replacing it with an 80mm case fan, secured with twist-ties. It makes less noise and cools the card more effectively, although it ends up making the graphics card take up 3 expansion slots.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: nice fan keeps my card cool

Cons: it said it would fit my card 7600 gs, but had to make my own braket on one side so it would fit.
