3 out of 5 eggsDecent CPU cooler

Pros: Fairly good price with rebate when i bought it

Cons: oh wow it is DIFFICULT to remove once on there! the way the lockin pin arms are close to the bottom edge of heatsink make it difficult to maneuver my fingers to release the clamp to change the heatsink. it's partial motherboard because i need the heatsink out of the way to remove the memory but a more intuitive clamp system could have easily alleviated this system. it's such a horrid awkward angle to release the heatsink from the cpu. booooo

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This heatsink and fan droped temp by 20c!!! Running this on a AM2 6400+ X2 and had it in in minutes! piece of cake. If you have an intel may take a bit longer... was seeing idle temps at 54c on the old stock heatsink and fan that came with my cpu and now ilding at 32c!! I have a mid case and it fits in no problem, but it is close. Could put this any four ways I wanted, cleared MB in every direction, even the ram in it closest spot. 120mm fan is quiet too, and clips on with ease. This my friends is one killer buy!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Asus M2N32 SLI Deluxe wireless
AMD 6400+ X2
4g 667 ram
320g os hd
1tb backup
9800 Nvida

5 out of 5 eggsZen 120 cooler

Pros: Easy to inatall on AM2+. Very quiet, adjustable fan speed is quiet even at highest speed. Keeps my Phenom 9850 cool, no temps over 34C seen.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Purchased the ZEN 120 after reading reveiws here.
Altough not the highest rated cooler, I think many with less than expected cooling experience have either inadequate case ventilation or mis-applied the thermal conductor. I am using an older version of Artic Silver. Found my tube of Silver V after the install.

EXCELLENT value for this class of cpu cooler!

4 out of 5 eggsvery good cooler

Pros: keeps my phenom 9850@3.0 cool.
quiet fan.
ajustable fan speed.
not much work to install on am2 mounts.
looks nice!

Cons: a little big.
as a result, its a little tricky to fit in a mid tower sized case (raidmax tornado).
inculded thermal paste isnt too good

Other Thoughts: a recamendation to zerotherm, you should incorperate HDT (heat-pipe direct touch)

4 out of 5 eggseasy install

Pros: works great on amd very easy to install blows to back of case had to shave off fan for mem slot 1 tall heat spreaders on mem using asus ma378 cm case is 8.5 "wide approx 1" extra space. can turn 90 degrees with the way adapter goes on .i could not believe how small factory HS was 60mm fan wow !.zerotherm emailed about base size said it would cover cores in cpu despite being smaller.

Cons: none but dont expect more than15 degree drop in temps if that much.

Other Thoughts: whats up w/ people that need instuctions you got a fan/ HS / adpt /clip (give me a break) and if you have to shave of fan or HS or use a differant fan so what rma costs time &money i understand if just wont fit but come on people.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: really helps my 9950 x4 BE compared to the stock cooler. the stock cooler ran at 45 or so degrees. this heatsink fan dropped my temps to 30s on regular activities like videos or surfing and when gaming doesn't go higher than 35-36.

Cons: none really, i expected it to be huge, but still fits in my NZXT apollo case.

Other Thoughts: great replacement for the stock fan. 10 degree change

3 out of 5 eggsNot Good with AMD processors

Pros: -Quiet and drop temps by a little compared to stock fan with noise.
-Kept it because the price of it was $22
-temps around 34-39 c idle usually 37-39 c
load highest ive seen 49 c

Cons: -Didn't really drop temps by much on amd x4 phenom...
doesn't look like a great design for Amd processors
used artic silver thermal paste too..

Other Thoughts: If you get it for 20-25 then its worth it compared to noisy amd stock fan. if you want cooler temps then be prepared to spend your money!

4 out of 5 eggszen 120 update

Pros: without any adjustments keeps amd 710 at 37c lite use 47c w load

Cons: huge tight fit on asus m3a78-cm board to use 1&2 ram slot had to shave off bottom of fan was hiting top of ram heat spreaders patriot wanted to use slot1&2 somebody said move fan higher which is good idea .

Other Thoughts: using in modifided air flow xaser mid tower which is 8.6 inches wide very quiet have case on desk i dont think the fan ever runs under 1000 rpm in contrast my thermaltake mini typhon w 120 mm a.cooling pwm on my 5600 89 watt did about as well that cooler is all copper & weighs about the same as the zen master it just did miss my ram 1 slot on a gigabyte sli board i was a little worried because the base on the zen does not cover the whole processor but seems to be ok no shut downs smooth running but its only been a few days so we will see .

4 out of 5 eggszen 120

Pros: bought for future build did recieve rebate then 20.00 looks like it will fit asus m3a78 looks like #4 ram slot not useable un less shave off bottom of fan or replace w open type frame120mm fan like artic cooling etc blowing to rear of case i bought patriot w tall heat fins 2x2 gb so only using 2 ram slots anyway plus yon need 7.5& up deep case and no cpu funnel .

Cons: looks like base wont cover whole cpu but i think most of heat draws towards center of cpu & heat sink correct me if iam wrong .

Other Thoughts: i have only test fit on m3a78 board and waiting on my xaser 9000 case which is 8.3 wide looks like a great cooler and fan is easy to replace.

2 out of 5 eggsHuge cooler, Overall Disappointed.

Pros: Heatsink is excellent quality. Very large to dissipate heat. Huge fan. I got this very cheap after rebates. Yes, I did get the rebate.

Cons: Too big. It was too tall to fit it my original case. Make sure it will fit before you buy, unless you are looking to change cases. Doesn't cover the entire size of my Athlon x2 5400. No leds.

Other Thoughts:

This thing is huge, which is good and bad. I was looking to get a new case anyway, and had to make sure a case would fit this cooler. I got Raidmax Smilodon case which is 8" wide and it barely fits. I wouldn't get any case less than 7.75" wide...

Other Thoughts: First thing I want to say before any performance review is, I'm not doing anything to really strain the cooler on a regular basis, no games or intensive graphics. I did however, test it with oc-ing and orthos testing. Which is why I am disappointed it can barely handle what I do. Idle temps are 32-34 deg cel and full load gets up to 50-55. Considering everything, I'm disappointed with that.

The heatsink base is copper which would be great if it covered the entire processor. It comes short of covering my 5400 and I think is really hindering the cooling abilities. My temps read 4-8 deg hotter on second cpu.

It only fits one way in my case because of how large it is. Install everything else in your case before you put this in to find out how it fits.
